The third episode of Alien: Earth delves into the intricate dynamics of the characters' motivations and their entangled fates. As Wendy embarks on a harrowing journey to locate her abducted brother, the narrative explores themes of fear, resilience, and the psychological toll of survival in a world fraught with existential threats. The xenomorph, a harbinger of terror, not only represents a physical adversary but also serves as a metaphor for the internal struggles faced by the characters. The episode artfully juxtaposes Wendy's pursuit with the machinations of Mr. Morrow and his clandestine organization, Prodigy, hinting at a broader conspiracy that intertwines with the personal stakes of the characters. As the episode progresses, the tension escalates, culminating in a revelation that challenges the very essence of what it means to be human in the face of overwhelming odds.
Simultaneously, the podcast addresses the implications of Peacemaker's retcon in the latest season of the beloved series. The transformation from the Justice League to the Justice Gang raises questions about identity and purpose in a universe that constantly reshapes itself. The dialogue surrounding Peacemaker's character arc underscores the struggles of reconciling past actions with present circumstances, highlighting the complexities of morality within the superhero genre. This dual narrative structure not only enhances the viewing experience but also invites thoughtful discourse on the evolving nature of heroism and villainy, especially in a landscape where allegiances are often blurred.
Furthermore, the episode's exploration of mental health issues, particularly in relation to the characters' experiences, resonates deeply with contemporary audiences. The discourse surrounding the importance of mental well-being, coupled with the characters' personal battles, reflects a significant cultural shift towards acknowledging and addressing mental health in popular media. The juxtaposition of these themes within the framework of science fiction enriches the narrative, providing a multifaceted examination of human nature and societal expectations. Ultimately, Alien: Earth Episode 3 not only propels the plot forward but also serves as a poignant commentary on the human condition, making it a compelling entry in the series.

Speaker B:So what's.
Speaker B:How did your week in your Thursday go so far?
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's been fine.
Speaker C:It's been quietish.
Speaker C:Can't really complain.
Speaker B:I'll take it.
Speaker B:I'll take it.
Speaker C:You know, job try to hold you a little bit and you gotta hold it back.
Speaker B:Yeah, we, but we, we Blur station to fix all that.

Speaker C:Imma act like I don't need to work.
Speaker C:I'm fully.
Speaker C:I don't need to work there anymore.
Speaker B:Say that 6 o' clock alarm that I normally or 5 o' clock alarm that I normally have to get up to.
Speaker B:Be like five o' clock peasants.
Speaker B:No, I'm kidding.
Speaker C:I. I will actually roll in when I feel like it.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:And leave as soon as I get there.
Speaker B:Work from home.
Speaker B:Say less.
Speaker B:Catch a flight to go where?
Speaker B:Definitely.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker C:Oh, I'm sorry.
Speaker C:You need me to Stay all day.
Speaker B:Would they say, I, I don't, I don't see that in, I don't see that in my schedule.
Speaker C:You know, that's just not for me.
Speaker C:I don't know who you think I am, but I'm far better than you think.
Speaker B:I think we, we are in a culture now, and I think this is a good thing.
Speaker B:I think, you know, we are far from the culture that you say, hey, given you're putting in your two weeks and, and, and don't use your PTO unless you're necessary or your sick time.
Speaker C:We are so far for the hours I've given you, gone.
Speaker C:Yeah, say less.
Speaker B:We're so far from that, that type of culture now where people like, at least our culture, we're just like, yo, that's my, that's my time.
Speaker B:I'm gonna use it as I see fit.
Speaker B:I don't have to tell you why I'm taking it off.
Speaker B:You just know I'm not gonna be here.
Speaker C:I won't be here.
Speaker C:I won't be here for the time I told you I wasn't going to be here, or I'm just not going to be here.
Speaker B:And I don't think I, I think that is a culture that is slowly catching on.
Speaker B:People are learning to, you know, especially when it comes to job opportunities, which we already know that's far and in between with a lot of things that's going on.
Speaker B:But even with the job opportunities that are there, they are learning to be like two weeks for what?
Speaker B:Because if you were going to let me go, I don't get a two week reprieve.
Speaker B:So what am I getting?
Speaker C:Interviewing anybody the day before?
Speaker C:You try.
Speaker C:I didn't see anybody get interviewed the day before they tried to fire.
Speaker C:Try to fire.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker C:So what were you.
Speaker B:I need my time, Scotty.
Speaker B:Give me my, Give me my time.
Speaker B:Like, give me, just give me my time.
Speaker B:Well, we, we.
Speaker B:No, and cut the check.
Speaker B:Whatever PTO I got left, cut the check.
Speaker B:That's it.
Speaker B:I did that.
Speaker B:I did that at one job that I was there for, like since I was 19 and then left when I was 27.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:What's up?
Speaker B:What's up?
Speaker B:Will.
Speaker B:Will is a co worker of mine.
Speaker B:He finally made it in for a lie.
Speaker C:Oh, and we talking.
Speaker C:Oh, well, no, he's cool.
Speaker B:Will school.
Speaker B:Will's cool.
Speaker B:We, we cut from the same cloth.
Speaker B:He cool.
Speaker B:He good people, you know?
Speaker B:So look, Chris, he said, yeah, you can notice I'm not here for two weeks.
Speaker B:That part.
Speaker B:So, yeah, we're Just, it's.
Speaker B:It's there.
Speaker B:We're at that potential place now in our culture where we just.
Speaker B:We.
Speaker B:Mental health is a thing and it's necessary.
Speaker B:Taking time off for yourself is necessary.
Speaker B:You know, you don't have to explain the world to anything about what you need to do.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's not necessary.
Speaker B:That's because a lot of work culture, not every job is like that.
Speaker B:But a lot of work cultures become toxic.
Speaker C:That.
Speaker C:That toxic positivity be trapping my ass something fierce.
Speaker C:Oh, we're all a family.
Speaker C:Am I in your will?
Speaker B:What's up, man?
Speaker C:As a dependent.
Speaker C:What's going on?
Speaker C:Please let me know.
Speaker B:Chaos demon is in the building.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He's one.
Speaker B:He's one to tell.
Speaker B:He will be one.
Speaker B:That Chaos demon is one to say, take that time off.
Speaker B:Take that time off.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:These jobs don't care them.
Speaker B:Like you.
Speaker B:You need something.
Speaker B:It.
Speaker B:We just cover.
Speaker B:And we've covered it plenty of times, but we just covered a show dealing with mental health.
Speaker B:So yeah, if you need it, take it.
Speaker B:Because if you don't use it, you lose it.
Speaker C:I will.
Speaker C:I will say, please be strategic about your pto.
Speaker B:That chart.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You don't want to abuse it.
Speaker C:If you know, your head honcho might kind of sort of be coming in.
Speaker C:You know, the one that ain't never actually in the office and it's constantly flying somewhere or has to be in a meeting that's in a whole nother part of the.
Speaker C:On the globe.
Speaker C:Take.
Speaker C:Take your PTO when he come back.
Speaker C:Take.
Speaker C:Take your PTO when you come back because he.
Speaker C:He gonna make that office feel real weird.
Speaker B:So what happened?
Speaker B:What, in my absence?
Speaker B:Well.
Speaker C:I don't work for you.
Speaker C:I work for him.
Speaker B:The hell mouth opened up and.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's it.
Speaker B:There's no other way to put it.
Speaker C:Doesn't matter.
Speaker C:I'm employed.
Speaker C:You employed?
Speaker C:What's the problem?
Speaker B:So normally I would have.
Speaker B:I would have had our trailers up, but I didn't get a chance to grab them.
Speaker B:But I do have a question.
Speaker B:What is your comfort show?
Speaker B:It could be new, it could be old.
Speaker B:What is your comfort show?
Speaker B:Something that like every time you just.
Speaker B:You, You.
Speaker B:You just flip it on, you put it on the tv, you can go to sleep to it, whatever.
Speaker C:I have several.
Speaker C:I do.
Speaker C:I do.
Speaker B:I'm not judging because I do too.
Speaker C:And they are vast in.
Speaker C:In range.
Speaker C:We'll go first.
Speaker C:I gotta.
Speaker C:I gotta make a list.
Speaker D:Not ready to name any of them.
Speaker D:I'm not sure I have A comfort show.
Speaker D:If I have a comfort movie.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, that'll work too.
Speaker D:Oh, give me.
Speaker D:Give me the Matrix.
Speaker B:Okay, the first one.
Speaker D:Yes.
Speaker D:In the trenches for the Matrix, I recorded the audio on cassette so I could listen to the movie on a road trip like that.
Speaker B:No, I'm not.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker D:Into the thick of it.
Speaker B:Okay, hear me out.
Speaker B:Look, Chrissy said it's something about the Daily show that puts her right to sleep.
Speaker B:I, I.
Speaker B:In one of my road trips to a convention, I.
Speaker B:As a matter of fact, it was on my way to Blur economy.
Speaker B:And even whether I was going to Philly or I was going to blurcon, I always have to go through this underground.
Speaker B:Where this.
Speaker B:Under the mountain bridge or through the mountain bridge.
Speaker B:And I was always playing Star wars themes.
Speaker B:Didn't matter what movie I was always playing.
Speaker B:And for some reason, it always timed when it was like the Starfighters were always.
Speaker B:It was the Flight of the Starships, and it always happened.
Speaker B:And with my wild, childlike imagination, I'm like, oh, this is.
Speaker B:This is time perfectly.
Speaker B:I'm going right through where all the lights it's.
Speaker B:I get it.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:So bam.
Speaker B:I get it.
Speaker B:I get it.
Speaker C:That.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker B:That tracks.
Speaker B:That tracks.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:All right.
Speaker C:My first two are currently.
Speaker C:Currently Apothecary Diaries.
Speaker C:Okay, I do love me some of that.
Speaker C:I just wrote the home movies.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker C:That is my highly approved.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:Oh, God.
Speaker C:They're sort of kind of Bridgerton.
Speaker C:I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:No, no, no.
Speaker B:There's no sort of kind of look.
Speaker C:Only because it's.
Speaker C:It gets pink and fluffy sometimes.
Speaker C:I'm like, I don't give a. I need you to figure out what the hell is going on over here.
Speaker C:Oh, are you gonna get busted that Scandal.
Speaker B:Good pick.
Speaker B:No, good rhymes.
Speaker B:This is.
Speaker C:Batman Animated Series.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker C:And I think that's not it, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Speaker C:I do have.
Speaker C:I do have a healthy rotation.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I was gonna say BTAS is.
Speaker B:Is one is mine too.
Speaker B:That It's.
Speaker B:It helps.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:No, no.
Speaker B:Look, the fact that you didn't finish Scandal or How to Get Away with Murder is not even a bad thing.
Speaker C:I didn't finish how to Get Away with Murder.
Speaker B:Don't.
Speaker B:And I said it.
Speaker B:Candy B. Shout out to Candy B.
Speaker B:Get your tickets at Centers.
Speaker B:Go to Candy B parties.
Speaker B:Get your tickets for Centers.
Speaker B:If you're in the Cleveland area or if you're going to fly in to go to the party, it's at October 11th.
Speaker B:She just recently watched Scandal.
Speaker B:She did a Scandal because she hadn't watched it, like, in its original run.
Speaker B:So she.
Speaker B:Not too long ago.
Speaker C:She's alive and never her.
Speaker B:If you knew Brandy.
Speaker B:Brandy has a busy schedule.
Speaker B:So when she sits down to, like, really sit down to when she has a moment and, like, binge something, it's always like, a little late.
Speaker B:She's like.
Speaker B:And she said, she's like, I'm a little late to the party.
Speaker B:But it's her having those reactions to the things that a lot of people had already watched, which I think is.
Speaker B:Is a cool thing because she's not on the bandwagon.
Speaker C:But I would think that that show, if she heard or saw like, five minutes of that hoe, she'd have been locked the in forever.
Speaker B:My wife was locked in.
Speaker B:My wife.
Speaker B:She.
Speaker B:She did the binge on how to Get Away with Murder.
Speaker B:She did the binge.
Speaker B:She called in a little late.
Speaker B:While it was still in its original run.
Speaker B:She caught in a little late, but when she got in.
Speaker C:Don't talk to me.
Speaker C:Don't listen.
Speaker C:Don't make no sudden movements like you going for the remote control.
Speaker C:I promise you, I will figure out how to get rid of your body.
Speaker D:Yeah, the great part about Scandal is I was also targeted to the party, but one of my frat brothers was like, hey, listen, I know what it looked like, but you got to get down.
Speaker D:Also, Columbus Short is in it.
Speaker D:I was like, what?
Speaker D:Stomp the yard?
Speaker D:Oh, man, let me check this out.
Speaker D:And then they got rid of them.
Speaker B:See, look for.
Speaker B:For me, because I. I caught on to that late.
Speaker B:But for me, it was Batman, the Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, Supernatural.
Speaker B:Supernatural is a comfort show for me, except for that last season.
Speaker C:I can't get into it.
Speaker B:It's that last season.
Speaker B:It's that last.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And it's no fault of.
Speaker B:Of.
Speaker B:Of the show itself.
Speaker B:It just happened during COVID Now, it was going to be their last season, and there was a lot of restrictions.
Speaker B:If you.
Speaker B:If you.
Speaker B:For those who've watched Supernatural and they've seen the season finale or the series finale in that season finale as well, that whole series finale last season, you'll get exactly what I mean.
Speaker B:Like, there were a ton of.
Speaker B:Of restrictions for that show because what they had in mind would have blown everybody's mind.
Speaker B:They would have sent them out on a very good note, let's put it that way.
Speaker D:You know, so where were they going to go?
Speaker D:Because haven't they already, like, punched the devil and some other like, so.
Speaker B:So this is what was going to happen.
Speaker B:This what was gonna happen, what they had in mind.
Speaker B:And spoiler alert for a show that's been on for 15 seasons.
Speaker B:It was still going to go the way it was.
Speaker B:Dean was going to die, but not the way he was going to die, which was very unexpected.
Speaker B:He bled out.
Speaker B:Of all things.
Speaker B:He bled out.
Speaker B:He wasn't bit.
Speaker B:He wasn't attacked.
Speaker B:He just got.
Speaker B:He got.
Speaker B:He got punctured with something and bled out.
Speaker B:But in his death, he would go to heaven.
Speaker B:In heaven, he would see Bobby, he would see his mother, he would see his father.
Speaker B:He would see all the past hunters that he dealt with over the past 15 years, all there, happy.
Speaker B:There was a bar, like in their earlier seasons, where hunters would go.
Speaker B:They would.
Speaker B:The guy that owned the bar, the bar itself, everything would be there.
Speaker B:So it was a family reunion.
Speaker B:And then Sam dies later of old age, Of.
Speaker B:Of actually having a family and everything else.
Speaker B:The business still continues on.
Speaker B:Yeah, he.
Speaker B:He died, but he died at old age.
Speaker B:He was still in the family business, but he died of old age.
Speaker B:And then he meets up with Dean again.
Speaker B:You know, Dean's waiting on him.
Speaker B:Family's all together again.
Speaker B:It.
Speaker B:It had a much happier ending.
Speaker B:Opposed to being restricted, you know, and just being.
Speaker B:Saying, hey, you know, seeing Bobby and sitting down with Bobby and having a beer with him.
Speaker B:He says, yeah, your mom and dad is up the hill.
Speaker B:You know, they.
Speaker B:It was that type of thing.
Speaker B:You didn't get to see mom and dad.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So it was.
Speaker B:It was what.
Speaker B:They had him in Kansas who plays like, Wayward Son.
Speaker B:That's the song.
Speaker B:Wayward Song.
Speaker B:Song.
Speaker B:Wayward Son.
Speaker B:Son.
Speaker B:And it's another song that they have on there that they play, but they would have been performing in the.
Speaker B:The local bar.
Speaker B:It was a whole thing.
Speaker B:They had a whole thing, and it was just like, Covid snatched it from them because of restrictions.
Speaker B:So I was just like, yeah, that sucked.
Speaker B:Because what you got, you're just like.
Speaker B:But you had more.
Speaker B:And they couldn't give it to us.
Speaker B:So, yeah, it's a.
Speaker B:It's a couple of them.
Speaker B:It's a.
Speaker B:It's a. Chuck, this is.
Speaker B:Before we knew how much of a dick Zachary Levi could have been.
Speaker B:That was.
Speaker B:He was.
Speaker B:He was.
Speaker B:Chuck.
Speaker C:Oh, Chuck, no.
Speaker C:I'm so sorry.
Speaker C:But I was trying to comment on Mayhem's in the.
Speaker C:In the chat section, and I got distracted for a minute.
Speaker C:I put my phone down.
Speaker C:My phone's down now, but yeah.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:And then Firefly and Serenity always.
Speaker C:Oh, wait.
Speaker B:And literally, I watch it in that order.
Speaker B:Firefly, then Serenity.
Speaker C:Buffy the vampire player.
Speaker C:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Which I did kind of go on the binge a couple with just a couple of weeks ago on a Buffy bench.
Speaker B:And I caught it at the perfect time.
Speaker B:It was the introduction of Faith.
Speaker B:So I caught it.
Speaker B:I was like, aha.
Speaker B:I. I was late getting somewhere.
Speaker B:I don't know where.
Speaker B:It was late.
Speaker B:I got stuck.
Speaker B:I'm like.
Speaker B:I was watching Puffy.
Speaker C:I dropped.
Speaker C:I'll be right.
Speaker C:I dropped something.
Speaker C:I'll be right.
Speaker B:What?
Speaker D:She lying.
Speaker C:Not lying.
Speaker C:I dropped.
Speaker C:I dropped my.
Speaker C:I trying to put on my nails.
Speaker C:I dropped.
Speaker B:Oh, Lord.
Speaker B:What the.
Speaker B:The.
Speaker B:The whoopty nails.
Speaker C:My.
Speaker C:My, My, my Press on nails.
Speaker B:Oh, I thought it was the whoopty nails.
Speaker C:No, not whoop these.
Speaker C:Not whoop these nail.
Speaker C:No whoopy.
Speaker C:Whoop these nails.
Speaker C:I gotta.
Speaker C:I have to sit down.
Speaker B:Shout out to Whoopi and Navy Montel.
Speaker B:They are at Dragon Con currently right now, so.
Speaker B:They are.
Speaker B:You'll be seeing some footage from Navy.
Speaker B:That man is globetrotting for the past three months.
Speaker B:Yeah, he's.
Speaker B:He's been globetrotting.
Speaker B:He's gonna be sore when he gets home.
Speaker B:He's gonna be like, yeah, I need to rest.
Speaker B:Is he going to be on Room Full of Blurreds Sunday?
Speaker B:Is he doing.
Speaker C:Allegedly.
Speaker C:Yeah, that's what he said he gonna do.
Speaker B:So you don't.
Speaker C:It's okay.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Hey, he's the man.
Speaker B:He's locked in right now.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:Five hotels, three of them are interconnected.
Speaker B:A whole week of a con.
Speaker B:That's after.
Speaker B:After, After San Diego.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:That's a lie.
Speaker C:San Diego Atlantic immediately last week.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:Yeah, he gonna be tired.
Speaker C:He gonna.
Speaker C:He gonna need nap.
Speaker C:Nap.
Speaker B:He hasn't even had a chance to go through withdrawal because he's going to another convention.
Speaker B:His drop is going to be insane.
Speaker B:It's not going to be easy mayhem.
Speaker C:Just say it out loud.
Speaker C:You ain't got to write it in the chat.
Speaker C:If.
Speaker C:Just say.
Speaker C:Just say your.
Speaker C:Out loud.
Speaker D:Say it out loud.
Speaker D:But I'm not ableist.
Speaker D:I'm trying to incorporate everyone into the foolishness.
Speaker B:Well, he tends to.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:He's got a point there.
Speaker B:No, but those are just a few of the comfort shows I have.
Speaker B:You know, it's.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's nothing for me to like, flip those on.
Speaker B:Even.
Speaker B:Even in, like, just going through channels and stuff, and I'm like, oh, serenity's on.
Speaker B:And my wife, the first thing she says, like, didn't you.
Speaker B:I said, no, no, no.
Speaker B:You let me have this.
Speaker B:This.
Speaker B:It's bad enough that the network took it from us.
Speaker B:You let.
Speaker B:So, yeah, looking forward to a lot of stuff.
Speaker B:And speaking of the cast of Serenity, I'm thinking of Nathan feeling.
Speaker B:And I'm looking forward to what James Gunn has in store, because what is it?
Speaker B:Lanterns next year and Supergirl.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:And whatever else he decides.
Speaker B:Oh, God, yeah.
Speaker C:Because there ain't no way he's just.
Speaker C:He's only working on those two things.
Speaker C:There's no way.
Speaker C:Well, no, because that's all he did.
Speaker C:That's literally all he did this year.
Speaker C:He did a TV show and a movie.
Speaker C:That's it.
Speaker B:And it was enough to get.
Speaker B:Enough.
Speaker B:It did enough.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:It did enough.
Speaker C:I am satiated.
Speaker C:Satiated.
Speaker B:They say.
Speaker B:Oh, it made five.
Speaker B:The Superman made 500 million.
Speaker B:Well, yeah, that's still good.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Considering the fact of inflation, ticket prices, and.
Speaker B:And popcorn buckets, I think that movie did pretty damn well.
Speaker C:Yeah, y' all gonna have to miss me with them popcorn buckets.
Speaker D:The people pocket watching box office today is.
Speaker B:That's weird.
Speaker B:That's unnerving to me.
Speaker D:This movie is no good.
Speaker D:It didn't make back its budget.
Speaker D:Plus marketing.
Speaker C:What a wrong.
Speaker B:What is wrong with these people?
Speaker B:What happened to just going and.
Speaker B:And enjoying it and then hoping it does very well?
Speaker B:Like, look, you're talking about.
Speaker C:The only people that need to be worried about that is people that put the money in it.
Speaker C:Yeah, I don't give a. I don't.
Speaker C:I'm not worried if I think a movie is shitty.
Speaker C:It don't matter if it.
Speaker C:If it blew the.
Speaker C:If it made the budget or blew it.
Speaker C:I don't give a.
Speaker C:If it was a shitty movie and it made $10 million, it's still a shitty movie.
Speaker B:We.
Speaker B:And we've seen that happen.
Speaker B:We've seen that happen.
Speaker B:We've seen a movie make over a billion dollars based off a word alone.
Speaker B:And then you watch and it's just like, no, this one did.
Speaker D:I just.
Speaker D:I just want to be clear.
Speaker B:Your.
Speaker D:Your 12 units of Disney stock does not actually count as, like, oh, no, they're not.
Speaker D:They're not putting my money to good use.
Speaker D:They.
Speaker D:They.
Speaker D:Bobby Iger, he's.
Speaker D:He's not gonna miss you if you leave.
Speaker B:He's already got his own multi.
Speaker B:Million dollar check cut.
Speaker B:Billion dollar check cut.
Speaker B:It doesn't matter to him either way.
Speaker B:So, yeah.
Speaker C:Unless you own.
Speaker C:Own what?
Speaker C:10?
Speaker C:I. I feel like this is a good number.
Speaker C:If you own 10.
Speaker C:Of Disney stock.
Speaker C:Then you can talk.
Speaker C:I think I'm being very kind.
Speaker B:That's where you can walk into the room.
Speaker B:It's like I wasn't informed of this meeting.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:And I need to know what are you doing for the fourth quarter of this.
Speaker B:Of this company?
Speaker B:I. I need to know at that point.
Speaker C:I need to.
Speaker C:I need to have the address for the main office, the real main office.
Speaker B:I. Iger's personal number.
Speaker B:Not his assistant.
Speaker C:Who's.
Speaker C:Who's your mistress?
Speaker B:Who's the mistress I need.
Speaker B:You said you're called.
Speaker B:You're calling at 3 in the morning.
Speaker B:Robert, I need to understand what it is.
Speaker B:Is going on right now.
Speaker B:I'll see you in the morning.
Speaker C:I will see you in the morning.
Speaker C:Yeah, I will be seeing you in the morning.
Speaker B:So we're gonna take a quick break.
Speaker B:We're gonna come back.
Speaker B:We're going to talk about Alien Earth episode three.
Speaker B:Not four, but three, which is Metamorphosis.
Speaker B:There are some things that has happened in that episode, that particular episode that I'm still kind of.
Speaker B:My gabbers were flashed.
Speaker B:No, we're doing four.
Speaker B:Oh, we're just doing.
Speaker B:We're just doing three today.
Speaker B:Oh, three and.
Speaker D:Yeah, four next week.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Time to see it and whatnot.
Speaker B:You know, like.
Speaker B:Like Bama.
Speaker B:We'll be right back.
Speaker C:I still hear foreign.
Speaker B:Welcome to the Super Breakdown podcast, where cosmic tales unfold.
Speaker D:Join power Maximus Lord Triage and the.
Speaker B:Darth Legacy Jason M. 40 on a journey through heroic realms where legends are born and destinies entwined.
Speaker B:Delve into the cosmic currents.
Speaker B:Unraveling the mysteries of superior superheroes, villains and champions.
Speaker D:Embrace the cosmic energy that binds us.
Speaker B:All and let your journey begin.
Speaker B:This is the Super Breakdown podcast.
Speaker B:Enter the cosmic sag yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah what understand I got a lot on my mind A lot.
Speaker A:On my chest Starting the war with these stars you won't get far this is the way you play a game of life A death Star so far removed from the drama we don't know this but won't hesitate to shed a light Like a patronus with misadvent troubles at a disadvantage Must be something in the water Dip your toe because you know it's one where can you find another show with such a fine cast?
Speaker A:And if you try to box them in they playing Minecraft and basically to sum it up like you define now this true's the best and it figures like a line graph I'm every band like the words I do I know hated you don't have to have absurd iq.
Speaker A:They know you can't relate because they're nerds like you.
Speaker A:Help.
Speaker A:You'll see the world from a blur eye view.
Speaker A:You are now tuned in to blur view.
Speaker A:And without further ado, we out.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:We are back, and we are discussing this first half.
Speaker B:Anyway, Alien Earth episode three, which was Metamorphosis.
Speaker B:And before we really do the deep dive, I have a question that still has me agape.
Speaker B:There's.
Speaker B:There's a scene in here, in this episode where Wendy.
Speaker B:Well, we left off with episode two.
Speaker B:Wendy is going after her brother.
Speaker C:Correct.
Speaker B:Because the xenomorph snatched him up.
Speaker C:Correct.
Speaker B:Episode three, she's tracking him down.
Speaker B:Tracking it down.
Speaker B:And it does something I am so not used to seeing.
Speaker B:It was like.
Speaker B:It was taunting her.
Speaker B:Like, I think it was a shipping container or something they were in.
Speaker B:And it literally pokes his head through.
Speaker B:Like, come this way.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker C:Right before they've.
Speaker C:They've done.
Speaker C:They've definitely been a.
Speaker C:A rope.
Speaker C:A dope type of situation.
Speaker C:Like, I'm over here, but.
Speaker C:And then have, like 40 of them come out of nowhere.
Speaker B:But see, that's the thing.
Speaker B:They normally have other ones that.
Speaker B:It was just by itself.
Speaker C:Who.
Speaker C:Who gonna check me, boo?
Speaker C:He don't know what he's about to get into.
Speaker B:Like, it was.
Speaker B:It was like it peeked its head through the curtain, said, peekaboo, I see you come over here.
Speaker B:And I was just like, I've never seen that level of.
Speaker B:Of taunting.
Speaker C:Yeah, it was a little.
Speaker C:It was a little extra something.
Speaker B:But it learned the hard way not to do that.
Speaker B:But.
Speaker D:See how that turned out.
Speaker D:Play stupid games.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:Like, you know, it.
Speaker B:It.
Speaker B:I'm like, I don't think you should have taught in Wendy.
Speaker B:Wendy, she.
Speaker B:She.
Speaker B:Her.
Speaker B:Apparently.
Speaker B:So there's.
Speaker B:There's some things that left me.
Speaker B:I'm like, yo, that is.
Speaker D:Wendy ain't never scared.
Speaker B:No, she's not.
Speaker C:And that's a problem in of itself.
Speaker B:The crazy thing is this being able to hear it is new.
Speaker D:Yeah, I'd like some explanation on that, hopefully before the season is over.
Speaker D:Like, what's.
Speaker D:What exactly.
Speaker D:If it's almost like they're trying to say that she has some sort of tie spiritually or something to the things.
Speaker D:I'm like, how?
Speaker D:Just.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Because if this is the first time, at least I can't remember where the timeline is on this.
Speaker B:But if this is the first time.
Speaker C:It'S obviously two years before the.
Speaker C:The original alien.
Speaker B:Two years before the original.
Speaker B:So this is the first time this thing's been on Earth.
Speaker B:This species has been on Earth.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker C:Yeah, they wouldn't.
Speaker B:That, like.
Speaker B:Like, Mayhem said that tie is like, what it.
Speaker B:What did you do?
Speaker B:What do you know?
Speaker B:You know?
Speaker C:Wait, are you.
Speaker C:Are you talking about hearing it?
Speaker B:That buzzing she's hearing?
Speaker C:Like, they have super hearing.
Speaker B:Yeah, but the.
Speaker B:What the.
Speaker B:Did the.
Speaker B:The other ones don't pick that up.
Speaker D:Yeah, that's.
Speaker D:That's my only thing is, like, why it doesn't seem to affect to everyone else?
Speaker D:Like, I'm thinking it's just having super hearing and hearing it.
Speaker D:But, like, why the rest of y' all not listening?
Speaker D:Like, I just.
Speaker B:Like, what we've seen.
Speaker B:What we've seen with Wendy so far is she.
Speaker B:She has a very adaptive ability.
Speaker B:In.
Speaker B:In goes beyond what even Prodigy built that body for, I think.
Speaker B:You know, like, when she was looking for her brother, where she was following her brother prior to the meeting and everything and touching the computer screens and changing stuff and what.
Speaker B:They didn't even know she could do that because that was the first thing they said.
Speaker B:Like, how does she do that?
Speaker B:How does.
Speaker B:How does she.
Speaker B:So that means you didn't design that body to be, what, an interface?
Speaker D:Europe?
Speaker D:And she'd have been shut down right that moment, like, oh, hell, no, I ain't teaching that.
Speaker D:Oh, no, no, no.
Speaker B:It was like, y' all so far in the future, like, none of y' all seen Megan or nothing.
Speaker B:Y'.
Speaker B:All don't.
Speaker B:Y' all don't take AI serious.
Speaker C:Probably not.
Speaker C:I mean, honestly, like.
Speaker B:I mean, she's watching what was.
Speaker B:She's.
Speaker B:They're watching Peter Pan and.
Speaker B:And what was the movie her and her brother used to.
Speaker B:To watch?
Speaker B:Yeah, I say so.
Speaker B:It's like y' all did.
Speaker B:Megan never crossed anybody's mind.
Speaker B:Like, I refuse to call this boy.
Speaker C:But.
Speaker C:But they're supposed.
Speaker C:But they're supposed to still be somewhat human, right?
Speaker C:They are supposed to be human.
Speaker C:Like, this is just.
Speaker C:This is supposed to be like the ultimate save point.
Speaker B:Yeah, they are.
Speaker B:They.
Speaker B:Yeah, they have.
Speaker B:They.
Speaker B:They have the human consciousness without.
Speaker B:There's not even supposed to have feeling.
Speaker B:They just have their human consciousness.
Speaker B:But somehow Wendy is surpassing all of that.
Speaker B:Like, her looking for a brother and then having these memories, which she's not gonna lose, but still, you know, even that therapist is like, you know, she could smile, but does she feel happiness?
Speaker B:That was the question, you know, like, I can smile.
Speaker B:And they say, well, do you feel happiness?
Speaker B:And she wasn't sure.
Speaker B:But once again, this was, like, early on, we don't know if she can.
Speaker B:I mean apparently when she catch, when she realizes that, well, when her brother realizes it's her, there is a moment of.
Speaker B:Not grief, but there's a moment of relief that she feels like, like I lost my brother.
Speaker B:Well, I was watching him all this time.
Speaker B:I've been wanting to tell him I'm still here.
Speaker B:I've been, you know, and I couldn't contact him.
Speaker B:I couldn't do this, I couldn't do that.
Speaker B:So, yeah.
Speaker C:I'm stuck.
Speaker C:I think that this whole thing, Wendy's the ultimate experiment, right?
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, she is.
Speaker C:What going to lead the rest of the lost boys to their next.
Speaker B:That wasn't even the thumbs up.
Speaker C:All of her advancements and failures are what's going to set the standards for the next, next set of robots over this.
Speaker C:What I'm presuming is like 10 year period where they're making more of them.
Speaker C:So maybe they, they can't really undo anything that she does because they have put all this money into her.
Speaker C:And also if you tinker with the too much, she might go crazy and die or, and, or die.
Speaker C:So I don't think they can do anything once she's there.
Speaker C:They kind of just have to let her run for course and continue to perfect these hybrids because the, the main issue that they figured out is we can't put adults in these bodies.
Speaker C:It's got to be kids.
Speaker C:There's no, there's no puberty.
Speaker C:There's no, what is it, foundational core morals or anything built in there.
Speaker C:It's just this childlike imagination and you know, know all that type of stuff.
Speaker C:So I don't, I don't think they can do anything about her from a financial point or a moral point or a we up point.
Speaker B:I think and I'm agree, I'm gonna agree with you there.
Speaker B:And I think from the boy cavaliers perspective, he's so in tune.
Speaker B:I hate that name.
Speaker B:I hate the name.
Speaker B:I hate that name.
Speaker B:I hate it.
Speaker C:I just want to like.
Speaker B:Like he's so, he's so keyed into what else can they do, you know?
Speaker C:I think he's, I feel like he's the first hybrid.
Speaker C:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:I keep getting that.
Speaker C:I get like he's not, I don't think he is a hybrid, but I think that like he's, he is, he wants their, his mindset into them.
Speaker C:He wants that type of wild creative brain or some in them.
Speaker C:I hate that guy.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:I was like calling this dude boy Cavalier is not.
Speaker D:He says it's because he.
Speaker D:He wants to have a conversation with someone that's at least on his level, if not smarter than him.
Speaker D:I think he just wants to live forever.
Speaker D:I think he thinks he can figure it out.
Speaker D:I think.
Speaker D:I know they can only do children's brains, but maybe he believes he's young enough where, like, I can bridge this gap.
Speaker D:I just gonna need this to.
Speaker B:To work first.
Speaker B:He's the.
Speaker B:He's the Peter Pan.
Speaker B:He's the Peter Pan.
Speaker D:Like, he's a weirdo.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He's definitely a weirdo.
Speaker B:He's the Peter Pan.
Speaker B:But out of this whole thing, if Wendy is the.
Speaker B:The mother hen, so to speak, in kind of the lead and the one that's actually using her brain, then I would say he's kind of the Peter Pan out of the whole thing.
Speaker C:Go ahead.
Speaker C:Mayhem.
Speaker C:I'm sorry.
Speaker D:No.
Speaker D:Are we about to say the same thing about old girl opening of the episode?
Speaker B:What the.
Speaker B:The fight you talking about?
Speaker D:No, I don't remember which character it is.
Speaker D:One of the Lost boys.
Speaker D:She asked all the questions, and I was like, my new favorite character.
Speaker B:Oh, wait, wait, I know you're talking about.
Speaker B:Is that the one that was with.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Is that the one that.
Speaker B:Is that the one that's with Boyd Cavalier?
Speaker B:I.
Speaker D:No, I don't think she's with.
Speaker C:Boy, they were all sitting in, like, this.
Speaker C:This round.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker C:Setting.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker D:It's like, why children?
Speaker D:Why Peter Pan?
Speaker D:Why can't we go home?
Speaker D:Like, she asked all the questions.
Speaker B:I was like, thank you.
Speaker B:Somebody.
Speaker B:Somebody has some sense.
Speaker C:Ask one question.
Speaker C:At least one question.
Speaker B:So what we got from that whole ordeal with Wendy facing off with the xenomorph and the taunting is it found out the hard way.
Speaker B:Not such a good old turnout for it.
Speaker C:A lot of it.
Speaker B:A lot of it.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:She.
Speaker B:She's down for the count, but then they take her brother and put him under, and they take.
Speaker B:They.
Speaker B:You know why?
Speaker B:At the same time, one of the face huggers, they take the embryo of a xenomorph.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Which.
Speaker B:Which I'm glad they were.
Speaker B:No, go ahead.
Speaker C:It wasn't an embryo, was it.
Speaker C:Was it a gross.
Speaker C:Was it?
Speaker C:Yeah, because it's not an egg.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker C:Is it an embryo?
Speaker C:Because they don't have them inside.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know what?
Speaker B:No, you're right.
Speaker B:No, no, it's.
Speaker B:It's more of a.
Speaker B:It's more of a sperm.
Speaker B:It is, right, because it's.
Speaker B:It doesn't.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:The.
Speaker B:The face Huggers come out.
Speaker B:The eggs.
Speaker B:Yeah, the face.
Speaker B:The fake.
Speaker B:The eggs produce for the egg.
Speaker B:The xenomorph produces the eggs.
Speaker B:The eggs produce the face huggers.
Speaker B:The face huggers produces the sperm.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker B:I hate to say it that way.
Speaker C:Ew.
Speaker C:Ew it.
Speaker C:Gross.
Speaker B:It's a.
Speaker B:It's a weird dynamic, but, yeah.
Speaker B:And they chose to.
Speaker B:They took her brother's lung.
Speaker C:Rude.
Speaker C:Rude.
Speaker C:I gotta walk around like I got asthma for the rest of my life.
Speaker B:You know, they gave him a new lung, but I'm like.
Speaker B:But you took his healthy lung.
Speaker B:Not punctured or anything.
Speaker B:Because it's clearly.
Speaker B:It's clearly no damage to this thing.
Speaker B:It's no damage.
Speaker C:Wait a minute.
Speaker C:Was.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:He got.
Speaker C:He got hit in the.
Speaker B:He got.
Speaker C:For real.
Speaker C:Hit in the chest.
Speaker B:He got hit.
Speaker B:But they wanted.
Speaker B:They are doing too much.
Speaker C:I think they kept it healthy enough to.
Speaker C:To use it as, like, an incubator.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:For the long.
Speaker C:I don't.
Speaker C:I don't.
Speaker C:I think it was.
Speaker C:Was.
Speaker C:I do legitimately think it was damaged, because that would be weird.
Speaker C:And just.
Speaker C:We're like, all right, we're just gonna put you in some formaldehyde or some.
Speaker C:And.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And let this.
Speaker B:Let this little sperm go.
Speaker B:I don't understand.
Speaker B:Why did they do that?
Speaker B:Like this.
Speaker B:Does it make sense?
Speaker B:As I.
Speaker B:Because I seen it.
Speaker B:And I'm gonna show that screenshot again.
Speaker B:This is that same.
Speaker B:It's a sperm.
Speaker B:It's a xenomorph sperm.
Speaker B:That's what it is.
Speaker B:That's what that is.
Speaker B:Xenomorph sperm.
Speaker B:I hate.
Speaker B:Hey, at least it's clinically the correct term.
Speaker C:Huge.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker B:But it goes inside the lung.
Speaker B:And I said.
Speaker B:And all I could think of was like, white folks whitening again.
Speaker C:Everything.
Speaker C:Stop touching.
Speaker C:Ain't nobody asked you to go over there and touch that also.
Speaker C:Where's.
Speaker C:What is it?
Speaker C:You tell me.
Speaker C:The other science people.
Speaker B:Oh, Waylon.
Speaker C:Waylon, yeah.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:They haven't shown up yet.
Speaker B:I mean, they.
Speaker B:They've shown up because she.
Speaker B:Because Boy Cavalier called her.
Speaker B:Called the.
Speaker B:The boss and Mr. Morrow, actually.
Speaker B:I think.
Speaker B:Is it.
Speaker B:Is it more.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Actually spoke to her because he was like.
Speaker B:She said.
Speaker B:Oh, you think you're talking to.
Speaker B:I think she said her grandmother or something like that.
Speaker D:Yeah, something like that.
Speaker D:Because.
Speaker B:Because he said he's been gone.
Speaker B:He's been on that.
Speaker B:He's been on that for, like, 65 years.
Speaker B:So he's like.
Speaker B:He asked no one.
Speaker B:You know, so he's.
Speaker B:You know, he was talking to the Granddaughter, you know, when he called in.
Speaker B:So he's not even talking to the same p. He's not dealing with anybody that he knows.
Speaker B:So when Boy Cavalier calls, he says, oh, I'm.
Speaker B:You know, he's like, well, it's on my ship.
Speaker B:Or he said, the ship is on my property, so I'm gonna blah, blah, blah.
Speaker B:And I'm like, just because you want to be greedy.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:You want to be not even greedy.
Speaker C:It's just.
Speaker C:First, you don't even know what the Is on.
Speaker C:He had no clue what the was on there.
Speaker C:None.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:You're not just claiming my billions of dollars worth of investment.
Speaker D:I don't care where it landed.
Speaker B:And they were extremely calm when they didn't.
Speaker B:When they said.
Speaker B:She was extremely calm, because I know she's dealing with the teenager who is outside his realm of.
Speaker B:Of whatever.
Speaker B:And she's just like, yes, that is our property.
Speaker B:I know she's not stupid.
Speaker C:She all.
Speaker C:She also knows what the.
Speaker C:Was coming back on that ship because she knew.
Speaker B:That's why.
Speaker C:They got a.
Speaker C:They got the report that everybody's dead and that we kept the specimens.
Speaker C:So she.
Speaker C:They know.
Speaker C:They were sent to go get those specimens.
Speaker C:They know what that thing is about.
Speaker B:They're just taking their time.
Speaker B:They're just taking her.
Speaker B:She's just taking her time.
Speaker B:She's just like, we'll be the cleanup crew, but they gonna do the work for us.
Speaker C:We ain't gonna have to worry about you in 48 to 72 hours.
Speaker B:That's about.
Speaker B:Because y' all gonna want to contain it, and then you're gonna find out, and it's going to be an area where we can just go ahead and just do what we need to do.
Speaker B:We got a guy on the inside already.
Speaker B:Nobody even knows he's there, you know, so.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:Oh, God, it's gonna be bad.
Speaker C:Oh, God, it's gonna be so bad.
Speaker B:So bad.
Speaker B:But it's good.
Speaker B:It's so bad, but it's good.
Speaker B:So you.
Speaker B:You do have that.
Speaker B:You got Morrow, who is.
Speaker B:He's learning.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:He's a grown man.
Speaker B:Okay?
Speaker B:He's a.
Speaker B:An adult man with a cyborg body.
Speaker B:And he's realizing that these hybrids are children.
Speaker C:It.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:He just.
Speaker B:Because of the way they act and with how they respond, he's just like.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:He's just needing them to say it, you know?
Speaker B:And, you know, what is your name?
Speaker B:Who are you?
Speaker B:Blah, blah, blah.
Speaker B:And then hacking one of their brains.
Speaker D:Listen, the way I know this would not actually help in universe, but I'm just putting myself in.
Speaker D:In his mindset, right?
Speaker D:Random yo, just mid conversation, reached out and touched my neck.
Speaker D:I'm taking all the showers.
Speaker D:Like, I don't know what just happened, but yuck.
Speaker D:What's the Dave Chappelle talking about?
Speaker B:You gonna get a bum.
Speaker C:Bum.
Speaker D:To my neck.
Speaker D:Like, oh, my God, what do you put on me?
Speaker D:Put bum essence on me.
Speaker B:So I don't.
Speaker C:I don't.
Speaker B:He's playing the role he's supposed to play.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He's staying in the shadows and he's hitting it.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He's catching them from the inside, working them from the inside, saying, look, I can get.
Speaker B:I can still stay in the shadows and I can still get the information I need because as he told you, Tommy, my family's gone.
Speaker B:This job is all I've known.
Speaker B:What am I going to do?
Speaker B:Where am I going to go?
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He's a date.
Speaker B:He's a dedicated company man.
Speaker C:Why?
Speaker B:He ain't got nothing.
Speaker B:He ain't got nothing.
Speaker B:He said he has a daughter.
Speaker B:Had a daughter.
Speaker B:It's been 65 years.
Speaker B:We don't know how old the daughter was at the time.
Speaker C:You know, I mean, like.
Speaker C:But what then?
Speaker C:What is your motivation to stay?
Speaker B:He don't know anything else.
Speaker C:I guess.
Speaker B:You don't know.
Speaker B:That man has no.
Speaker B:He has been on a ship for 65 years.
Speaker B:He don't know anything or anyone else.
Speaker B:He's been on that mission for a duration of 65 years.
Speaker C:In the.
Speaker C:The pod things.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:They keep you.
Speaker D:So can you say something about.
Speaker D:He lacks purpose, otherwise.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker D:Completing this mission.
Speaker B:I'm like, hey, bro.
Speaker C:You want to stay alive for this, though?
Speaker D:All of us do.
Speaker D:Do, like, just.
Speaker D:Just join us out here in the free world, man.
Speaker D:We all figured it out together.
Speaker C:Can't you just take up sewing or some.
Speaker C:Like, there's so much more you could be doing, I guess.
Speaker B:He's literally.
Speaker B:He's a company man.
Speaker B:He's literally.
Speaker B:He's like, I ain't got nothing else.
Speaker B:I ain't got nobody to go home to.
Speaker C:See, this is what we're talking about.
Speaker C:Take your pto.
Speaker C:Take your pto.
Speaker C:That company ain't gonna miss you when you.
Speaker C:They got another hybrid.
Speaker C:What is it, Cyborg in the cut somewhere already.
Speaker B:Oh, I'm sure they do.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:I know he's not the only one in the field.
Speaker B:I. I am sure of it.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:So now we know that Wendy took out a xenomorph.
Speaker B:It would have been nice to see that fight.
Speaker B:We just heard it go down.
Speaker B:We would have been nice to see it.
Speaker C:That was cheated.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Save a little money.
Speaker C:Literally a little money.
Speaker B:I need the spongebob theme now.
Speaker B:But the question remains.
Speaker B:Okay, we know Wendy's been around 10 plus years, so she's acclimated to her skill set and everything else, but will that allow the other hybrids to do the same?
Speaker B:Because they taking an awful long damn time to get there.
Speaker B:I mean, she's in quiz.
Speaker B:Inquisitive.
Speaker B:But for the right re.
Speaker B:But for the right path or for the right reasons.
Speaker B:I think it's because even as a child, even in her child body, she was still older.
Speaker B:I think she was slightly older than those kids.
Speaker C:They're all around about this.
Speaker C:Maybe like one or two years.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:So she was like, right.
Speaker B:Me like, these kids are like 10 and 11.
Speaker B:That puts her at 12.
Speaker B:11, 12, maybe.
Speaker C:No, no, no, no.
Speaker C:I think.
Speaker C:I think she's a solid, like at Most.
Speaker C:She was 10.
Speaker C:At most 10.
Speaker B:I'm gonna have to go back and.
Speaker C:Look at that puberty.
Speaker C:Nah, man, Bro, that puberty.
Speaker C:We ain't taking no chance to be 10 and under.
Speaker C:Ain't no way, bro.
Speaker D:Because the other one.
Speaker B:Yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker B:That makes sense.
Speaker B:But could.
Speaker B:Could they.
Speaker B:Could they rebel?
Speaker B:Like, I mean, is she rebelling?
Speaker C:I need.
Speaker C:I need to talk about episode three.
Speaker C:I need to talk about episode three.
Speaker C:Can you please talk about episode three?
Speaker C:Talk about it because it's all in that episode.
Speaker C:All of that grow.
Speaker C:All that Question is in that episode.
Speaker D:You shut your mouth.
Speaker C:It lets you know it's.
Speaker C:It's getting real in the field for them out there.
Speaker C:You.
Speaker C:You.
Speaker B:All I know is somebody has already started to go off the deep end.
Speaker B:I already know that.
Speaker C:Mary.
Speaker C:Mary, baby, you are not married.
Speaker C:You ain't married.
Speaker C:Did you see episode four yet?
Speaker B:The redhead?
Speaker B:Because I caught part.
Speaker B:I only seen half of it.
Speaker B:I only seen half of it.
Speaker D:Okay, wait, I thought Mary was the girl asking all the questions.
Speaker C:Know, I'm.
Speaker C:I'm using that as.
Speaker C:As.
Speaker C:As a. Oh, there's a reason I'm using that name in particular.
Speaker D:Oh, you'll.
Speaker C:You'll get.
Speaker C:When you get there, you get there.
Speaker B:I'll just.
Speaker B:I'll just say this.
Speaker B:Oh, you done.
Speaker C:I think I asked this question.
Speaker C:I think I.
Speaker C:Where.
Speaker C:Who has the kill switch, please?
Speaker C:Somebody has to have the switch.
Speaker C:It's got.
Speaker B:Wait, I need that.
Speaker B:Look, I put it to you like this.
Speaker B:Bam.
Speaker B:I caught it up to this point.
Speaker B:When the therapist calls the People in.
Speaker B:And like, she normally does and still plays it cool and then turns around and says, take her to a room.
Speaker B:Lock her down.
Speaker B:Lock the room down.
Speaker C:Scenario number three.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Is this the one jealous of Wendy?
Speaker B:That's a different one.
Speaker B:Like, she.
Speaker B:When you say deep, and I'm like, what did.
Speaker B:Like, do you guys look for any.
Speaker B:Any triggers?
Speaker B:Because this one.
Speaker B:Yeah, this.
Speaker B:This one ain't gonna make it.
Speaker B:And if she finds out exactly what she can do.
Speaker B:Oh.
Speaker C:It'S like, oh, oh, okay.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:All right.
Speaker C:What do you.
Speaker C:Anything else that you have, any other problems that you want to bring up today?
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:All right, well, let's go get you some iced tea and a cookie.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker B:I was.
Speaker B:I. I actually.
Speaker B:Actually nodded off after that.
Speaker B:But, yeah, I was.
Speaker B:That's first.
Speaker B:Last thing I remember was like, oh, she's a problem.
Speaker D:Oh, quick question.
Speaker D:In episode four, do they explain the person spraying the stuff on the wall?
Speaker C:No.
Speaker D:Damn it.
Speaker C:Oh.
Speaker B:I just took that person as just being sanitation.
Speaker D:Some severance level.
Speaker D:Like, why is this person here?
Speaker D:We just gonna pretend like this is a normal job that you do.
Speaker D:So all day, you just spray the wall.
Speaker C:One spot.
Speaker C:It's not like he's moving along.
Speaker C:It's literally just one spot.
Speaker B:That could be.
Speaker B:But I will say this.
Speaker B:At least Timothy Oliphant's character figured out that not to have any kind of biological matter near these eggs.
Speaker B:Because I'm like, oh, somebody is smart.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:He's figured it out.
Speaker B:He said, nope, nobody goes in here.
Speaker B:Anybody human will not be allowed in this room.
Speaker B:He said, you report, boy.
Speaker B:Cavalier said, you report straight to me.
Speaker B:It was like, nope, you can.
Speaker C:You can get in there if you want to, but you're not coming out.
Speaker B:So figured it out.
Speaker B:Figured it out.
Speaker C:So also, wait, did he not.
Speaker C:Did he not pay attention to.
Speaker C:I caught this.
Speaker C:He can.
Speaker C:He knows.
Speaker C:Is that episode two or three where he's talking to the boy?
Speaker C:Where Morrow's talking to one of the.
Speaker C:The hybrids?
Speaker C:That's three.
Speaker D:Three.
Speaker B:It's three, and then it leads into four.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:I'm.
Speaker C:Shut up.
Speaker C:All right.
Speaker C:Never mind.
Speaker C:Go about.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He's already worked.
Speaker B:Morrow's already working that one.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He's working him.
Speaker B:He was just like, He.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:Out of the two that he met, he immediately, immediately knew.
Speaker B:You're the weaker of the two.
Speaker B:I' ma work you.
Speaker B:I already know.
Speaker B:I ain't gonna mess with the brother.
Speaker B:I'm.
Speaker B:I'm gonna mess with you, though.
Speaker C:You go, you big Man, I know you gonna tell boss man immediately, immediately.
Speaker C:Because I tell boss man immediately.
Speaker B:Like.
Speaker B:But you.
Speaker D:Start talking to me in my brain, I'm telling everyone immediately, immediately.
Speaker D:Like, this bum touched me, and now I can hear him in my head.
Speaker D:Help, please.
Speaker B:That's the problem with these hybrids.
Speaker B:They don't.
Speaker B:They don't speak up.
Speaker B:The one that's working with.
Speaker B:With Timothy only fan.
Speaker B:He don't talk at all.
Speaker B:All.
Speaker B:He's like us.
Speaker B:He's like another science officer.
Speaker B:He's more inquisitive on.
Speaker B:He was the one that was looking at the plant.
Speaker B:He was the one that just kept looking at the plant and was just.
Speaker C:Like, what is it?
Speaker B:Yeah, and then.
Speaker B:And then it.
Speaker B:It sprouts, and he just.
Speaker B:I'm like.
Speaker B:So you're not gonna say anything?
Speaker B:You're just gonna look at it?
Speaker B:Like, I get that it's not going to attack you because it's ain't got nothing to gain from it, but he.
Speaker C:Don'T know that at that moment in time.
Speaker B:No, he don't.
Speaker B:No, he don't.
Speaker B:But he's.
Speaker B:I mean, he's facing off with it.
Speaker B:I'm like, nobody else in the room sees this.
Speaker B:Like, nobody's okay.
Speaker B:All right?
Speaker B:So ignore it.
Speaker C:Oh, wait.
Speaker C:My point.
Speaker C:My point was Timmy Oliphant character knows that that boy is talking to Marrow.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:Nothing gets past him.
Speaker B:Nothing really gets past him.
Speaker C:I think he.
Speaker C:I think he's connected to these hybrids.
Speaker C:Yeah, shut up.
Speaker C:I know.
Speaker C:I think he's connected to these hybrids.
Speaker C:I'm doing my nails.
Speaker C:Shut the up.
Speaker C:Nobody asked you.
Speaker C:Stop talking.
Speaker C:Stop listening so hard.
Speaker C:S. I think he knows.
Speaker C:And he see, he's.
Speaker C:He's doing another experiment by seeing how well.
Speaker C:And a trap, probably, because that kid.
Speaker C:Now, he got to go.
Speaker C:He's telling secrets.
Speaker C:You gotta go.
Speaker C:I think he's waiting to see it.
Speaker C:How far he will get in with Moro or to see if he can lure Moro into that camp of theirs, into that building.
Speaker B:Yeah, he's not getting nothing's.
Speaker B:Nothing too much is getting past him.
Speaker B:He's very calm, very collected.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:He's gathering his information before he enacts on anything.
Speaker B:And he.
Speaker B:And when he enacts on anything, he's not going overboard with it.
Speaker B:Like, he's.
Speaker B:He's moving differently.
Speaker B:He was, you know, when they first got on the ship and he found out, oh, like, there's this big eyeball thing on the thing.
Speaker B:He's just like, oh, yeah.
Speaker B:And then he looks at the computer screen.
Speaker B:He's like, you know what?
Speaker B:Let me find out what's over here.
Speaker B:Let me find out what's on this ship before we go any further.
Speaker B:You keep that right there.
Speaker B:Don't move.
Speaker B:And he just downloads information.
Speaker B:And you're like, okay, I'm gonna report to Cavalier over here and let him know what's going on.
Speaker B:And then.
Speaker B:And literally tell him, I don't think that's a good idea that you should be in this room with me.
Speaker B:You stay outside this room.
Speaker C:Mind your business.
Speaker B:He's like.
Speaker B:He's literally.
Speaker B:What are you doing?
Speaker B:I'm keeping you outside this room.
Speaker B:He didn't even tell him, get out.
Speaker B:It was a very like, get the.
Speaker D:Hell out of here.
Speaker B:Shut the door.
Speaker B:What are you doing?
Speaker B:This thing is picking up biological matter.
Speaker B:If anything is in it, I notice it moves.
Speaker B:Like, who's the leader here?
Speaker D:Only all the science people were allowed to talk to the money that way.
Speaker B:And just, oh, we'd be in a much different place right now.
Speaker D:Oh, what's a fantastical world they've made?
Speaker C:Yeah, you probably have the flying damn cars by now.
Speaker B:Oh, something.
Speaker C:Where's my goddamn call, Bruce?
Speaker B:That line shout out to Alan Tudyk.
Speaker B:But, yeah, we're gonna.
Speaker B:So I'm looking forward to doing episode four, and I'm gonna actually give that a re.
Speaker B:Watch probably later tonight or tomorrow.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:Because some things that happen and.
Speaker B:And I'm like, okay, yeah, you said.
Speaker B:I think they said it's eight episodes.
Speaker B:So, yeah, if it's eight, that means, yeah, fourth episode.
Speaker B:It's got to start.
Speaker B:Stuff started has got to amp up.
Speaker B:Stuff got to get revealed.
Speaker C:I wonder how much they're gonna try to make, how far they're gonna take this series.
Speaker C:Like, are they gonna try.
Speaker C:Are they aiming to go for three seasons, like, just before Ripley shows up?
Speaker C:Because that.
Speaker C:That would be wild.
Speaker B:There's that.
Speaker B:And then, like.
Speaker B:Like, we have a Predator movie getting ready to drop in the fall.
Speaker B:We don't know where this is going.
Speaker B:I'm actually kind of glad that we don't know where it's going, you know?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Like, you can.
Speaker B:You can give me three seasons.
Speaker B:You can give me a lead in.
Speaker B:Into another film.
Speaker B:I.
Speaker B:At this point, the last.
Speaker B:The last two Predator projects and the last Alien project have been exemplary.
Speaker B:They've been fantastic.
Speaker B:And I'm.
Speaker B:I'm.
Speaker B:I'm like, yo, like, I said that that last movie, I'm like, oh, jump scare.
Speaker B:That never happens with me.
Speaker B:I'm glad you were able to pull that off.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker B:I'll Never look at face huggers the same again.
Speaker B:They're not supposed to move that fast.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Oh, not.
Speaker C:What is it?
Speaker C:Romulus?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah, that.
Speaker B:That was.
Speaker B:That jumps.
Speaker B:I was just.
Speaker B:Oh, that was literally like.
Speaker B:Oh, damn.
Speaker B:No, no, it's.
Speaker B:It.
Speaker B:It.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker B:And I said it was all of y'.
Speaker C:All.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:Not one.
Speaker B:Several of them.
Speaker B:So I. I'm.
Speaker B:I'm looking forward to see what else they have next.
Speaker B:We're gonna take another quick break.
Speaker B:When we come back, we are talking about Peacemaker.
Speaker B:Season two, Episode one.
Speaker B:This is gonna be something.
Speaker B:We'll be right back.
Speaker B:It Blurd's eye view is a proud affiliate of Otaku Noir.
Speaker B:Use the code blurred's eye view for 10% off on all items with a different nerd themed box filled with items made by talented blurds across the country.
Speaker B:You surely will not be disappointed.
Speaker B:Go to attack on the attack on the war.
Speaker B:The number one blurred mystery box company.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Season two, episode one of Peacemaker.
Speaker B:Damn.
Speaker B:Chris Smith.
Speaker B:Yeesh.
Speaker B:This dude.
Speaker B:So much is going on.
Speaker B:So much is going on.
Speaker B:Fresh off the last season, Them taking care of the whole Butterfly project.
Speaker B:Butterfly situation.
Speaker B:And Peacemaker going in to be interviewed by the Justice Gang.
Speaker C:God damn.
Speaker B:To join the team, which we already knew that was not gonna go well regardless.
Speaker C:They have.
Speaker C:They've already got one on the team.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know, that's.
Speaker B:That's too much going on.
Speaker B:It's too much going on.
Speaker B:But that scene alone.
Speaker B:First off, Sean Gunn not realizing the microphone was on the entire time.
Speaker B:Hawk girl, you're in the clear.
Speaker B:Because all she wanted was some popcorn.
Speaker B:She.
Speaker B:She didn't talk trash about anybody.
Speaker B:For those who are.
Speaker B:Who are.
Speaker B:Who are itching to have Batman show up.
Speaker B:Number one, shut up.
Speaker B:Number two, we have several mentions of Gotham between Superman and Peacemaker.
Speaker B:Just.
Speaker B:Just.
Speaker C:It's just relax.
Speaker C:Call me tits.
Speaker B:He's going to be there.
Speaker B:It's fine.
Speaker B:You know, we don't.
Speaker B:Oh, and creature commandos.
Speaker B:Because he shows up.
Speaker B:We don't know how he looks.
Speaker B:We just seen the shadow by that.
Speaker B:I say, who was the first person we see running out crying?
Speaker B:White rabbit.
Speaker B:Who is a Batman character?
Speaker B:Yeah, that.
Speaker B:That she is a Batman character.
Speaker D:The girl with the big hoo.
Speaker C:Ha.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:Correct.
Speaker D:That's not what she was asking.
Speaker D:Sorry.
Speaker C:No, not the identifying marker.
Speaker D:That's what they said.
Speaker B:That.
Speaker B:That's what.
Speaker B:That's what Maxwell Lord said.
Speaker B:He was like, oh, did she hear me say about how big her camel toe was?
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker B:How many times I mentioned it, I'm like, dude, yeah.
Speaker B:Like so.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Them having Peacemaker join their team, that would have made a third.
Speaker B:It just would not.
Speaker B:That's just too much going on in the room.
Speaker B:But does not.
Speaker B:That interview does not go well for Chris for so many reasons.
Speaker B:And it's not even him.
Speaker B:It's how the justice game.
Speaker B:Well, it's how.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's how Guy and.
Speaker B:And Maxwell Lord are talking.
Speaker B:It's not so much Hawk girl, she's just like, why am I filling this paper out?
Speaker B:I need some popcorn.
Speaker B:And then there's this whole popcorn conversation.
Speaker B:She's like, look, it's.
Speaker B:It's low calories.
Speaker B:It stops my butt from getting big.
Speaker B:And then here come Guy.
Speaker B:Well, I wish I could have a big butt.
Speaker B:I. I'm naked.
Speaker B:I just get a line and I'm like, I didn't need that visual, thank you very much.
Speaker D:Hank Hill.
Speaker D:Cave.
Speaker B:Said, it's just a line.
Speaker B:I'm like, oh.
Speaker B:But then they start digging into stuff.
Speaker B:You know, he's like, I'm an expert marksman hand to hand combat.
Speaker B:And then he started talking about.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He literally starts talking about the trauma from his childhood a little bit.
Speaker B:It.
Speaker B:It just goes downhill quick in the fact that he can hear everything they say.
Speaker C:And not really respond to it.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker C:It's a little dead inside there, Chris saying, you okay?
Speaker B:You know, I mean, they weren't wrong when they were saying, you know, prone to bouts of.
Speaker B:Of.
Speaker B:Of violence.
Speaker B:And when Maxwell Lord asked me like, how many people did you kill?
Speaker B:And I was like, okay, he's raising a good point.
Speaker B:This ain't your fit right here.
Speaker B:This ain't your fit.
Speaker D:So Bama wants us to talk about how they retcon the Snyderverse.
Speaker B:Oh, it is a very distance.
Speaker B:It was a very interesting choice by Mr.
Speaker B:Gun.
Speaker C:I mean, he, He.
Speaker C:He.
Speaker C:It feels like he knew what was gonna happen at the end of season one before all of the things.
Speaker C:It's as if he had a meeting with the heads of Warner Brothers before he came up.
Speaker B:It's kind of why we only seen Superman in the shadows and the only people we've seen was Aquaman and Flash having a discussion.
Speaker C:That changed too.
Speaker C:I'm not really.
Speaker B:I'm not upset with.
Speaker B:I mean, yeah, they.
Speaker B:I mean, even the recap in itself, I'm like, I don't remember that scene.
Speaker B:It was like at least three different scenes.
Speaker B:And I'm like, I don't remember that scene.
Speaker B:I don't remember that scene.
Speaker C:Oh, you can do whatever you want because it's your baby.
Speaker C:You literally can do whatever.
Speaker B:I mean, if he can literally come out and say, hey, remember when they had the Flash movie and Barry up the timeline?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:I mean, but he did.
Speaker B:But yeah, this, that's that movie left.
Speaker B:It may not be part of this humaniverse, but Barry did tear up the timeline.
Speaker D:I appreciate that.
Speaker D:He just did it and moved on.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker B:He said, we are not spending all that time on it.
Speaker B:It's here now.
Speaker C:We're just.
Speaker C:Here's, here's the puzzle.
Speaker C:It's gone.
Speaker C:Now let's start over.
Speaker C:It's missing pieces.
Speaker D:What I like about it as well is that we had that very wholesome, nice, good guy Superman, and he's part of making an appearance in here, even though he's in shadow.
Speaker D:But, you know, that's supposed to be him.
Speaker D:And Peacemaker's still like you, like, he's still on 12.
Speaker D:And so this universe, it's showing us, we're.
Speaker D:We're still going to get our TVMA or our R rated and our PG PG 13s and it is going to be one universe.
Speaker B:That's it.
Speaker B:They're just on two different spectrums.
Speaker B:That's it.
Speaker B:The fact that he has Superman, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl and Supergirl in that scene and I'm like, oh, you didn't change one.
Speaker B:You changed everybody not mad at it.
Speaker C:Continue, by all means, continue.
Speaker B:Like we already know.
Speaker B:You could not you.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker B:There was not much you could salvage from the last universe.
Speaker B:We already know.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker C:And that's okay.
Speaker C:Yes, that is.
Speaker B:Oh, you picked new characters and you kept one actor and you moved on so well.
Speaker B:Actually, no, you took a character because that was Blue Beetle.
Speaker B:You didn't have to work.
Speaker B:Blue Beetle was in this universe.
Speaker B:We just.
Speaker B:He's already, he announced that after the movie was released, he's like, oh, no, Blue, blue, Blue beetles are part of my universe.
Speaker C:You know, because they did it right.
Speaker C:That's the one.
Speaker C:Well, now, I don't want to say like that and it's downward spiral into the meth den that it started.
Speaker C:That was the one shining piece of material they had left.
Speaker B:Yeah, it was so it, it worked.
Speaker B:It worked in their favor in guns favor.
Speaker B:So I'm, I'm okay with that.
Speaker C:But they will.
Speaker D:No, I was just thinking like that'd be a good show one day when we don't have nothing else going on, just a retrospective on the dceu because it was so hot and cold.
Speaker D:It was just man.
Speaker B:And you know, the one who you.
Speaker B:The one person who really Caught hell on the back end of.
Speaker B:It was Aquaman.
Speaker B:The second one was not it.
Speaker B:It was just like the first one.
Speaker C:Wait a minute.
Speaker B:No, because it.
Speaker B:It wasn't bad.
Speaker B:It wasn't horrible.
Speaker C:A minute now.
Speaker C:I love Jason.
Speaker C:Look away, baby.
Speaker C:I love me some Jason Momo.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:Cheaper.
Speaker C:I said it.
Speaker C:He cheap war.
Speaker C:All day, all night.
Speaker C:Let the Mort have mercy.
Speaker C:God bless his mother and his father.
Speaker C:I just.
Speaker C:Aquaman.
Speaker C:Did it stink?
Speaker B:No, but that's what I'm saying.
Speaker C:As good as the first one.
Speaker B:No, it.
Speaker B:Because it didn't.
Speaker B:It didn't stink.
Speaker B:It didn't stink.
Speaker B:Especially after you've seen Wonder Woman 84.
Speaker B:You're like, what the hell is going on?
Speaker B:And then you get Flash and you're like, good Lord.
Speaker B:And then you came in like.
Speaker B:By that time, what was it?
Speaker B:It was Wonder Woman 84.
Speaker C:Don't be mean.
Speaker B:Don't forget Black Adam.
Speaker B:And then Flash.
Speaker B:And it was just like Aquaman had to come follow behind those three.
Speaker D:We got two Shazam movies out of that universe.
Speaker B:Oh, God.
Speaker D:Madness that we didn't get.
Speaker D:Amanda Steel too.
Speaker B:They did convey.
Speaker B:So damn dirty.
Speaker B:I think he might have a chance still, though, as far as being in this universe as something else.
Speaker D:No.
Speaker D:You burned that bridge on me twice.
Speaker C:Like, twice.
Speaker C:In public.
Speaker C:In public.
Speaker B:They did burn that bridge twice.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And one of them was on his birthday.
Speaker B:I swear to God.
Speaker B:You don't have a job.
Speaker B:You do know it's my birthday today, right?
Speaker B:We don't give.
Speaker B:I don't care.
Speaker C:Look, it's your fault.
Speaker C:You were born on that day.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:No, but it.
Speaker B:It's definitely for Aquaman to follow those three.
Speaker B:And it was.
Speaker B:That was a.
Speaker B:A massive spiral, like, and it wasn't even fair.
Speaker B:Like, really.
Speaker B:Flash was supposed to come out a year earlier.
Speaker B:It was supposed to come out a year earlier, you know.
Speaker B:And I'm like, yeah, I don't think that would have made much differ difference.
Speaker C:When your star is on the lamb out here holding people hostage, letting babies put bullets in their mouths.
Speaker C:Are you?
Speaker C:I. I will.
Speaker C:I will.
Speaker B:Breaking and entering.
Speaker C:I will go down.
Speaker C:Every single thing that that man did.
Speaker C:And he's still out in the streets amongst the public.
Speaker C:He is still out here.
Speaker B:Well, please, let's talk.
Speaker B:But.
Speaker B:But please let's talk about Jonathan Majors.
Speaker B:No, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker C:Was he didn't run faster.
Speaker B:That's it.
Speaker B:Some damn loafers.
Speaker C:Sorry.
Speaker C:I'm sorry.
Speaker C:I'm Joe.
Speaker C:I am so very much joking.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker C:That was funny.
Speaker C:Y' all that was.
Speaker B:No, no, black folks know it was funny.
Speaker B:We ain't playing no bunnies.
Speaker B:Never.
Speaker D:Black queens forever.
Speaker B:You know now he knows now.
Speaker B:Found out a little late.
Speaker B:But you know now what they say, like he.
Speaker B:He slow.
Speaker B:He's slow to get it.
Speaker B:How Kevin Hart say on the 40 year old virgin?
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:Oh boy.
Speaker B:Not.
Speaker B:Not kidding.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Romany Malcolm, he was like, he's slow to get it.
Speaker B:But he catching on now.
Speaker B:But yeah, for that movie to come on the tail end of all of that, it.
Speaker B:It wasn't a stinker.
Speaker B:It was actually watchable.
Speaker B:It wasn't.
Speaker B:It wasn't the other three.
Speaker C:It was not.
Speaker C:I agree with you there.
Speaker C:It was not the other three.
Speaker B:Because I'm just like.
Speaker B:Shazam was pretty much cut and paste.
Speaker B:But by that time the.
Speaker B:The was cut and paste and do it again.
Speaker B:And then by that time, I think that came out.
Speaker B:What, after Shazam.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:Did it?
Speaker B:Yeah, I think it did, yeah.
Speaker C:Oh, Aquaman you're talking about.
Speaker B:No, no.
Speaker B:Shazam came out after Black Adam did it.
Speaker C:No, I think so.
Speaker C:No, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker C:Black Adam was like the last one.
Speaker C:I think it was Shazam to Black Adam.
Speaker C:And then Flash, if I remember.
Speaker C:No, Shazam.
Speaker C:Flash.
Speaker C:Black Adam, if I remember correctly.
Speaker C:It don't matter.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, it did.
Speaker C:It truly don't.
Speaker B:But anyway.
Speaker C:Here we are on the other side.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Finally.
Speaker B:So Peacemaker, he.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He leaves out of his interview defeated.
Speaker B:Edebayo is.
Speaker B:Is.
Speaker B:They're still friends, but she's been kicked out of her house for airing out all the dirty laundry that her mama did.
Speaker B:What did you want her to do.
Speaker C:Out of her house because she was doing with her moms.
Speaker C:That's why she got kicked out.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Because.
Speaker B:Because her wife didn't know.
Speaker B:Her wife didn't know.
Speaker C:Correct.
Speaker B:And just.
Speaker B:Ma', am, I'm like, she.
Speaker B:It's her mama.
Speaker B:It's kind of you want a nice place to stay, but ain't no jobs in Metropolis that's gonna pay me.
Speaker B:And I gotta do what I gotta do.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Edabiles dealing with some stuff.
Speaker B:She's been kicked out.
Speaker B:She's apparently.
Speaker B:She's apparently staying in the hotel in Gotham, which.
Speaker C:No, no, no.
Speaker B:Or is it.
Speaker B:Or is it?
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:They originally.
Speaker C:They originally were from Gotham.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:Left there.
Speaker C:She's on the outskirts of some town now.
Speaker C:Or with the hotel, right?
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, something like that.
Speaker B:You know, even economists is like, where the hell are you staying?
Speaker B:I'm like, where's she staying at Crime Alley?
Speaker B:What is.
Speaker B:Where is she staying?
Speaker C:Yuck.
Speaker B:Hardcore is severely violent.
Speaker B:I'm gonna say this.
Speaker B:That woman was whooping they ass.
Speaker C:What a.
Speaker C:What a.
Speaker B:She was giving them the business for a little bit.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I think, honestly, I think with everything that she was dealing with, if you see her with her therapist and she's.
Speaker B:And she lays it out there, she's like, I have done everything my job in this country has asked me to do.
Speaker B:I'm like, this is John Walker speech all over again.
Speaker B:She's done everything that the government and her job.
Speaker B:She's been with the CIA, the nsa, and now Amanda Wallace people.
Speaker B:She did everything she was supposed to do.
Speaker B:What am I supposed to do now?
Speaker B:I have no.
Speaker B:No job.
Speaker B:I have nothing.
Speaker B:Once again, take that, pto.
Speaker D:Just want to feel alive.
Speaker C:Mayhem.
Speaker C:I need you to say your words out loud.
Speaker C:Mayhem.
Speaker C:Don't be afraid.
Speaker C:Just.
Speaker C:Why you be a keyboard warrior?
Speaker C:Say that out loud.
Speaker D:I just, you know, I. I appreciate one of the familiar and caucus type just going to therapy.
Speaker C:That's.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker D:That's beautiful.
Speaker D:Because, you know.
Speaker C:I'm not.
Speaker C:I'm not gonna say what he said in the chat because y' all need to be here when it's live.
Speaker C:Because this right here, he be on some real.
Speaker C:He be.
Speaker C:He'd be wild.
Speaker C:He'd be wilding in the chat, y'.
Speaker C:All.
Speaker B:Hey, keeps it lively.
Speaker B:Keeps them on their toes.
Speaker B:But no, it's good that she's in therapy, but because she's airing it out, you know, she's right.
Speaker B:Everything she said was right, but now she's got.
Speaker B:She's got all this pent up aggression.
Speaker C:Who is she mad at?
Speaker C:Like, on some real.
Speaker C:Like, who is she actually mad at?
Speaker B:That's the good question.
Speaker B:Is she mad at.
Speaker B:Is she mad at a bio.
Speaker B:Is she.
Speaker B:Is she mad at Amanda Waller?
Speaker B:Is she mad at Peacemaker?
Speaker B:Who Is she mad.
Speaker B:Is she mad at herself?
Speaker B:Is it all the above?
Speaker C:All this and more on future episodes of Peacemaker.
Speaker B:You see, she ain't got no beef towards economos.
Speaker B:He was just like, I'm stuck in his damn truck watching Peacemaker for the past God knows how long.
Speaker C:I mean, she might.
Speaker B:She could consider the fact he still has a job.
Speaker C:He still.
Speaker C:He still has a job.
Speaker C:He's.
Speaker C:He's.
Speaker C:Sir.
Speaker C:He's literally survived not one, but two.
Speaker B:Karen in crisis.
Speaker C:Be like Mal Mayhem.
Speaker D:It might.
Speaker D:She might be upset that black lady won't let her have no job.
Speaker D:And no one feels oppression quite like a white woman.
Speaker B:That will not be the Screen capture.
Speaker C:I did ask for that.
Speaker C:I did ask for that.
Speaker C:That is fair.
Speaker C:That's fair.
Speaker C:Okay, so that's them coming for you.
Speaker B:So you got Peacemaker back at his house.
Speaker B:Well, his.
Speaker B:It's his house now.
Speaker B:He's not at the trailer park anymore.
Speaker B:He's.
Speaker B:He had his.
Speaker B:His father's house, the family home.
Speaker B:And gets completely blue to the moon.
Speaker B:Drugs galore.
Speaker B:I was not expecting the full blown out orgy.
Speaker B:I'm just saying that.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker C:Was on display, celebrating this.
Speaker C:I am not celebrating this.
Speaker D:Are you sure?
Speaker C:If I can I.
Speaker C:From the looks of it.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:From the looks from what was.
Speaker C:What was offered up.
Speaker C:Absolutely not.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's one of the.
Speaker B:It's one of the times where I'm like, oh, titty surprise.
Speaker B:Wasn't expecting it.
Speaker B:Wait, hold on.
Speaker B:I. I didn't ask for all of this.
Speaker C:But see, ladies, I know for those of us that enjoy, you know, a nice little peeing show every once in a while, you know, it's all right.
Speaker C:It's all right.
Speaker C:You know, I'm glad.
Speaker C:You know, a little.
Speaker C:You know, for those that enjoy the bush and P display, I'm glad that's for y' all too.
Speaker C:I don't need that much at all.
Speaker C:I don't need that much at all.
Speaker B:Put it perfectly.
Speaker B:So much.
Speaker B:So much bush and peen.
Speaker B:It's the new.
Speaker B:It's the new baked bean flavor from baked beans.
Speaker C:It is not.
Speaker C:It is not.
Speaker C:I don't.
Speaker C:I don't.
Speaker C:I have.
Speaker C:If y'.
Speaker C:All for men specifically, if y' all like tits this much.
Speaker C:I. I don't understand how y' all could possibly.
Speaker C:If they.
Speaker C:I don't know.
Speaker C:I. I don't know what I'm saying.
Speaker C:It was a lot.
Speaker C:It was a lot.
Speaker C:Weeping willows.
Speaker C:Are you going Harry Potter or are you going nature?
Speaker C:Because willow is way different.
Speaker C:Way different.
Speaker C:And there were only two that I saw.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker C:I need you.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker C:If.
Speaker C:Wait, we couldn't even get that on the boys.
Speaker C:And there's a whole comic issue about that on the boys.
Speaker B:Gun said, I see you boys.
Speaker B:I'm raising you because in the boys.
Speaker D:Something traumatic has to happen once you get it.
Speaker D:Like you're gonna get a full frontal peen shot and then it's gonna explode.
Speaker B:He's right.
Speaker D:No, he's horse something as mother's milk is incoming.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:He's not wrong.
Speaker B:That's a fair assessment.
Speaker D:Like that.
Speaker D:You like that?
Speaker D:Now we've melted it with lava.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Or there's a blender involved.
Speaker C:Somehow.
Speaker B:There'S so much.
Speaker C:Sorry, sorry, sorry.
Speaker B:So much that goes on.
Speaker B:But I, I wasn't expecting that full blown that whole scene at all.
Speaker B:At all.
Speaker B:Which further tells me like, yeah, Peacemaker, you were not meant for the justice gang.
Speaker B:There's no way you are not the fit for that crew.
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker C:I feel like Guy Gardner would have felt right at home in that situation.
Speaker C:I think he would have been fine.
Speaker C:They might have told.
Speaker C:They might have asked him to leave.
Speaker C:We.
Speaker C:We're not trying.
Speaker C:We're not into all that.
Speaker B:Oh, he's like, not a word to anyone.
Speaker B:Hey, she's pretty reserved.
Speaker B:You never know.
Speaker B:But he.
Speaker B:Chris gets up in the midst of all this wildness and he goes to that interdimensional closet that his father has.
Speaker B:Who would have thought a racist would have had this much tech in this room in his house.
Speaker B:I.
Speaker D:Weird statement here.
Speaker D:Cough.
Speaker B:That is his father was a full blown house rapist racist.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And everything is so.
Speaker B:But he's staring off into the whole thing because earlier in the episode he goes in there because he has a lit eagly out.
Speaker B:It's snowing outside.
Speaker B:Was like, I'm not letting you out.
Speaker B:I'm putting you indoors.
Speaker B:And earlier in the episode when he goes in there while he's just roaming around, you see alien.
Speaker B:Alien.
Speaker B:No, it's not Martian Manhunter or it's not a Martian period.
Speaker B:It's a different type of alien.
Speaker B:I can't remember the name it was but Gun gave it a name.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's chaotic.
Speaker B:I think it was a chaotic alien or something.
Speaker C:The.
Speaker C:Is that okay?
Speaker B:He made it up.
Speaker B:I'm running with it.
Speaker B:So that doesn't speak back when Chris says hi, he.
Speaker B:He, you know, immediately pisses him off and calls him a disrespectful and everything else.
Speaker B:At which point he's looking for eagly because it's been a while.
Speaker B:It's been a few minutes, you know.
Speaker B:And he finally tracks him down and he's at a door that looks like his door, but it's not his door.
Speaker B:And he has the whole keyboard and everything.
Speaker B:He opens it up.
Speaker B:Totally different house.
Speaker B:And who does he see?
Speaker C:Pappy.
Speaker B:Which was enough to freak him the.
Speaker C:Hell out, not enough to make him leave.
Speaker B:No, he didn't.
Speaker B:Because after the orgy or during the orgy, he goes back to this room or.
Speaker B:And he goes back in there.
Speaker B:Which economos picks it up on his.
Speaker B:On his end and Rick Flag is calling in and I can't remember the detective I can't remember her name offhand, but she's also a Batman character.
Speaker B:She's been in the Batman universe.
Speaker B:I can't remember her name right now, but it's not Montoya.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's another cop.
Speaker B:It's not Montoya.
Speaker B:No, no, it's not Montoya.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:But she's also been in the Batman universe.
Speaker B:So you.
Speaker B:You guys are crying about seeing Bruce.
Speaker B:Just wait.
Speaker B:Just wait.
Speaker B:But he goes back to this same door, goes in that room, goes.
Speaker B:Sees the.
Speaker B:What is it called?
Speaker B:The Fantastic Trio, which is another Peacemaker.
Speaker D:Top trio or something.
Speaker B:Top trailer.
Speaker B:Yeah, he's Peacemaker.
Speaker B:Another Peacemaker, his father.
Speaker B:And the other person is actually his brother.
Speaker B:I can't remember that character that he's supposed to be.
Speaker B:But they saved Gotham from some stuff.
Speaker B:They.
Speaker B:They have all these accolades and warts and.
Speaker B:And trophies from battles fought.
Speaker B:They are the good guys of the good guys.
Speaker B:He goes outside because you don't know who that third person is.
Speaker B:He goes outside and it's his brother pulling up in the truck.
Speaker B:And this.
Speaker B:He's like his brother Keith.
Speaker B:And he's freaking out.
Speaker B:Freaked out that his dad seen him earlier.
Speaker B:And now he's freaking out that his brother is still alive.
Speaker B:And it's throwing him.
Speaker B:It's throwing him for a loop.
Speaker B:And then the dad comes to the front door and he was like, oh, well, the.
Speaker B:The trio was back together again.
Speaker B:Let's have a drink.
Speaker B:Just a family unit.
Speaker B:And Peacemaker does not know what to do.
Speaker B:He's high, he's drunk, and he's stunned all at the same time of everything that's happening right now, now.
Speaker B:And the whole conversation, father and son sitting down, bonding and having a drink.
Speaker B:And it's blowing his mind because this is so far, it's completely opposite of.
Speaker C:What he came up with, what he's been exposed to.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:And it's.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's that little.
Speaker C:That little him touching, like, the side.
Speaker B:That was improvised.
Speaker B:They said that scene was in that part of.
Speaker B:That part of the scene when he walks.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:I love you part was in the script.
Speaker B:But him grabbing his ear, that was like a special improv touch.
Speaker B:It was like a touchless.
Speaker B:You know, he loves his sons.
Speaker B:He's not like.
Speaker B:He's not like the other counterpart at all.
Speaker B:And that dude's mind is blown right now.
Speaker D:This gotta be trauma and grief on a scale that's.
Speaker B:That.
Speaker D:That's unimaginable.
Speaker D:It's like he, as much of a piece of his dad was he was still upset that he had to kill his dad.
Speaker D:And he was def.
Speaker D:Like his whole thing, the way that he is is I, I want peace and don't matter how many men, women and children, I have to kill to get it.
Speaker D:That's because of what happened with his brother.
Speaker D:So now being in the space to be with his brother that he, he never got that opportunity to grow up with his brother and have this sit down this bonding moment with his father.
Speaker D:All of, all of this together.
Speaker D:That's so much for a human to take in in one evening.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:At the.
Speaker B:Especially in the state that he's in.
Speaker B:And even when he says that line he's like I'll kill everybody to no matter for peace, no matter how many I have to kill to get it.
Speaker B:He's even said that when he was in front of the Justice Day, he said I'm starting to rethink that whole dynamic.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know, and here, here we are.
Speaker B:And to be hit in so many ways like that in the, in the inebriated state that he's in and to hear the word I love you from not just his father, but his alive brother.
Speaker B:And there was no kind of negative discourse or, or, or hate speech or anything.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:The breakdown.
Speaker B:That man lost it.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker B:He couldn't do nothing else but cry.
Speaker B:That was his safe space.
Speaker C:It was, it was his dream.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:And his brother's crime fighting name is Captain Triumph.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Peacemaker.
Speaker B:Captain Triumph.
Speaker B:And we still gotta find out what.
Speaker C:The father's name Blue Dragon.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker C:Which.
Speaker C:What.
Speaker B:It's really weird.
Speaker B:I sort of Captain Triumph and Peacemaker makes sense.
Speaker B:But Blue Dragon seems like the awkward man out at that point.
Speaker C:Like red eyes, white.
Speaker C:Drat.
Speaker C:Oh my God.
Speaker C:Red eyes, white dragon.
Speaker C:Somebody is a Yu Gi oh fan.
Speaker C:I don't give a.
Speaker B:If that is the reason.
Speaker B:If that is the reason.
Speaker B:But then I wish now already you already get to see the breakdown of, of, of Peacemakers entire world that he used to know it as.
Speaker B:And then being exposed to this.
Speaker B:At which point kind of can't blame it.
Speaker B:But then something else wild happens and he meets his counterpart.
Speaker B:Which by the way the helmet is much cooler.
Speaker B:It's not as shiny.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's real.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's kind of cool.
Speaker C:Cool.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:It.
Speaker B:It's not.
Speaker B:Is it?
Speaker B:Here, here's Peacemakers.
Speaker B:Here's his counterpart.
Speaker B:It's just a much cooler helmet.
Speaker B:It's just a much cooler helmet.
Speaker D:It's the toilet seat like rim around it.
Speaker D:That's what really Drags it.
Speaker B:And it's shiny.
Speaker B:Shiny.
Speaker B:It's not like gunmetal shiny.
Speaker C:Looks ribbed for her pleasure.
Speaker D:Stretch your mouth.
Speaker C:What?
Speaker B:But.
Speaker B:But here he is.
Speaker B:He faces off with his counterpart.
Speaker B:No words.
Speaker B:I'm sure he's trying to explain, but there's no words.
Speaker B:And in the.
Speaker B:In the whole tussle, man, this Peacemaker's got a cool helmet.
Speaker B:He's got a rocket pack.
Speaker B:He knows how to utilize the damn thing.
Speaker B:And in all the.
Speaker B:The hustle and bustle, Chris hits that same button, and it throws him up against the ceiling.
Speaker B:And then, pale, he gets impaled.
Speaker C:Whoops.
Speaker B:This dude cannot stop.
Speaker C:That's.
Speaker C:That's the.
Speaker C:That's his thing.
Speaker C:Like, he fails upwards.
Speaker C:Which.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So in.
Speaker B:In reality, Peacemaker has killed his brother, his father, and himself.
Speaker C:That's Trinity.
Speaker C:Except for the not the mother part.
Speaker C:Where is his mother?
Speaker B:I can't remember what they said about the mother.
Speaker B:I can't remember.
Speaker B:I. I swear, though.
Speaker B:I swear.
Speaker B:The father said something about the mother before.
Speaker B:In the first season.
Speaker C:I think she left them.
Speaker B:Yeah, see, now.
Speaker B:Oh, gun, you better.
Speaker B:Gun, you better not.
Speaker B:Gun, you better not.
Speaker B:If he just.
Speaker B:Oh, it might be too much.
Speaker B:It might be too much with everything.
Speaker B:I think that's going to go.
Speaker B:Going.
Speaker B:I think it might be too much to bring the mom in.
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker C:Yeah, probably.
Speaker C:Probably.
Speaker C:I mean, he.
Speaker C:Because he's gonna have to Disney.
Speaker C:Disney her too.
Speaker B:Yeah, because there's like, you can't make the mother exactly like the father, or you.
Speaker B:You just.
Speaker B:You just can't.
Speaker C:Oh, no.
Speaker C:I'm talking about how the mother always gets murked and it Disney.
Speaker B:Oh, God, no, you can't.
Speaker B:No, no, he'd have to.
Speaker C:He'd have to wait.
Speaker B:Oh, my goodness.
Speaker D:Trying to do the.
Speaker D:The research of the question.
Speaker D:What happened to Peacemaker's mother?
Speaker D:A discussion thread on Reddit.
Speaker D:Someone asked that same question.
Speaker D:Question, and they said there's a theory that Augie killed her accidentally in a, you know, a fit of domestic violence.
Speaker D:And the top comment, someone says, what?
Speaker D:A Nazi committing domestic violence.
Speaker D:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:And it fits.
Speaker B:Oh, and it fits.
Speaker B:I. I guess it does.
Speaker B:It fits, I guess.
Speaker C:Oh, Mel with the.
Speaker C:Oh, God.
Speaker C:Thank.
Speaker C:Thank you, Mel, for that.
Speaker C:Oh, my God.
Speaker C:Oh, Mal.
Speaker C:Can we put it.
Speaker C:I don't know if we're allowed to.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:Peacemaker has the French.
Speaker B:It's not vulgar language.
Speaker B:It's not.
Speaker B:It's not hate speech.
Speaker C:The rabbit helmet.
Speaker C:I would have to.
Speaker C:I don't know personally, but from what I've Been told that seems like an accurate description.
Speaker B:French tickler, Rabbit.
Speaker C:God, whatever.
Speaker B:It works.
Speaker B:No, but it.
Speaker B:This is where it ends with Chris failing upwards, like Lady Mandalore said, and killing that world's Peacemaker and damn, you can't catch a break, my guy.
Speaker B:And that.
Speaker B:And that wasn't.
Speaker B:I think that was just to get him off of him.
Speaker B:Because the way he was getting punched, like one hits.
Speaker C:He was a hundred percent trying to kill that he.
Speaker C:Earth B. Peacemaker was a thousand percent trying to kill him.
Speaker C:That was not.
Speaker B:Because that first punch.
Speaker C:That first punch, the daggers that spun into his back.
Speaker B:Crazy.
Speaker C:He was.
Speaker B:He couldn't get away from them things.
Speaker B:No, no, it didn't stick in.
Speaker B:It stuck in and kept spinning.
Speaker D:And he was just trying to run home.
Speaker D:Like, he's just trying to get away.
Speaker B:He's like, I didn't know, dude.
Speaker B:I didn't know, man.
Speaker B:Like, it was like, if he would.
Speaker B:He was not here for talking.
Speaker C:No, get to it.
Speaker C:What you do.
Speaker C:What you mean?
Speaker C:You in my father's house?
Speaker C:Oh, no.
Speaker B:Not one question.
Speaker B:Not one question.
Speaker B:I'm like, when you did see him face to face, you still didn't.
Speaker B:Too much question.
Speaker C:No, you are trying you.
Speaker C:No, I'm not letting you come.
Speaker C:Oh, my God.
Speaker C:What if he's been to other universes and he knows?
Speaker C:He knows all of the other Peacemakers are utter trash.
Speaker C:What if he knew?
Speaker C:Oh.
Speaker B:There'S a lot to.
Speaker B:Oh, boy.
Speaker D:I mean, that's awful awkward then, because you got killed by someone you don't respect.
Speaker D:Like, that's like old girl that just lost that tennis match.
Speaker D:Just like you're.
Speaker D:You're.
Speaker D:You're uneducated and you're not classy and you lost.
Speaker D:So reflect.
Speaker B:Never come for a black woman.
Speaker B:I'm just saying.
Speaker B:Yeah, and by the way, have we been pronouncing bloodhaven wrong all these years?
Speaker B:I.
Speaker D:That made my skin crawl.
Speaker D:I hated it so much because I'm like.
Speaker B:His dad said it.
Speaker B:He was like.
Speaker B:It was like, bluehaven.
Speaker B:I'm like, I know it's a German word, but I've never heard anyone else say bluthaven.
Speaker B:It's been bloodhaven.
Speaker B:It's always been bloodhaven.
Speaker B:It's the sister city to Gotham.
Speaker B:It's just as bad.
Speaker D:So listen, I don't know how many times we're gonna have to say that, but if this is the established way that you say that in this universe, I. I might join the Snyder fanboys or the Snyderverse, because.
Speaker D:Absolutely not.
Speaker D:Blue apron makes my skin crawl.
Speaker D:I just I can't.
Speaker B:Like, the dad said it.
Speaker B:I'm like, oh, maybe it was a slip up.
Speaker B:And then the dad and then the brother said it.
Speaker B:I'm like, oh, wait, y' all really saying this.
Speaker C:Uncultured.
Speaker D:Not.
Speaker D:You know what it is?
Speaker D:It reminds me of that one time in Rick and Morty when they had to find a new universe.
Speaker D:They're like, everything here is exactly like the last universe, except they pronounce Parmesan.
Speaker D:Parmesan.
Speaker B:I remember that.
Speaker D:I was like, yeah, because that would drive me up a wall.
Speaker D:I don't even know I'm up me off.
Speaker B:Now.
Speaker B:Now everybody that talks about bloodhaven, they're gonna be like, it's called bluehaven.
Speaker B:And I'm gonna be walking by his bloodhaven.
Speaker B:It's been bloodhaven.
Speaker B:It's going to stay bloodhaven.
Speaker B:You know, they.
Speaker C:We say things the American way here.
Speaker B:Jeez.
Speaker B:So, yeah, like, I think this is going to be a, a season of a lot of grief.
Speaker B:No, but nobody is happy with.
Speaker B:They're happy with each other, but separate.
Speaker B:Nobody's happy.
Speaker B:Economos has a job, not happy.
Speaker B:Hardcore doesn't have a job.
Speaker B:Not happy at a bio.
Speaker B:No job, no wife, not happy.
Speaker C:Chris hasn't been happy like this.
Speaker C:She's the only consistent person.
Speaker B:Yeah, they took the last thing that kept her busy.
Speaker B:So, you know, Peacemaker, no.
Speaker B:No brother, no father, killed his other self.
Speaker B:No job can be respected.
Speaker B:Grief, grief, grief.
Speaker B:Nobody's having, no.
Speaker B:Oh, I, I don't know.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It's a lot.
Speaker B:It's a lot.
Speaker C:I've been rolling around this idea that this whole thing with Peacemaker getting another chance with his family is kind of like when you have family that you politically, morally, ethically disagree with and you leave and then this does not happen to most people, your family actually changes.
Speaker C:What, what, what happens when, when you meet your family the way that you would, you know, that they've grown, they've actually evolved from the way that they used to think.
Speaker C:Honestly, what do you do?
Speaker C:Because you, you certainly, you haven't changed, but all of your perceptions of them.
Speaker C:I can't believe you put that up while I'm having this deep philosophical.
Speaker B:I literally caught me a girl.
Speaker B:I'm like, how did I miss that one?
Speaker C:But, but maybe I feel like it's got a little bit of an undertone to that.
Speaker C:Or maybe there's a.
Speaker C:What is it?
Speaker C:Is it an allegory type of situation, Lesson learned, understory, sub, subplot type of thing?
Speaker C:Like, maybe this is what hap he's gonna have to figure out whether or not he has to fight with his fam.
Speaker C:Fight for this new family or the old one possibly.
Speaker B:I mean, we already got like the.
Speaker D:The kind of the.
Speaker B:The final family.
Speaker B:We.
Speaker B:We finally.
Speaker B:We've seen like this season on Peacemaker.
Speaker B:We've seen that kind of caption going down where he's clearly going to go back to that other side because it's a much better life.
Speaker B:Like his.
Speaker B:His other half, his counterpart used to date Hardcourt.
Speaker B:He was like, so there's a world where the woman that I'm actually into is into me.
Speaker B:We just broke up.
Speaker B:I'm gonna fix that.
Speaker B:His.
Speaker B:His gear looks better than mine.
Speaker B:His father is a loving father and he's alive.
Speaker B:His brother is alive and they got all this cool stuff.
Speaker B:He's respected over there.
Speaker B:You know, he's a known hero over there.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And it's gonna take the 11th Street Kids to be like, hey, dude, you can't be over there.
Speaker B:I hate to say it, you know, like, because we don't know what their counterparts are about over there.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker B:Other than hardcore.
Speaker B:We don't know what their counterparts are over there.
Speaker C:I mean, they all have to be over there.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Because what if he goes over there?
Speaker B:Well, he is going over there, but when he goes over there, let's just say he sees the 11th street kids and their lives are.
Speaker B:You're right, mama.
Speaker B:The grass isn't.
Speaker C:If they're even alive.
Speaker C:Alive.
Speaker B:Yeah, that too.
Speaker B:That too.
Speaker B:Like, are they alive?
Speaker B:Did they.
Speaker B:Did they go out a bad way?
Speaker C:How the did Eagly know to go to that goddamn door?
Speaker D:I think Eagly was just drunk and lost like Ron's owl and Harry Potter.
Speaker C:No, no.
Speaker C:How the that bird know to go to that goddamn door and like beelined it straight for that door.
Speaker B:Yeah, he.
Speaker B:And he stayed there.
Speaker B:That's why he never came back.
Speaker B:He stayed there.
Speaker B:So he.
Speaker B:He quit.
Speaker C:You doing what you up to, Nikki?
Speaker C:What you doing?
Speaker C:Why?
Speaker C:You know how you know that one door out of all.
Speaker B:Because there's no way he was lost.
Speaker B:Lost like that.
Speaker B:Like, I mean, I could see how it was because that.
Speaker B:The whole setup was the same.
Speaker B:The door to the helmets, it was set up the same.
Speaker D:Yo, what if it's like, you know the quote unquote stray cat in the neighborhood?
Speaker D:That cat ain't stray.
Speaker D:It actually has a home.
Speaker D:Like, Eagly been over there.
Speaker D:They got the good snacks.
Speaker B:He was just trying to be over there real quick, open this door.
Speaker B:Because they got some good stuff over There.
Speaker B:We can't find nothing over here.
Speaker B:They got the good stuff over here, though.
Speaker B:They got Parmesan.
Speaker B:Parmesan over here.
Speaker B:Parmesan over here.
Speaker D:They got the best Parmesan in Blue Cave.
Speaker D:And.
Speaker B:I'm not.
Speaker B:I'm like mayhem.
Speaker B:That the way they pronounce that.
Speaker B:I'm like, that is not how you say that.
Speaker B:But because Gun made it, I'm just gonna let it slide for right now.
Speaker B:I'm like, oh, what is happening?
Speaker B:So that's our.
Speaker B:That's our recap for season two, episode one of Peacemaker and episode three of Alien Earth.
Speaker B:We will be covering the entire season of both shows, so stay tuned.
Speaker B:Be sure you watch it.
Speaker B:So what do.
Speaker B:What did Miles say?
Speaker B:He said family and friends.
Speaker B:Can't live with them and can't kill them.
Speaker B:At least not in this universe and not get caught.
Speaker B:Yeah, there might be some.
Speaker B:He might be a well respected hero.
Speaker B:Or a hero.
Speaker B:They might be well respected heroes.
Speaker B:And he might have a good, tight family dynamic.
Speaker B:But what if Adebayo is being beaten?
Speaker B:You know, what if.
Speaker B:Who was it?
Speaker B:Economos is not happy or he's a dick.
Speaker C:What if he's the head of Argus?
Speaker B:Oh, my God, that would be so much worse.
Speaker C:ARGUS oh, my God.
Speaker C:Not if he's got his together because.
Speaker B:He'S not happy now.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Oh, man.
Speaker B:So we're going to be covering that.
Speaker B:Just keep an ear out.
Speaker B:Be sure to watch the shows because we will spoil it.
