Speaker D:Like.
Speaker C:I didn't see it.
Speaker C:Sorry, Princess Ziri.
Speaker D:The look of it will kill me.
Speaker D:As soon as I said hey, she just went.
Speaker C:She's like, did he not get the itinerary?
Speaker D:I'm the important one, they come to see me.
Speaker C:What's going on, Christy?
Speaker C:Mama's in the building.
Speaker C:What's happening?
Speaker C:So, man, five years of this show.
Speaker D:Yep.
Speaker C:Season 15.
Speaker C:So people are wondering, they wonder, why is it five seasons but we have so many episodes.
Speaker C:Well, when I started the show, I started the show with eight episodes and it was strictly eight.
Speaker C:So that's why so many.
Speaker C:That's why so many seasons popped up, because it was only eight episodes.
Speaker C:So it was like I would do eight episodes, probably take a month or a couple weeks off, come back new season.
Speaker C:So yeah, that's why.
Speaker C:That's why so many seasons are in the.
Speaker C:Are in the tank and.
Speaker C:Yeah, so.
Speaker D:But at the same time, if you make it to season five, that's syndication.
Speaker D:You're beyond syndication at this point.
Speaker C:We have more than enough.
Speaker C:You can go back and check them out on the YouTube channel.
Speaker C:You can check out current seasons and past season on APR tv.
Speaker C:That's always press record television through your Roku devices and your Amazon fire devices.
Speaker C:Thanks you.
Speaker C:Thank you to Travis Lawson, who runs aprtv.
Speaker C:So, yeah, there's that.
Speaker C:We got our nails tech or nail tactician.
Speaker C:I wouldn't say nail technician tactic because what she puts out is it's pretty amazing.
Speaker C:Whoopi freaking dudes in the building.
Speaker C:It's normally dark.
Speaker C:Yeah, right.
Speaker D:It's light over.
Speaker D:It's light on that side of the world.
Speaker C:She froze for a second.
Speaker C:She.
Speaker C:She popped in like.
Speaker C:I just let her get her stuff together.
Speaker C:Unless it's.
Speaker C:Unless it's storming because I know she's been getting some storms lately.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker C:Yeah, so yeah, we're.
Speaker C:We.
Speaker C:We officially count for syndication.
Speaker C:I'm just saying we got enough.
Speaker C:We got enough episodes.
Speaker C:The revenue.
Speaker D:Those revenue checks be floating in any day now.
Speaker C:Oh, if we can just get some revenue checks.
Speaker C:Hello, people.
Speaker C:You know, just saying.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:What's going on?
Speaker C:I think you're muted.
Speaker C:You're muted.
Speaker D:Can't hear you.
Speaker H:During the daytime.
Speaker H:Took a leisurely stroll before I sat down here this today.
Speaker C:Oh, I did too.
Speaker C:I had to walk up.
Speaker C:So there's my leisurely stroll.
Speaker C:Couldn't do it yesterday, the way it stormed up here.
Speaker D:I was gonna say we had a nice little downpour.
Speaker C:Yeah, I guess if we showing off graphic to you.
Speaker C:I got my Godzilla shirt on.
Speaker C:You know, I went to the store earlier today and as I'm walking the store, I was grabbing some.
Speaker C:Some stuff that my wife wanted last minute and see a little kid.
Speaker C:He had to been about 10.
Speaker C:He sees Godzilla shirt.
Speaker C:He's like, I like your shirt.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker C:You'd be surprised how many recognitions I get for every graphic tee that I wear.
Speaker D:That gives me hope.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:When a 10 year old recognizes a shirt, that gives me hope.
Speaker C:And we're not.
Speaker C:And we're talking old school Godzilla.
Speaker C:So he's like, he knows who Godzilla is.
Speaker C:Whoever's in your house, young man, they're teaching you very well.
Speaker D:Your education is bright.
Speaker C:Exactly.
Speaker C:It was like, there's hope yet.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:So whoopty, what have you been up to besides the leisurely stroll?
Speaker D:Books.
Speaker D:Books.
Speaker C:You know what?
Speaker C:You are the reader of like the heavy.
Speaker C:You're the heavy reader of the group.
Speaker H:I finally decided to start getting myself out of boxes and bought an actual bookshelf.
Speaker H:So putting that together, trying to get my stuff out of storage and on a.
Speaker H:On a shelf.
Speaker D:Nice.
Speaker C:Hey, look, I I For those who know, the Iron Heart trailer did drop.
Speaker C:We'll be checking it out later.
Speaker C:But I did do a review on it.
Speaker C:But I had to go dig my iron heart out of one of my boxes.
Speaker C:Thank God the box was nearby and it wasn't like buried.
Speaker C:I just said, I know, I gotta, I gotta dig her out, you know, like it wasn't buried or anything.
Speaker C:It's literally is in a box.
Speaker C:The box is marked and it's all Black Panther stuff.
Speaker C:That's why I knew where it was all at.
Speaker D:Once is secured.
Speaker C:Yeah, I knew where she was at.
Speaker C:I'm like, yes, it's from the Marvel Legends line.
Speaker C:And I'm like, it's with all the Black Panther stuff.
Speaker C:I'm like, yeah, I know where that's.
Speaker C:I'm a stickler.
Speaker C:Look, I collect comics.
Speaker C:What do you expect people.
Speaker C:This is what I do.
Speaker C:I have to be a little.
Speaker D:You gotta be protective.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:I gotta know where to stop it.
Speaker C:Where's this issue at?
Speaker C:Right here in this box over here.
Speaker D:There was, Shoot, there was a cat knew that was like that he could tell you exactly what issue and what issue and letter of.
Speaker D:It's right.
Speaker D:Name, entitled name, title and issue of his comic.
Speaker D:He could tell you exactly where it is in his collection.
Speaker D:It was almost like watching Rain man comic books.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker C:The way I know I have a book is if I see the COVID Yeah.
Speaker C:Like when I'm just going through like dollar bin books or whatever or if I go to Carolyn Johnson, they have like a lot of older comics.
Speaker C:I always know what book I got just by looking at the COVID In the 90s is where I was really grabbing a lot of books.
Speaker C:I was Just like I already know.
Speaker C:Like I know I was heavy with X Men.
Speaker C:Anything involving the X Men and heavy with Spider Man.
Speaker C:So that's X Force X Factor Generation X and Uncanny X Men playing X Men.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker C:I was locked in.
Speaker D:I was gonna say Uncanny X Men before it went downhill.
Speaker D:Sorry.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:Sorry.
Speaker D:Joe.
Speaker D:You only.
Speaker D:You only read it because magic's in it.
Speaker D:That's the only reason you read outside that that story is trash.
Speaker D:But I'm sorry.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:I did see.
Speaker C:And it's.
Speaker C:And it's not there anymore.
Speaker C:I took it out.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker C:One thing I don't do.
Speaker C:I do not deal with negative troll Internet comments.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:You can always delete.
Speaker C:You do not have to engage because not like 99 of the time.
Speaker C:I did the numbers.
Speaker C:99 of the time.
Speaker C:These people don't have followers.
Speaker C:They don't have videos on their own channel.
Speaker C:Their bots don't engage.
Speaker C:People get involved and they get.
Speaker C:Again, don't engage.
Speaker D:They just want the clicks.
Speaker D:They.
Speaker D:They.
Speaker D:That's all it is.
Speaker D:It's like.
Speaker D:What is this whole popular thing to down something before it comes out.
Speaker D:Unless it's Snyder.
Speaker D:Then it's justified.
Speaker D:But everything else.
Speaker D:But everything else.
Speaker C:Oh.
Speaker C:They'll show up for that.
Speaker D:The Snyder fan.
Speaker D:The Snyder fan base is come out of nowhere trashing Superman.
Speaker D:I'm like you.
Speaker D:You do realize you're trashing for no reason other than the fact that you just want attention and rallying.
Speaker D:Cry for all.
Speaker D:For all basement incels to come out.
Speaker D:I'm sorry.
Speaker D:Go ahead.
Speaker H:They're gonna hate.
Speaker C:Watch it.
Speaker H:They're gonna hate.
Speaker C:Watch it drive the numbers gonna hate watching.
Speaker C:They're definitely gonna do that.
Speaker D:But here's.
Speaker D:But here's the killer part about it.
Speaker D:The majority of them.
Speaker D:I never.
Speaker D:It never ceases to amaze.
Speaker D:But demographic.
Speaker D:It is always the average napkin that is going to complain about a comic book character that they cannot relate to.
Speaker D:It is always going to be them no matter what.
Speaker D:And I'm like.
Speaker D:You do realize that riri Williams is.
Speaker D:Is.
Speaker D:She wasn't created for you.
Speaker D:But you have to.
Speaker D:I'm like.
Speaker D:Do you understand in the same sense that.
Speaker D:In the same sense that when we got Black Panther.
Speaker D:Oh.
Speaker C:Well.
Speaker D:It's.
Speaker D:It's what?
Speaker D:It's not for you.
Speaker D:You.
Speaker D:You.
Speaker D:It's like you have plenty of heroes out there and villains you can go to.
Speaker D:I'm sorry.
Speaker H:I'm agreeing with you.
Speaker D:Go ahead.
Speaker D:Huh?
Speaker H:And it wasn't for you.
Speaker H:Mafia 3 was not for you.
Speaker H:I bought that on purpose.
Speaker C:Like I don't Get.
Speaker C:I don't get the trolling.
Speaker C:And there's certain.
Speaker C:There are certain publication websites who are just as bad at as.
Speaker C:I'm not giving you shine.
Speaker C:I'm not going to give you any acknowledgment because your taglines or your headlines.
Speaker D:Are for clicks, pretty much.
Speaker C:And it's not in it.
Speaker C:You're not in it for the love of the art.
Speaker C:You're not in it for the love of the characters.
Speaker C:You.
Speaker C:You just.
Speaker C:You're garbage.
Speaker D:Yeah, they.
Speaker D:They want to throw mud.
Speaker D:You want to throw mud.
Speaker D:Because you can sit there and say, oh, well, I'm just joining the crowd.
Speaker D:No, look, I understand.
Speaker D:And I.
Speaker D:And I make jokes about this all the time.
Speaker D:There are some comic book stories that I'm just not gonna vibe with.
Speaker D:Does it mean that they're bad?
Speaker D:No, it just means they're not for me or this not.
Speaker D:Might be my cup of tea.
Speaker D:But you can honestly disagree with something you don't like and still, it.
Speaker D:Still encourage people to watch it or read it or see it and still be helping the cause, because it's all about exposure.
Speaker D:And right now, these are the characters that actually need the most exposure in the current mcu.
Speaker D:Because again, representation is big.
Speaker D:I mean, we've been waiting on Iron Heart since Wakanda, honestly.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:And then what?
Speaker D:We just get.
Speaker D:Then we get to talking about on Tuesday that, you know, a lot of.
Speaker D:A lot of influencers and those out there was like, you know, what, a month before Ironheart comes out and Disney has done nothing.
Speaker D:Screw it, we're gonna start a work promotion.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:And what happened when.
Speaker D:When other people start speaking out, Ryan Cougar gets called in and be like, please, please hurry up and join this dot.
Speaker D:Join this before.
Speaker D:Before they get mad at us.
Speaker H:Too late.
Speaker C:But see, here's the thing.
Speaker C:There are some people, and I agree with the representation part.
Speaker C:Me, I'm just more or less, where's the project?
Speaker C:I, you know, I need the project.
Speaker C:If you're.
Speaker C:You have the project, put the project out.
Speaker C:I want to see the project.
Speaker C:You know, whether, you know, you.
Speaker C:You.
Speaker C:We were looking forward to Secret Invasion, you know, and.
Speaker C:And you.
Speaker C:You actually did promote that.
Speaker C:But bad writing, I mean, just all.
Speaker D:The way horrible writing for such an amazing event.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:I mean, even if you had.
Speaker C:And even if you had.
Speaker C:Even if you were to change, which they did change the dynamic of Secret Invasion, which I'm fine with.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:Because I get it.
Speaker C:They even acknowledged it in the show.
Speaker C:You know, there was.
Speaker C:It wasn't going to make Sense to call in his Avenger friends because it could make the problem bigger.
Speaker C:True, but you didn't lean in to the espionage part of it hard enough.
Speaker D:It's kind of.
Speaker D:It's interesting.
Speaker D:Where secret invasion failed.
Speaker D:Brave New World.
Speaker D:Actually got it right.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:And just like this, he just said it.
Speaker C:You killed off two secondary.
Speaker C:Major secondary characters.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker C:With no payoff.
Speaker C:Talos.
Speaker C:I would have said that's messed up, but okay.
Speaker C:His daughter got it.
Speaker C:You bumped off Maria Hill.
Speaker D:See, that's why I would disagree.
Speaker D:Like, you need Talos, because, again, that was the balancing slash comedic factor.
Speaker D:But Maria Hill was the pillar.
Speaker D:It's like she was a constant pillar in all Marvel movies.
Speaker D:And you decided that, hey, let's just go ahead and just write her off here.
Speaker D:For what?
Speaker H:And in a dirty way, too.
Speaker C:It's just the dirtiest.
Speaker C:Because we're just like, was that really her?
Speaker C:Right?
Speaker C:Was that really her?
Speaker H:And I was like, no, no, I can't take this.
Speaker C:Yeah, that's too much drama.
Speaker C:Reverend Navy Shepherd Book, the man of the people, the man of the blurs.
Speaker D:Rev.
Speaker F:Hey, what's going on, y' all?
Speaker C:So I think what's happening with what we deal with and maybe gets.
Speaker C:He.
Speaker C:He gets it.
Speaker C:He gets a man on the high horse, and he says, look, this is what.
Speaker C:This is what's happening.
Speaker C:We don't deal with trolls in the sense that you want us to.
Speaker C:We don't engage with you.
Speaker C:We know the game.
Speaker C:We recognize the game.
Speaker C:Like, what we're part of.
Speaker C:The reason why I got rid of my Twitter account was it was rampant with negativity.
Speaker C:It was rampant.
Speaker C:Like, I'm like, okay, I'm all for free speech, but watch, watch.
Speaker C:Watch your mouth is what I'm saying.
Speaker C:Like, you know, you got one half saying, oh, the Marvels is actually a good movie.
Speaker C:Yes, it is.
Speaker C:Did you go see it?
Speaker C:Yes, I did.
Speaker C:And then the other half, who's never seen it, be the first ones to.
Speaker D:Sit there and complain.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Oh, I.
Speaker C:I don't think that if you just said, this may not.
Speaker C:If you're in a chat room and you just happen to say, oh, this may not be my cup of tea.
Speaker D:That's fine.
Speaker C:But to get in there and say, this.
Speaker C:This isn't my cup of tea.
Speaker C:This looks stupid.
Speaker C:Now, hold on.
Speaker C:You know this.
Speaker C:It looks like this abc, right?
Speaker C:Minecraft is a perfect example.
Speaker C:Minecraft is not something I've played, but I know about.
Speaker C:But guess what?
Speaker C:It wasn't made for me.
Speaker C:It has a crowd, and it did very well Yeah, I don't knock that.
Speaker D:I feel sorry for the movie theater staff though, because what I've seen in the mess they made, man.
Speaker F:Kids repeating everything after the game that they see.
Speaker D:In the movie and they just, that's just bad parenting.
Speaker D:Because I know my mom would have, would have whoop my tail for spilling 750 of a popcorn and throwing it willingly.
Speaker D:She would have beat the 750 out of me like sonic range.
Speaker H:The popcorn is another 14 drink is 8 bucks.
Speaker H:Oh, hell no.
Speaker C:So can we say wait, you better sit your tail down and eat it or we taking it home one or the other.
Speaker C:It's coming out this theater some kind of way, right?
Speaker F:Minecraft is this generation's Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker H:Wasn't even a Rocky Horror Picture show until it was a while.
Speaker H:And then there was special theaters for you to go see it and do all the stuff and to throw the paper and the gasping anticipation and do all of that thing.
Speaker D:But yeah, everybody else, but they were prepared.
Speaker D:I remember the trash bags of Rocky Horror Picture show they had, they had freaking BFI trash bags right along the side.
Speaker C:Sidebar.
Speaker C:They still do.
Speaker C:They still do.
Speaker C:They still air.
Speaker C:They still have midnight earrings.
Speaker C:But yeah, we, there's, there's a, there's a cop.
Speaker C:There's content for everybody.
Speaker C:And that is completely fine.
Speaker C:These fandoms, whether it's Marvel, whether it's dc, Star Wars, Star Trek, you know, gaming, you know, there's all these fandoms have a level of toxicity in them.
Speaker C:It is what it is.
Speaker C:There's no escaping it.
Speaker C:However, for people out there who, who are genuinely involved and want to see these fandom, go see them.
Speaker C:Go see them.
Speaker C:If you don't like it for whatever reason, that's fine.
Speaker C:State why don't just say it was stupid.
Speaker C:Like, yeah, we spoke in nauseam about Episode nine.
Speaker C:Not because it was dumb.
Speaker C:It was just we were robbed of certain character arcs and certain stuff didn't, shouldn't not have lined up the way it did.
Speaker D:Right?
Speaker C:It just, it, you know, we're fine with Rey going the route she did.
Speaker C:But you screwed us on Finn.
Speaker C:You know, you screwed us on Finn and it was just like, yo, we have no problem with Poe Dameron.
Speaker C:We have no problem.
Speaker C:You know, we understood you handled Carrie Fisher's death in a very respectful manner.
Speaker C:Very respectful way.
Speaker C:There was no, there was no other way to address that.
Speaker D:But the advertisement is what we got mad at the first time.
Speaker D:Of course I tell them because I tell everybody.
Speaker D:I said, you want to Know where it started?
Speaker D:The first, the first movie picture to where all you saw was a New Hope.
Speaker D:You see John Boyega's character, you see a green lightsaber going past it.
Speaker D:And then you see.
Speaker D:And then they show the date of when it was going to be released.
Speaker D:That was the first advertisement for the Force Awakens.
Speaker D:And then they kept doing it.
Speaker D:You kept seeing him holding a blaster in one hand, lightsaber in the other.
Speaker D:And you're thinking, oh, crap, we're actually gonna get a black Jedi this time.
Speaker D:Which was the thinking that everybody was like, we're actually going to see a story with black Jedi.
Speaker C:Not only that, not only that, a stormtrooper who turned rebel.
Speaker D:Right?
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah, that's.
Speaker C:We haven't seen that story happen yet.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:That's what it would have been like.
Speaker C:Yo.
Speaker C:It's not just because Finn is a black character and he's becoming a Jedi because we had mace.
Speaker C:You have a whole new character from a whole new background, from a whole.
Speaker C:Just telling a whole new thing.
Speaker C:And I'll stand on this, heal and die on it.
Speaker C:Anytime you have a movie or a series of movies and you change directors, things change.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:And you know, it could be anything.
Speaker C:We know how the industry works.
Speaker C:It can be a number of things.
Speaker C:Something, there might be a delay, there might be an injury that causes a delay.
Speaker C:There might be, you know, reshoots or something.
Speaker C:And those re.
Speaker C:And the people who are involved also have other projects lined up.
Speaker C:So that might come into that time.
Speaker C:And they're just like, okay, I can't commit to this next part of the series because.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:Do this when I have a commitment for this one over here.
Speaker C:So with the exception of Fantastic Four, that last one, that last one where you literally changed directors mid film.
Speaker C:I knew, we knew that was a problem.
Speaker C:We knew that was a problem.
Speaker F:We did not mention that.
Speaker F:Fantastic.
Speaker D:Oh, Lord.
Speaker C:So just seeing when you.
Speaker C:This is the education part of the show.
Speaker C:When you see, when we see these fandoms, I just want people out there that's on social media that sees a lot of these posts or whatever it is that they're looking at these trailers.
Speaker C:It's fine.
Speaker C:To celebrate the fandom.
Speaker C:We want that.
Speaker C:We need that.
Speaker C:What's not okay is you have the people who come in with the toxic hate.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:You know, the, the.
Speaker C:Oh, it's gonna fly.
Speaker C:How do you know that?
Speaker F:So called purists.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker F:Who claim that, oh, they didn't follow along this storyline or follow along this track.
Speaker F:It's the same BS that You got when they did the Cowboy Bebop Live action on Netflix, which was absolutely brilliant.
Speaker F:I enjoyed it from beginning to end because it addressed things that the anime didn't, but it didn't follow exactly with it.
Speaker F:But most of the of the vitriol that you heard where everybody who said, well, I didn't like it because it wasn't like the anime.
Speaker F:It wasn't supposed to be like the anime.
Speaker C:Fool literally cannot go frame for.
Speaker C:It can't happen.
Speaker D:Here's the crazy part going to that they actually.
Speaker D:They actually included so much the elements from every episode to where I had to literally show somebody.
Speaker D:I said, look.
Speaker D:So I had to show a purist.
Speaker D:Which is kind of funny because it's like, man, a black person can't play Jet.
Speaker D:Did you listen to old boy as he spoke?
Speaker D:He had Jet down to a T.
Speaker D:He had Jet Black down to a.
Speaker D:To the.
Speaker D:Damn it, Spike.
Speaker D:You heard the whole thing deeper than.
Speaker F:That boy through the entire run.
Speaker F:Yeah.
Speaker C:Here's the thing for the live action version of Cowboy Bebop when the minute I heard the intro, I was like, I'm locked in.
Speaker C:I'm.
Speaker D:I'm locked in the original band to do the intro.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:You know how hard it is to get the original band.
Speaker H:Didn't they have the mangaka co sign to everything they did be black.
Speaker C:Page to page, frame to frame, even one piece live action.
Speaker C:They did.
Speaker D:They had.
Speaker D:They had the.
Speaker D:They had a.
Speaker D:What's his face?
Speaker D:Yeah, he signed off on it.
Speaker C:He's like, yeah, this is.
Speaker C:This is beautiful.
Speaker C:This is great.
Speaker C:I see my baby on the screen.
Speaker C:We look at Star wars, one of the biggest fandoms out there.
Speaker D:True.
Speaker C: t I shared earlier today from: Speaker C: orge Lucas and James Cameron,: Speaker C:And at the time, George Lucas stated when he created Star wars, his version of defeating the empire was US versus Vietnam.
Speaker C:Vietcong @ that time.
Speaker C:And then it just progresses to the point that now it's looking like we are the rebels in our own country.
Speaker D:Who knew?
Speaker D:Who knew that history would repeat itself?
Speaker D:And all of a sudden we find ourselves.
Speaker C:That's exactly what they said.
Speaker C:He was like, we haven't learned from the mistakes.
Speaker C:And here we are.
Speaker C:And what is said in episode three, Revenge of the Sit, where he says, and this is how democracy.
Speaker C:Democracy dies in a thunderous applause.
Speaker C:Wake up, people.
Speaker D:I gotta record that and put that in a clip.
Speaker D:So every time people like, nope, nope, you asked for this.
Speaker D:Let's go back to that moment and just play the clip.
Speaker D:You were all there in the Senate, you all.
Speaker F:Yeah, it's funny.
Speaker C:It's funny watching that and seeing that.
Speaker C:That play by play.
Speaker C:You're just like, why does this seem so familiar?
Speaker D:But that's.
Speaker D:That's the thing, though.
Speaker D:It's like.
Speaker D:And this is me being a Trekkie.
Speaker D:I'll say the same thing.
Speaker D:I've said it before.
Speaker D:The two most negative toxic fandoms out there are Star wars and Star Trek.
Speaker D:Only because.
Speaker D:And I've had to tell people, if you cannot agree.
Speaker F:Oh, and Harry Potter.
Speaker F:Don't forget.
Speaker D:Oh, yeah, Harry Potter's a close second.
Speaker D:If not, if not two.
Speaker D:But authorism, it is because the author.
Speaker D:Because that woman killed her bag by just showing her true colors, which I thank God she did, because she showed her true colors and killed a billion dollar.
Speaker D:Billion bag.
Speaker D:Like, half of.
Speaker D:All you had to do is keep your mouth shut and write books.
Speaker D:Shut up and write.
Speaker D:That's all.
Speaker F:You want to be conservative.
Speaker F:Great.
Speaker F:Don't put it in your writing and keep your mouth.
Speaker D:Don't pull Stephen King and try to do a joke that you know.
Speaker D:You're not going to apologize for this.
Speaker C:Yeah, Stephen.
Speaker C:Damn Stephen King.
Speaker C:I'm hurt about that.
Speaker C:So the way I read that.
Speaker C:Because he's very outspoken about a certain person, right?
Speaker C:He's very outspoken.
Speaker C:So the way I read that, I'm just like, okay, I.
Speaker C:I get the joke.
Speaker C:However, it didn't go up.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It didn't go over well.
Speaker C:It's not a.
Speaker C:Isn't.
Speaker C:It didn't go over with.
Speaker H:It's not funny unless everybody is laughing, pretty much.
Speaker H:And the people who are part of the joke say, hey, bro, this ain't funny.
Speaker H:Back up.
Speaker D:He should.
Speaker D:He should have immediately apologized.
Speaker D:It should have been.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker D:Look, I know I said this to y' all guys, but I'm gonna say it here.
Speaker D:He should have.
Speaker D:He should have apologized loud, early, and often.
Speaker D:Let the policy be allowed as a disrespect.
Speaker D:He hasn't apologized at all.
Speaker C:I don't know if the tweet.
Speaker C:I don't know if they'll post a celeb or not, but I'm like, dude, I don't think you.
Speaker C:I don't.
Speaker C:Yeah, I don't think that joke went over.
Speaker C:Like you.
Speaker D:Like I said, if I'm his PR person, I'm like, get on social media and apologize before we lose money.
Speaker H:Not only that, because he's got three things coming out between this year and next year.
Speaker H:Yeah, you've got the dairy thing, the.
Speaker C:The Long walk.
Speaker H:And there's one more.
Speaker H:I can't remember what it is.
Speaker H:Not to mention he has two more novels dropping within the next two years.
Speaker C:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker D:You about to mess with the church's money.
Speaker C:I'm like, dude, that.
Speaker C:I don't think that was supposed to happen.
Speaker C:And I'm sure that wasn't.
Speaker H:I'm tired of the people I like up.
Speaker D:I'm telling you, it's just good money.
Speaker C:Sometimes you need to hush.
Speaker D:Sometimes reveals people to be their true selves or just.
Speaker D:I'm just gonna say this.
Speaker D:I'm just gonna say this out loud, see what happens.
Speaker D:This is why you got to have a no person in your camp, where it's like, I'm gonna post this.
Speaker D:Let me read it.
Speaker H:But you would expect someone who writes for a living to be able to read a room.
Speaker F:No, that man can barely read his own name, let alone read a room.
Speaker C:Stephen King, now He's in the 70s, right?
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:Getting there.
Speaker H:He's tried to be an ally, and sometimes the way he writes women or minorities is kind of cringe, but he weaves such a good story that you're able to just be like, this is good.
Speaker H:And keep reading it to get to the end to find out, you know, how it progresses.
Speaker D:But, oh, I knew he would.
Speaker D:I knew he was.
Speaker C:If you wanna.
Speaker C:If you want to highlight, just look at Ben and Jerry's.
Speaker D:Yeah, I can't wait to eat that ice cream again.
Speaker D:I gotta beat this diabetes.
Speaker D:I miss sugary stuff, but that's not the subject here.
Speaker C:But no.
Speaker D:Go ahead.
Speaker D:Go ahead, Rev.
Speaker D:Go ahead.
Speaker F:If y' all want to get an idea of how Stephen King is the book that Joe Hill wrote called Full Throttle.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker F:The whole preface has to do with how he became a writer.
Speaker F:And he talked about his mom and dad, bro.
Speaker F:I was just like, so how did you become a writer?
Speaker H:He used to do comics before he did, like.
Speaker C:Oh, yeah.
Speaker H:Lock and Key was everything to me.
Speaker H:Once I found out it was Stephen King's son, that was it.
Speaker H:I was on it even more.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker H:He writes really well.
Speaker H:I have several of his books as well.
Speaker C:Yeah, that's.
Speaker C:That was the.
Speaker C:Now the crux of it.
Speaker C:When you.
Speaker C:I miss George Carlin.
Speaker C:Let's just put it that way.
Speaker D:That man would have a field day.
Speaker F:Oh, my Lord.
Speaker F:His shows would sell out just to hear what he has to say.
Speaker C:It's not even outdated.
Speaker C:That's the crazy thing.
Speaker D:Everything to a T is accurate.
Speaker C:So, you know, in other news, as we know, that Sinners has been performing extremely well.
Speaker F:As it should.
Speaker C:As it should.
Speaker C:And as we were seeing several celebrities coming out in support, like, yo, go see this movie.
Speaker C:One of those people was Tom Cruise.
Speaker C:And as you know, he has a movie.
Speaker C:He's the latest.
Speaker C:Mission Impossible is coming out.
Speaker C:And Michael B.
Speaker C:Jordan said, I wasn't old enough to see the first one in the theaters.
Speaker C:And he.
Speaker C:And he's quoted saying, yeah, I'm going to the theater.
Speaker C:I won't miss this.
Speaker D:That's literally, you know.
Speaker D:You know, Tom Cruise looking at him like that.
Speaker D:That discussion had, like, you know, that's not the end of the franchise.
Speaker D:I just need somebody to take over because I'm tired of running three miles in every movie.
Speaker C:I'm tired of running five miles.
Speaker C:He literally.
Speaker C:So Michael B.
Speaker C:Jordan was at the.
Speaker C:The red carpet event for Mission Impossible, and Tom Cruise comes up and he congratulates him.
Speaker C:And whatever he's whispering in his ear, I'm just like, you kind of got a seal of approval off your performance.
Speaker C:You know, I hate to say it in that fashion, but optics wise.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:All I got there to say is that that man does not get us.
Speaker D:Well, let's.
Speaker D:Let's be honest, because we now know that the movie presentation has new rules as far as watching movies they vote on.
Speaker D:But it'll be nice to actually see that man get flowers, especially after performance in centers like that.
Speaker C:I'm not gonna lie, Michael.
Speaker C:I've seen a couple of his films that he's been in, and Without Remorse is a good one, too.
Speaker C:Yo, that's a good one.
Speaker C:It doesn't get in there.
Speaker C:My second command's in the building.
Speaker D:There she is.
Speaker C:She knows I'm not allowed to launch without her.
Speaker C:She'll chill.
Speaker F:The queen of the New York boroughs, ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker D:She's right here early, celebrating.
Speaker A:Who, me?
Speaker C:Somebody.
Speaker D:I was making a joke, but I was right.
Speaker F:You gonna reach for the bottle?
Speaker F:It's a rap.
Speaker D:I was just.
Speaker D:I was just messing with you.
Speaker D:I didn't think I was right.
Speaker A:I just said, huh.
Speaker A:I mean, you know, make my life more exciting.
Speaker C:So pretty much the gang's out here.
Speaker C:I think now would be a good time to check out Ironheart for those who are living under some form of rock.
Speaker C:I don't know.
Speaker C:So we're gonna check out.
Speaker C:We're gonna check this out real quick, because why the hell not?
Speaker C:This is something we've been wanting, been looking for beneath ever since Wakanda.
Speaker C:Forever.
Speaker C:Here she is.
Speaker C:Remy Williams.
Speaker C:Oh, no, that's.
Speaker D:Wait a minute.
Speaker C:This is what I get from not labeling them.
Speaker C:Hello.
Speaker F:For real?
Speaker C:Welcome, Mary.
Speaker C:In less than three minutes, the air in this elevator will no longer be breathable.
Speaker A:Oh, what?
Speaker C:What?
Speaker C:What is this?
Speaker C:You're interview.
Speaker F:You'll suffocate and die unless you break into the device on the floor or.
Speaker G:You'Ll find a gas mask.
Speaker E:Good luck.
Speaker C:Screw this.
Speaker G:I heard riri Williams was a genius.
Speaker F:So you win her out.
Speaker C:Riri.
Speaker D:I see you.
Speaker G:I see you're fed up waiting to be acknowledged for your greatness.
Speaker C:You are not the first.
Speaker D:First genius at mit.
Speaker C:How come you're not working at one of those fancy tech firms?
Speaker C:After my internship abroad, I want to build something undeniable.
Speaker C:Something important.
Speaker C:Iconic.
Speaker C:It's a brand new.
Speaker F:I can give you the tools to help you carry out your vision.
Speaker F:But anyone who's ever accomplished anything iconic.
Speaker C:In life, I had to do some.
Speaker F:Questionable things to get it done.
Speaker C:What will you do, riri?
Speaker A:You've bitten off a hell of a.
Speaker C:Lot more than you can chew.
Speaker A:I could chew a lot.
Speaker H:You know nothing about this, man.
Speaker C:You're gonna end up dead or in jail.
Speaker C:This is so much bigger than that.
Speaker C:This is wild.
Speaker F:A shady bunker.
Speaker C:My bunker's not shady.
Speaker D:Would a shady bunker have that on the wall?
Speaker C:It's literally above a crate of st.
Speaker C:Self guided missiles.
Speaker C:I'm returning those.
Speaker C:That looks like a lot of fun.
Speaker C:That's June 24th.
Speaker C:That is going to premiere.
Speaker C:Yo.
Speaker F:Let's go.
Speaker C:The level.
Speaker C:The level.
Speaker C:The which that this has been shot is damn near movie quality.
Speaker C:It looks good.
Speaker C:I'm.
Speaker C:You know, whatever the delay was.
Speaker C:I'm sure it is.
Speaker C:I'll go out on limb and say I'm sure it was a reasonable delay.
Speaker C:You know, for timing on these releases that they have coming out.
Speaker C:They just have to.
Speaker C:But they shouldn't have waited this damn long.
Speaker C:Y' all should have been chomping at the bit, you know, so.
Speaker C:But it does look really good.
Speaker C:It looks very inviting.
Speaker C:I don't.
Speaker C:I know they said three episode premiere on the 24th.
Speaker C:I'm not sure the episode counts, but it's probably somewhere between 8 and 10.
Speaker D:Probably because they're not gonna.
Speaker D:Yeah, that's gonna.
Speaker D:I mean, Daredevil spoiled us, so I doubt we're gonna get a.
Speaker D:We're gonna get a full slate for that.
Speaker D:So you're probably looking at eight or 10 episodes.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Say that again.
Speaker C:What you say?
Speaker A:No, I said it was eight episodes.
Speaker C:Can y' all hear me?
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Siri just said wait.
Speaker C:I need to talk.
Speaker D:Zuri decides she wanted to talk halfway through sleeping.
Speaker F:Had a comment.
Speaker C:No, but go ahead.
Speaker C:Who said it?
Speaker F:Oh, can I say that I'm extremely happy that their Marvel is continuing to do what they always do and introducing a new character into the fold.
Speaker F:That is the hood right there on the screen.
Speaker F:That is hood.
Speaker C:I was curious when.
Speaker C:When it first announced, when they said this would be one of the antagonists or protects.
Speaker C:Yeah, antagonist.
Speaker F:It's antagonist.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker A:I was incorrect.
Speaker C:I'm so sorry.
Speaker A:It's actually only six.
Speaker C:Six.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:Interesting.
Speaker D:That is.
Speaker C:So if it premieres.
Speaker C:Oh, no, wait, no.
Speaker C:That lines up.
Speaker C:It overlaps.
Speaker D:That sounds like the last episode.
Speaker D:Be right before July 11th.
Speaker F:That sounds like a payment plan.
Speaker F:Half up front, the other half over next few weeks.
Speaker D:It is kind of messed up.
Speaker C:I'm kind of getting it now because they have a lot of shows for Disney plus Premiere.
Speaker C:Like, we just got.
Speaker C:We were getting three episodes of Andor a week at this point, you know, which.
Speaker C:The last three premiered last night.
Speaker C:You know, just so we'll have that moment of breathe, breathe, breathe.
Speaker C:A couple weeks.
Speaker C:Couple weeks.
Speaker C:Boom, another one drops.
Speaker C:And this would overlap to Fantastic Four.
Speaker C:So that kind of makes.
Speaker C:They were on that before and it was working, but once again, delay.
Speaker C:Shooting delays covet.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:The reshoots, you know, so they kind of.
Speaker C:They were on it for a minute.
Speaker C:I'm trying to think of.
Speaker C:I can't think of which series it was, but it actually worked.
Speaker C:Like you had like a weaker two.
Speaker C:And then the movie would drop, which.
Speaker C:They're come.
Speaker C:They're walking.
Speaker C:They said they're war after Vision Quest or Vision, whatever they're calling it.
Speaker C:They said after that premieres, that'll be the last Disney or the last Beat.
Speaker C:The last Marvel or MCU show that has a major MCU film character in it.
Speaker D:Yeah, that was supposed to be.
Speaker D:I was supposed to be.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:And I'm okay with that.
Speaker C:I'm okay with that because for a lot of people, unless you're like a Die Hard, for a lot of people, that it's a lot.
Speaker C:It's a lot to consume.
Speaker C:And that's.
Speaker C:That's fair.
Speaker C:That's fair to say, okay, you gotta watch Multiverse of Madness, and then you got to turn around and watch WandaVision, and then you gotta.
Speaker C:It's a lot.
Speaker D:It was a lot of bombarding, even though it was the time.
Speaker D:But I mean, again, it's Ironheart, it's the Hood.
Speaker D:Every time I see that guy, I want to either watch Hamilton or I want to watch Transformers, because either one.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Anthony Ramos.
Speaker D:I'm like, dude, every time I see us, either I'm watching Hamilton or I'm watching Transformers sometime tonight.
Speaker D:Because, I mean.
Speaker D:Oh, yeah.
Speaker C:Live to tell our story.
Speaker D:Of tonight.
Speaker A:Manny Gangster, friend of Good girl Else.
Speaker A:I will be re.
Speaker A:Watching that episode, if you know what episode I'm talking about.
Speaker A:That episode is hot.
Speaker A:Sorry.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:The messiness.
Speaker C:The messiness.
Speaker D:You know what?
Speaker D:I believe that alone because I'm gonna say my.
Speaker D:I'm gonna say that for the Person series because I'm trying to figure one of those last two girls get married off.
Speaker C:Oh, my God.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:But I would.
Speaker C:I was very interested in how bringing the Hood in would work.
Speaker D:And it was an interesting way of how they did that because, you know, again, it's the Hood.
Speaker D:We're not exactly sure.
Speaker D:Oh, we're not exactly sure of how they were going to do it at first, but I mean, to go this route and kind of give them a little bit more of a kingpin feel.
Speaker C:That'S not bad considering the fact there's a vacuum to be filled.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker C:When that's.
Speaker C:That's kind of the hood's thing is he is part of that, that, that, that cloth of.
Speaker C:No pun intended.
Speaker F:He's being portrayed as a person of color.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker F:Versus in the comics.
Speaker F:That, that is.
Speaker F:You know, that's a Ryan Coogler genius idea right there.
Speaker F:Let's, let's, let's continue to humanize them and let's make them not on the beaten path.
Speaker F:Let's, let's, let's, let's do that.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Not only that, be prepared to see some, some form of symbolism throughout this, this series.
Speaker C:Like some under.
Speaker C:Not as deep.
Speaker C:Maybe not as deep as.
Speaker C:All because Coogler is the executive producer for this, so maybe not as deep as.
Speaker C:As his actual projects that he's on, but prepare to see some stuff.
Speaker A:I mean, just gotta guide them too, you know?
Speaker C:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:He wants it to be as successful as it possibly can.
Speaker A:And I'm sure it's something, you know, he's gotta want to pay for what he wants to see too.
Speaker A:And I don't think.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker A:Something that's full of plot holes and.
Speaker C:Oh, no, not the knowing that.
Speaker C:And like you said, with him being involved, I don't think we're gonna see plot holes because.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:It's going from this and I.
Speaker C:And now.
Speaker C:They never said that you wouldn't see any Disney plus MCU characters on the big screen.
Speaker C:They never said that.
Speaker C:They just said you wouldn't see the.
Speaker C:The main characters.
Speaker C:On the big screen.
Speaker C:On the small.
Speaker C:Small screen.
Speaker C:Which means we probably won't see Elena on season two of Hawkeye.
Speaker C:Unfortunately, I still say.
Speaker D:I still say in Ironheart, we're either gonna see Shuri or Okoye.
Speaker A:Yeah, my money's on Okoye, too.
Speaker F:Same.
Speaker D:Because I still think.
Speaker D:I think Akoyo will show a good.
Speaker C:Way to tie it into ice.
Speaker C:Wakanda.
Speaker D:Yeah, it ties the odds.
Speaker D:Wakanda.
Speaker D:That's what makes me thinks sure he's gonna get visit.
Speaker D:I'm not sure that Riri's gonna get visited by her favorite, least favorite Wakandian.
Speaker D:Because the first time they met.
Speaker D:The first time they met in Az.
Speaker C:Wakanda.
Speaker D:In Wakanda forever.
Speaker C:Yeah, she's like this.
Speaker C:It's not.
Speaker C:They just had a very tense meeting.
Speaker C:Okoye, on the other hand, actually liked her.
Speaker C:She was like, she's got some fire in her.
Speaker C:I like her.
Speaker D:Her.
Speaker D:You know, she would have been great.
Speaker C:For the rv, but.
Speaker C:So I don't know.
Speaker C:Whoopi, what you think?
Speaker H:Look, I'm looking forward to it.
Speaker H:Like Issa Ram, rooting for everybody.
Speaker H:Black.
Speaker C:Speaking of which, I still need to sit down and watch Forever.
Speaker C:I'm saving that.
Speaker C:I'm saving that for the weekend.
Speaker H:I sat down to start watching it yesterday, but I got distracted by Lady's Dream.
Speaker C:She was watching Laney Stream.
Speaker C:She.
Speaker C:She was supporting Laney Stream and then trying to support a black show.
Speaker A:She got renewed for season two.
Speaker D:Yay.
Speaker C:She really did.
Speaker C:She really did.
Speaker C:We are eating lately.
Speaker A:In spite of.
Speaker C:In spite of.
Speaker C:That doesn't mean we trust fully Hollywood to handle that.
Speaker C:But that's what Blur Station is for.
Speaker C:But I'm glad we're getting something.
Speaker C:You know, I'm glad we're getting some projects coming out that really do tell stories.
Speaker C:Not just from the black experience, but just the people of color experience.
Speaker C:It's not woke people.
Speaker C:It's real world old stuff.
Speaker D:But if it doesn't relate to you, don't get mad.
Speaker D:You have plenty of other things you can go re.
Speaker D:Watch Friends for, like, the 10th time and be happy.
Speaker C:Listen, y' all got friends.
Speaker C:We got living single.
Speaker C:We're happy.
Speaker F:There you go.
Speaker F:Stop trying to suffer from black.
Speaker D:Stop trying to DEI in places that you don't want to be in because.
Speaker D:Well, let me.
Speaker C:Shut up.
Speaker C:Learn what that term means.
Speaker C:On top of that, the ein won't.
Speaker C:Because it's not what you think they are.
Speaker F:All right, let's not let black fatigue be a thing.
Speaker F:Okay?
Speaker C:I don't know who came up with that bs Black fatigue.
Speaker D:Who?
Speaker A:Who the people Been tired of black people for ever.
Speaker A:This ain't no new term.
Speaker C:They're trying a new term.
Speaker C:That's what it is, right?
Speaker H:Co opting terms that black people use to mean something else.
Speaker D:Black petite.
Speaker C:I wish I've never heard of such thing.
Speaker C:I love being black.
Speaker F:Trust me, all over my YouTube.
Speaker H:Black fatigue is literally the fatigue that black people have from microaggression and microaggressions of racism in their everyday lives and how it affects them mentally, psychologically, physically.
Speaker H:And now they're trying to co opt it to mean we tired of black folk.
Speaker F:Yep.
Speaker F:They're trying to weaponize.
Speaker C:But weren't y' all doing that anyway?
Speaker C:So once again, you're proving.
Speaker C:Yeah, it's called racism.
Speaker C:It's called y' all been doing that anyway.
Speaker C:You just don't know what to call it.
Speaker C:I want to point out something that.
Speaker C:That I think is hilarious because we've all seen Sinners several times.
Speaker C:There's a scene that really, that.
Speaker C:There's tons of scenes that stand out in this film, but there's a scene where it's already going down and.
Speaker C:And Remick is.
Speaker C:Is talking to Smoke, and Smoke says, are you the clan?
Speaker C:There's a look that Remick has in a response that's just like, where I.
Speaker C:I have an Irish clan, but it's clan with a C, not with a K.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker D:Oh.
Speaker A:Genuine.
Speaker C:Yeah, he was genuine with it.
Speaker C:He was like.
Speaker C:He said, are you playing?
Speaker C:He's like, sir, whoa.
Speaker C:We about equality over here.
Speaker C:Look, I know what they do that is not us.
Speaker C:That.
Speaker D:That part forever makes me laugh.
Speaker D:Just the whole just clutch the pearls moment.
Speaker C:It was.
Speaker C:It was a clutch.
Speaker C:And it was like.
Speaker C:Lady M said it was genuine.
Speaker C:He was like, oh, wait a minute.
Speaker F:We don't do that sort of thing over here, sir.
Speaker C:We are all about equality.
Speaker D:That would have made me paranoid back then to hear a dear vampire go, oh, we believe in equality.
Speaker D:A white person.
Speaker D:Click, close the doors.
Speaker D:Close the door.
Speaker C:Because it was just like, yo, wait a minute.
Speaker C:But yeah, he was.
Speaker C:He was genuinely offended by that.
Speaker C:He was like, yo, the way you said that.
Speaker D:The whole thing about the religion with.
Speaker D:With Miles's character reciting the Lord's Prayer, and he's like, that was that part I love too.
Speaker D:He said, oh, the same words were said to me when they came to oppress me.
Speaker D:And I.
Speaker D:I find.
Speaker D:I do still find comfort in those words, but it's like, dang, this is gonna offend so many Religious high.
Speaker C:Look, there's a highly.
Speaker C:People that don't know.
Speaker C:There's a highly different thing between religion and spirituality.
Speaker F:Oh, facts.
Speaker C:It's a totally.
Speaker C:When people's like, how can you.
Speaker C:I'm like, I never said I didn't believe in the Lord above or anything.
Speaker C:The powers that be.
Speaker C:Religion's man made and I don't trust anything man made.
Speaker C:I'm just saying y' all come up with stuff and then twist it and then run with it and then corrupt it.
Speaker H:Y' all can still have y' all.
Speaker D:Tax free tax shelters.
Speaker D:We just, we.
Speaker D:It's just.
Speaker D:Hey, accept the truth for what it is.
Speaker C:I know there's.
Speaker C:I believe in the ancestors and what we were already doing.
Speaker C:And we're like, wait, y' all coming.
Speaker A:Over and doing what now your God is running on.
Speaker A:What is it not?
Speaker A:What is it?
Speaker A:4G and can only be heard in one particular room on the entire planet.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker D:You mean your multi stadiums?
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Hello.
Speaker C:I'm just saying.
Speaker D:I was like.
Speaker C:I didn't say I didn't believe.
Speaker C:It's just like I'm watching you.
Speaker D:But no, no, it did have a lot of messages.
Speaker D:That's why I said I love outsiders.
Speaker D:There is so many messages in that movie and that.
Speaker D:And we could all relate to it.
Speaker D:And that's the thing about.
Speaker D:It was.
Speaker D:It was.
Speaker D:It was historical because again, I had to explain to people because they never picked up a history book or use Google that.
Speaker D:Yes.
Speaker D:That a lot of Latinos.
Speaker D:Why are we in there?
Speaker D: guys weren't there during the: Speaker C:You weren't there.
Speaker D:I hate to break.
Speaker C:I suffer from the same thing Mouth suffers from.
Speaker C:That's what I suffer from is D, A, I, P, F.
Speaker C:That's what it is.
Speaker C:That's.
Speaker C:That's.
Speaker C:That's the term.
Speaker C:Dumbass.
Speaker C:Ignorant.
Speaker C:People fatigue.
Speaker C:That's what I.
Speaker C:I suffer from that.
Speaker C:And that's.
Speaker C:That's everyone.
Speaker C:Like, that is.
Speaker C:That is not a racial thing.
Speaker C:That's everyone.
Speaker C:I'm like, that's the first.
Speaker C:No matter what you look like.
Speaker C:I'm like, did you fall off the truck, baby?
Speaker C:Did you fall off the truck?
Speaker D:Some of them are just proud to be stupid.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker C:James Gunn, you did it again.
Speaker D:You about to play a trailer.
Speaker D:I gotta get some tissue.
Speaker C:Yeah, I already see that.
Speaker C:And we've seen it in the teaser trailer.
Speaker C:I already see that this Superman film is going to be a tearjerker.
Speaker C:In a good way.
Speaker C:Like, like hope in a good way.
Speaker C:And just this trailer he dropped last night.
Speaker C:I'm Just like, oh, you're going for it.
Speaker C:Like, you're going for it.
Speaker C:And I'm with it.
Speaker C:Because me living in Cleveland and this being the home, literally the home of Superman and having him film it here and that be literally the symbol of hope.
Speaker C:And what he.
Speaker C:He said it himself that he was.
Speaker C:He wanted to tell this story.
Speaker C:All Star Superman.
Speaker D:Yep.
Speaker C:You know, that was the inspiration and telling the story about this character that we really haven't seen told in this way, really, since Christopher Reeve.
Speaker C:We've had several iterations of.
Speaker C:Of Superman since then, but it's something about Reeves character that really embodied that same type of hope.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:It's something about it, and it's just.
Speaker C:You can still watch it out.
Speaker C:It don't care how dated it is.
Speaker C:Still watching and be like, you know what?
Speaker C:I get it.
Speaker D:The story still works.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:If you can humanize Superman to actually make him relatable to the everyday world, that story will always hold up.
Speaker C:So, Bama, to answer your question with the creators of Superman from Cleveland.
Speaker C:Yes, they were.
Speaker C:Joe Schuster and Jerry Siegel were from Cleveland.
Speaker C:The house where it was created at is not that far.
Speaker C:It's actually in Midtown Cleveland.
Speaker C:It's near.
Speaker C:Closer to downtown.
Speaker C:They have the.
Speaker C:Is.
Speaker C:It's a house that sits on the corner, and it has a fence, and it actually has some Superman poster and art on there.
Speaker C:So, yeah, this is the home.
Speaker C:It is.
Speaker C:It's considered a historical landmark.
Speaker C:They actually have a Superman statue in the airport.
Speaker C:So, like, when people are coming in and they're coming up the escalator, you.
Speaker C:That's who meets you.
Speaker C:Is his.
Speaker C:Is his statue.
Speaker D:Ah.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker C:So, yeah, it's.
Speaker C:It's actually really good.
Speaker C:I went to the airport just to take pictures before.
Speaker C:Like, I had no other reason to be there.
Speaker C:I was like.
Speaker C:I wasn't picking up or dropping off.
Speaker C:I'm like, I think I rode in with my mother.
Speaker C:She was doing something, and I was right with you.
Speaker C:She was coming up from.
Speaker C:I'm riding with you.
Speaker D:Y' all got something cool in your airport?
Speaker D:All we have is a guitar.
Speaker C:There's a lot of cool.
Speaker C:There's a lot of cool and hidden gems in this city.
Speaker C:I have yet to discover them all, but, yeah, that's.
Speaker C:That's probably one of the few that stand out, is knowing that Superman was created here.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:So we're gonna check that trailer out right now.
Speaker C:As far as.
Speaker C:Go ahead and grab Zeri's baby wipes or something.
Speaker D:I'm good.
Speaker D:I got a blanket.
Speaker C:Well, her blanket, the baby.
Speaker C:Blake Got a damn LUS over here.
Speaker D:Missouri is knocked out.
Speaker D:She don't mind Mommy using her blanket.
Speaker C:Lord.
Speaker D:So here we go.
Speaker C:We're gonna check that out.
Speaker C:Now.
Speaker C:Serious right now.
Speaker C:Are you being serious right now?
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:You'd let me interview you as Superman?
Speaker D:Sure.
Speaker C:Ready?
Speaker C:Let's do it.
Speaker D:Cronkite.
Speaker C:Superman.
Speaker D:Ms.
Speaker D:Lane.
Speaker C:Recently, you've come under a lot of fire.
Speaker C:For what?
Speaker C:Some might.
Speaker C:It's a lot.
Speaker A:He asked.
Speaker A:He asked today.
Speaker C:The Secretary of defense said he was going to look into your actions.
Speaker C:That's funny.
Speaker C:My actions?
Speaker D:I stopped a war.
Speaker D:Maybe not.
Speaker D:Maybe I did.
Speaker C:In effect.
Speaker C:You illegally entered a country.
Speaker D:This is how you're gonna be.
Speaker C:I'm not the one being interviewed.
Speaker C:Superman.
Speaker C:Did you consult with the president?
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:You seemingly acting as a representative.
Speaker D:I wasn't representing anybody except for me and doing good.
Speaker C:I would question myself in the same situation and consider the consequences.
Speaker D:People were going to die.
Speaker D:Hey, buddy, eyes up here.
Speaker C:Your choices, your actions, that's what makes you who you are.
Speaker F:Superman.
Speaker C:He'S not a man.
Speaker C:He's an.
Speaker F:It.
Speaker C:Somehow become the focal point of the entire world's conversation.
Speaker C:I will not accept that.
Speaker C:I cleaned your boots.
Speaker C:I'll go get them for you.
Speaker C:You have a dog.
Speaker D:Nice.
Speaker F:I love it.
Speaker C:There's a scene in here where he hits the ground and a guy, a simple civilian, helps him up.
Speaker C:And I'm like, yeah, first the dog and now this.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:I think you're onto something.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker C:Because he's just, like.
Speaker C:He's always helping people.
Speaker C:And why wouldn't the people want to help back?
Speaker F:All it shows is that the wrong voices are speaking out loud of what the danger is, when in actuality, they are the danger themselves.
Speaker F:It is, you know, anything that's different is the threat.
Speaker F:And you could clearly see that even though Lois is trying to be this unbiased reporter, you could still kind of see it in there as she's doing this interview.
Speaker F:And I'm going, wow, this is what this tone is going to bring.
Speaker C:And it's.
Speaker D:It.
Speaker D:That is.
Speaker D:That.
Speaker D:That still is great.
Speaker D:Because it's funny where, you know, Lois being Lois, I'm going to do exactly what they're going to do to you at the hearing.
Speaker C:Right?
Speaker C:And it's like.
Speaker D:But the whole thing of Superman losing is cool.
Speaker D:What I was trying to explain to people, you'd be surprised the very few times we've seen Superman actually lose his cool.
Speaker D:It's very.
Speaker F:Come on, now, tell it.
Speaker C:Homelander could never.
Speaker F:I'm just saying, him and the Plutonian would be tag team partners.
Speaker F:Okay.
Speaker C:But it's definitely the look.
Speaker C:Say it.
Speaker C:Say it.
Speaker A:I'm sorry.
Speaker A:Scoreboard Symphony.
Speaker A:We're friends.
Speaker A:We are just what you wrote.
Speaker A:We are friends.
Speaker C:I'll put it back up.
Speaker C:He says the brightness is from Reeves.
Speaker C:The dark parts are similar to Gabille.
Speaker C:What Gun and David is.
Speaker C:Is adding is this fantastical world with width and depth that feels lived in and in ways we've never seen in D.C.
Speaker C:in this.
Speaker D:Yeah, exactly.
Speaker C:This is true.
Speaker C:We have it.
Speaker C:That level of what Christopher Reeves brought.
Speaker C:Different time, but it brought that.
Speaker C:Like you said, that brightness we couldn't.
Speaker C:It couldn't bring.
Speaker C:They couldn't go that level.
Speaker C:They didn't have what they have now.
Speaker C:Of course.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker C:But that is.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's on par for what people are looking for.
Speaker C:Big Red draws outside and all that stuff.
Speaker C:Like, that's.
Speaker C:That's.
Speaker C:That's the man, you know, and the.
Speaker C:We seen in a teaser trailer with Crypto.
Speaker C:We.
Speaker C:We're seeing it now when he's fighting, when he goes up against the Engineer, like.
Speaker C:Oh.
Speaker D:And shout out to old boy.
Speaker D:Shout out.
Speaker D:I'm sorry.
Speaker D:Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.
Speaker D:Here.
Speaker A:I really thought that was Mercy.
Speaker A:I'm not gonna hold you.
Speaker C:Yeah, that's the Engineer.
Speaker C:Because, like, Gun said, he's bringing in characters.
Speaker C:He's bringing in characters that we have not seen on screen or even in animation ever.
Speaker C:You know?
Speaker C:You know, for that matter.
Speaker C:Ladies in the building.
Speaker C:Oh, my gosh.
Speaker C:Hi.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker I:Family.
Speaker C:I think.
Speaker C:I think what we're seeing now is, for one, Gun knows emotion very well.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:When it comes to these types of characters, he knows how to bring that type of emotion.
Speaker C:He.
Speaker C:The first thing I thought of it was like, it'd be nice if he shot here in Cleveland.
Speaker C:What did he do?
Speaker C:There's a good portion of this film shot here in Cleveland and in Cincinnati.
Speaker C: the hall of justice from the: Speaker C:And he shot down there, too.
Speaker C:Like, the man knows his stuff.
Speaker C:He.
Speaker C:He said, no, you got a real fan here.
Speaker C:I'm giving all due diligence to this character, and it's going to be right.
Speaker D:And the humanizing.
Speaker D:That's why he.
Speaker D:I'm.
Speaker D:I'm still stuck on that because I've said this.
Speaker D:And again, I say before.
Speaker D:I say again, this is where Snyder failed.
Speaker D:You did not humanize a superhero to make him relatable.
Speaker D:You decided to go a different route.
Speaker D:Gun did.
Speaker D:Gun did in what, three trailers now.
Speaker D:In three trailers.
Speaker D:He is.
Speaker D:You have yet to hear anybody say that they're not gonna be watching this.
Speaker D:And come July, that part.
Speaker D:Three trailers.
Speaker D:Three trailers.
Speaker D:He's shown actually think about.
Speaker D:I think about in three throws.
Speaker D:He's shown three different things.
Speaker D:He's shown.
Speaker D:He's literally.
Speaker D:I mean, he.
Speaker D:We got introduced to Crypto in the second trailer.
Speaker D:And now we're getting introduced to the complication that the world is not always going to be rosy because Superman's actions.
Speaker D:And you still have Lex Luthor hating with a look.
Speaker D:He ain't said too much words yet.
Speaker D:That's the part that.
Speaker D:That's the part that I love the fact you get the right actor, you get the right look, and this man just walks in GQ drip immediately hates Superman.
Speaker D:And you can tell without him saying a dog.
Speaker D:He didn't said a dog a wordy in the trailers yet.
Speaker D:So you.
Speaker D:You hear.
Speaker C:You hear.
Speaker C:Oh, you hear the him narrating.
Speaker C:But that's something.
Speaker C:It's not.
Speaker C:No scenes.
Speaker C:It was.
Speaker C:It was.
Speaker C:So there is.
Speaker C:This is.
Speaker C:That says a lot about what Gun is doing with this frame.
Speaker C:And not only that, you're giving shine to characters that we've always seen on Arrow and.
Speaker C:Or Legends of Tomorrow.
Speaker C:And it's the first time we're seeing Guy Gardner in live action.
Speaker C:And that's tying into Peacemaker and tying into Lanterns.
Speaker C:What's he shooting for HBO Max now?
Speaker D:Yes.
Speaker C:That's what it's called.
Speaker C:That's a whole nother story.
Speaker C:Like how you dead name yourself.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker C:So seeing those types of.
Speaker C:These types of actions taking place in a film, in a friend, which.
Speaker C:This is going to be a franchise.
Speaker C:I already know that is in a franchise like this.
Speaker C:And knowing how to tell those stories, I sat back and watched a lot of James Gunn projects outside of the D.C.
Speaker C:stuff.
Speaker C:And it wasn't until he started doing Guardians and Peacemaker and Creature Commando that I'm looking.
Speaker C:I'm like, dude, you're really tapping into emotion.
Speaker C:You're tapping into, like, character building and literally character building.
Speaker C:And this is what I'm liking from people like him.
Speaker C:This is what I'm liking from people like Ryan Coogler.
Speaker C:This is.
Speaker C:I want to see that, you know?
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:There's a way to do it.
Speaker D:Yep.
Speaker C:Without overdoing it.
Speaker A:So it's narrative audience, like they're infantile.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker A:Ask them.
Speaker A:Make them go up a notch.
Speaker A:It's okay to bring people up with you with your stuff.
Speaker A:You don't have to go over their heads.
Speaker A:But just.
Speaker A:Just Open the door.
Speaker A:Just crack it.
Speaker A:Make them think a little bit past what they're seeing in front of their face.
Speaker D:That part, that part, that part.
Speaker H:I feel like the trailer was amazing.
Speaker H:The last iteration of Superman, in my opinion.
Speaker H:They were trying to find their place in a world that had the super serious Nolan films.
Speaker H:We.
Speaker H:Marvel was doing their own thing and they were trying to like, carve out a space.
Speaker H:And to me, it always felt rushed.
Speaker H:The last set of it always felt rushed to me, like they were trying to catch up.
Speaker H:At the point that they entered the fray, Marvel was already 10 years into making their movies and they were fighting so hard to catch up and grab a little bit of that money.
Speaker H:And it seems like with this, I'm not going to say 100% because we don't have the finished product yet, but it seems like he's trying to make a film for the.
Speaker H:Not just the fans, but to bring new people in that will enjoy the franchise.
Speaker H:Because clearly, like you said, it's gonna be a franchise.
Speaker I:To your point, I feel like he's also making a film that's already had the franchise lived in.
Speaker H:Right.
Speaker I:So point, now you're bringing.
Speaker I:Bringing everybody in on an already viable world of different superheroes and not trying to make your own superhero move for this one, your own superhero move for that one, like Marvel did.
Speaker I:And that was okay because it worked for Marvel.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker I:But it did not work for DC.
Speaker H:For the most part.
Speaker I:And he's not gonna be like, oh, I'm just gonna give you like a tape of this person.
Speaker I:That's your intro.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker I:Okay.
Speaker I:This person is already here.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker H:These.
Speaker I:These superheroes are already here.
Speaker I:You're already mean that.
Speaker I:And not only that, you're breathing them into different places.
Speaker I:So Creature Commando, like you guys said, Peacemaker, like you guys said, they're all intertwining now in a smart way, not in a, like a forced way.
Speaker C:Yeah, I agree.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's definitely.
Speaker C:And he stated that Gun actually stated that this world is lived in already.
Speaker C:You don't need the, the, the origin stories.
Speaker C:We know this character has been around 70 plus years.
Speaker C:There's.
Speaker C:You don't need the origin story anymore.
Speaker A:We have the Internet.
Speaker H:Like, to build on what you just said.
Speaker H:Like, that's kind of also what made the Sony Spider man movies better.
Speaker H:We didn't have to sit through the whole Uncle Ben die this way thing to get to where we needed to be, do we?
Speaker H:We don't need.
Speaker H:At this point, we really don't need another.
Speaker H:An intro.
Speaker H:Yes, we Know how he got here.
Speaker H:And if you don't, Google's free.
Speaker A:Read a book.
Speaker C:Like Lil John say, read a book.
Speaker C:Read a book.
Speaker F:Read it.
Speaker C:But I can definitely appreciate what he's doing with this character in this world and this growing franchise.
Speaker C:Like, he's.
Speaker C:He's about.
Speaker C:He's firing on all pins at this point.
Speaker C:And he's just like, yo, get ready.
Speaker C:Like this stuff is working.
Speaker C:Like, let me.
Speaker C:Was it all.
Speaker C:I think we're going to see the Justice League in Aug.
Speaker C:Well, just what is it?
Speaker C:The Justice Society.
Speaker C:I want to think they probably.
Speaker C:We're going to be seeing them in Peace Maker first.
Speaker H:Oh, right.
Speaker C:And then.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker C:July, August.
Speaker C:No, no, we're gonna see him in Superman first and then in Peacemaker.
Speaker C:That's what it is.
Speaker C:And then I think Lanterns is next year.
Speaker D:Yep.
Speaker C:And we'll already have Guy Gardner introduced, so he's.
Speaker D:You gotta get the most out that bowl.
Speaker D:Cut.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker F:Come on now.
Speaker C:So bad.
Speaker C:Look this.
Speaker C:Look, they got the perfect guy to blame.
Speaker C:I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker C:He was just.
Speaker F:That poll is perfect.
Speaker F:Okay.
Speaker D:I was gonna say we're finally getting Nathan Filon in a hero in a.
Speaker D:Even though we couldn't get him as.
Speaker D:We couldn't give him as Hal.
Speaker D:We couldn't give his Nathan Drake.
Speaker D:I'm just happy we got him in a superhero movie period.
Speaker D:Outside of TDK for those.
Speaker D:That too.
Speaker D:Nobody's.
Speaker C:Oh, my God.
Speaker C:But yeah, it's.
Speaker C:I'm looking forward to that.
Speaker C:You know that.
Speaker C:That's definitely a film.
Speaker C:I was like, mind up already.
Speaker C:You don't even have to sell me on it.
Speaker C:I know what this guy is capable of doing.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:I can't.
Speaker C:You have it missed.
Speaker C:You have it have it missed.
Speaker C:You took a previous franchise that was already tanking and made it better.
Speaker C:Like they watched your sequel to a film, Su the Suicide Squad.
Speaker C:You took the Suicide Squad and made it better.
Speaker D:I got one better than the original.
Speaker D:I got one better.
Speaker D:He took creature commandos and basically made not only people go back and get the comics, but turn around and made that one of the more watched series.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:On the.
Speaker D:On the HBO Identity Crisis platforms.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker I:So that part.
Speaker C:It was definitely looking forward to that.
Speaker C:To that film.
Speaker C:But yeah, I do like what he's building in that world.
Speaker C:What's go ahead is.
Speaker H:I'm sorry.
Speaker A:First I need a refresher.
Speaker A:Warner Brothers gave Ryan Coogler that deal, right?
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker A:I don't want him to go to Warner bro.
Speaker D:I don't want him to go come to the Identity Crisis Platform.
Speaker C:There's two people that's digging Warner Brothers out of their.
Speaker C:Their muck right now.
Speaker C:It is Cooler.
Speaker C:And Gun, right now.
Speaker C:They're kind of.
Speaker C:They're kind of digging them out.
Speaker D:Like, yo, we.
Speaker C:We got projects that's about to make everybody happy.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker A:Only because they're so the same.
Speaker D:They're so the same.
Speaker D:Come to the identity.
Speaker C:Learn something.
Speaker C:Why are they.
Speaker A:They're too much.
Speaker A:This.
Speaker A:And here.
Speaker A:Take the keys to the castle.
Speaker A:I don't want them to go way.
Speaker F:Don't hold back.
Speaker F:Tell us how you really feel.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker C:Give him the money.
Speaker A:Just turn your head, Disney.
Speaker A:Just go away.
Speaker A:Just whatever you want.
Speaker A:Don't stop looking in his general direction.
Speaker A:Look down when you talk to him.
Speaker C:Have it.
Speaker D:Yo, somebody just.
Speaker D:Somebody miss her wires, Yo.
Speaker C:Oh, my God.
Speaker C:No, but I.
Speaker C:I think they're.
Speaker C:They're definitely going to be in a good place with those.
Speaker C:With this franchise, and they'll be completely fine.
Speaker C:Completely fine.
Speaker C:It looks like pretty much.
Speaker C:I'm.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker C:With the track record Gun has right now with the DC Universe, I'm wondering what that Lanterns trailer is going to look like.
Speaker D:They start off with Blackest Night.
Speaker C:That.
Speaker C:That might be something pretty intense.
Speaker D:I would say.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:I will.
Speaker D:The only reason why I say that, because it's the easiest story to do.
Speaker D:And if you're doing a true detective story, that would make that line up with it.
Speaker C:I mean, they kind of did some.
Speaker C:I got a gut feeling if it's anything like the road trip that.
Speaker C:How.
Speaker C:And Green Arrow went on, if it's anything like that, or have elements of it or have.
Speaker C:Yeah, look.
Speaker C:So there.
Speaker C:There's a.
Speaker C:There's a series of.
Speaker C:There's a book series, and it's called how.
Speaker C:It's called Green Arrow.
Speaker C:Green Arrow, Green Lantern.
Speaker A:And I honestly thought that y' all were talking about a show, and I'm like, what?
Speaker C:Oh, no, no, no.
Speaker C:And basically, it's Green Arrow.
Speaker C:It's almost.
Speaker C:It's not a buddy cop comedy type vibe.
Speaker C:It's more of a buddy cop drama.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:And it's like Green Arrow is very much street level.
Speaker C:I don't care how rich I am.
Speaker C:I'm still street level.
Speaker C:I'm handling the stuff.
Speaker C:And he's even said in the Justice League cartoon, I'm handling the stuff that you guys won't touch.
Speaker C:Like, there's still purse snatchers, rapists, and whatever else down here.
Speaker C:Who's going to handle them?
Speaker C:You know?
Speaker C:And so he still goes out and handles that.
Speaker C:That serious stuff.
Speaker C:And he's looking at how Jordan, like that.
Speaker C:This whole journey that day, they literally are going across the country just learning.
Speaker C:Learning stuff.
Speaker C:And arrows.
Speaker C:Learning, you know, teaching them stuff.
Speaker C:How is teaching him stuff?
Speaker C:And he's like, basically, yo, you're like a.
Speaker C:You're a cop.
Speaker C:You're a cop.
Speaker C:Not everybody down here is a criminal.
Speaker C:They.
Speaker C:They touched on racism.
Speaker C:They touched on bullying.
Speaker C:They touched on so many issues that, like, the one with the racism arrow got in house tail.
Speaker C:Like, yo, wait a minute, dude.
Speaker C:You're too much like a cop.
Speaker C:You're not hearing people out.
Speaker C:And I don't mean like the butthole cops we got nowadays, you know, that don't care.
Speaker C:Like, no, he's literally in cop mode.
Speaker C:He's a space cop.
Speaker C:He's in cop mode.
Speaker C:And the first thing he hears is crime activity.
Speaker C:Who's involved?
Speaker C:No, wait, you didn't ask the right questions.
Speaker C:Your assumptions are.
Speaker C:Are off.
Speaker D:But then we also found out that on a whim, that.
Speaker D:That Oliver could actually use Hal's ring by accident.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker D:I had to make sure.
Speaker D:I remember.
Speaker D:I had to give.
Speaker D:I had to make sure I was remembering my comics.
Speaker D:Right?
Speaker D:Because I was like, I think that was it.
Speaker D:I think that was the arc where he found out he could use the ring.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:It's all about willpower.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:If you have the willpower, you can use it.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's the same with Batman.
Speaker C:Batman can use either the green or the yellow.
Speaker C:Hello.
Speaker C:He has the willpower to use.
Speaker C:He has the willpower to use a Green Lantern ring.
Speaker C:He causes enough fear criminals to use the yellow.
Speaker C:Oh, wow.
Speaker D:I thought it was blue, too, but I could be wrong.
Speaker D:Three rings, but it could be two.
Speaker C:Flash was blue.
Speaker C:Flash had the Flash.
Speaker C:He had the blue ring.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:So he is.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's funny because even in the See the Batman animated series, that's when he's using the green ring and he's not the least, bit, like, impressed.
Speaker C:It's just he.
Speaker I:He.
Speaker C:The ring flies to him.
Speaker C:It gets on his hand, he ends up flying straight up, and he's just kind of like.
Speaker D:That'S what.
Speaker D:That's when Hal just looked at him as like, this fool could use our powers.
Speaker C:This fool.
Speaker C:It was so nonchalant.
Speaker C:He was just like, you know.
Speaker C:You know, most people get a ring, first thing they trying to do is like, they don't know how to fly.
Speaker C:Bruce is like, I got this.
Speaker D:Of all the constructs.
Speaker D:Of all the constructs you have with a green power ring.
Speaker D:I'm like, sir, first thing I'm doing is getting myself wings.
Speaker C:So we're gonna come right back, we're gonna talk about some more nerdy news and closing out the season about some of our favorite moments and whatever else.
Speaker F:No, no.
Speaker C:We'Ll be.
Speaker C:Let's reach out one time.
Speaker I:Sa.
Speaker C:Now.

Speaker G:Understand I got a lot on my mind a lot on my chest Starting the war with these stars you won't get far this is the way you play a game of life A death star so far removed from the drama we don't notice but won't hesitate to shed a light like a patronus with mis managed troubles added disadvantage must be something in the water dip your toe because you know it's warm where can you find another show with such a fine cast?
Speaker G:And if you try to box them in they playing minecraft and basically to sum it up like you define now this crew's the best and it figures like a line graph I'm very band like the words I do I know hate it you don't have to have absurd IQs they know you can't relate because they're nerds like you help you see the world from a blur you are now tuned in to blur view and without further ado, we out.

Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:Created the black version.
Speaker D:Then I'd owe him everything.
Speaker C:This is Chris Fury.
Speaker C:This is Lady Mandalore.
Speaker C:We're here with Ahmed Best.
Speaker D:But the tone of it is really what we found.
Speaker C:Blurred Station.
Speaker F:Yes.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:All right.
Speaker C:Apology, sir.
Speaker F:I wasn't really familiar with the game.

Speaker C:It.
Speaker C:All right, we are back and I'm at the bottom.
Speaker C:So does it.
Speaker C:Whatever.
Speaker C:Anyway, so real quick.
Speaker C:Well, something else I noticed in the Superman trailer, the scene where he's being brought in, right?
Speaker C:And they throw the can at his hand.
Speaker C:Now, he was like.
Speaker C:He blinked his eye off.
Speaker C:Like, the man's human.
Speaker C:If you talk about the actor, he's human.
Speaker C:Other than that, yeah, they fix that.
Speaker C:But there's this a lot for that scene where he doesn't blink.
Speaker C:And that happens because Homelander could never.
Speaker C:I'm just saying we won't compare apples to oranges over here.
Speaker C:Even when he.
Speaker C:Even when Lois is interviewing him and he's getting upset because he's like, I'm Doing something good.
Speaker C:But she's trying to show him.
Speaker C:This is how they're going to grill you, so be prepared.
Speaker C:I'm trying to help you prepare.
Speaker C:And in the case of Homelander.
Speaker C:Homelander could not take that criticism.
Speaker C:He can't.
Speaker C:He doesn't.
Speaker C:He doesn't have the.
Speaker C:The gravitas to handle it.
Speaker C:His ego was too much.
Speaker C:He cannot handle that level.
Speaker C:Even in practice, he cannot handle that level of pressure.
Speaker C:Like, you know what?
Speaker C:I can take care of all of you right now, and I think I will.
Speaker C:So that's his.
Speaker C:Clark.
Speaker C:Clark.
Speaker C:Clark isn't like that, right?
Speaker C:He's like, look.
Speaker D:Man.
Speaker F:Fragility.
Speaker D:Yeah, that's Couldn't.
Speaker C:Couldn't be.
Speaker C:Couldn't be more true.
Speaker C:In other news.
Speaker C:That part, right?
Speaker C:Ryan Kiera Armstrong, who we last seen on Star wars the Skeleton Crew as Fern, has been cast as the new Slayer for.
Speaker C:Not the book.
Speaker C:The.
Speaker C:The Vampire Slayer reboot.
Speaker C:It's a revival, so it sounds like a continuation.
Speaker C:Not starting over.
Speaker F:Ladies and gentlemen, let's move on to the next topic, please.
Speaker I:I'm here for that.
Speaker C:Like, if they.
Speaker C:If it's.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's stated as a revival.
Speaker C:I'll take it.
Speaker D:That's.
Speaker D:That's different.
Speaker F:Yeah, we'll move on to the next topic.
Speaker F:Yeah.
Speaker C:Hey, Buffy is still.
Speaker C:Buffy's still involved.
Speaker C:I mean, which she is.
Speaker C:I'm.
Speaker C:I'm in.
Speaker C:I'm in.
Speaker C:So Sarah Michelle Geller is still involved.
Speaker D:And.
Speaker C:Here we are.
Speaker C:Good night and good luck.
Speaker F:I only have one thing to say about that Charmed remix.
Speaker D:I see what you did there.
Speaker C:Well, they need to put it.
Speaker I:Versus being on Hulu, so we're hoping that it's going to be different creative juices behind it.
Speaker F:The juices got spoiled.
Speaker F:Okay.
Speaker F:They.
Speaker F:They had said expiration date.
Speaker F:They should have been taken off the shelves.
Speaker C:Yeah, I mean, we did have.
Speaker C:We did.
Speaker C:We did have.
Speaker C:Pray so.
Speaker H:Exactly.
Speaker I:But then you also had that.
Speaker C:What is it?
Speaker I:That Dr.
Speaker I:Giggles person.
Speaker I:That was horrible.
Speaker I:So I don't know.
Speaker C:Oh, man.
Speaker C:Dr.
Speaker C:Giggles.
Speaker C:Jeez.
Speaker C:So, as I said before.
Speaker C:Oh, wait, I can't think of the name, but yeah, I know what you're talking about.
Speaker D:As I stated earlier, this is season 15.
Speaker C:This is season finale.
Speaker C:We've had a lot of shining moments during the season.
Speaker C:We've had some ups and downs in our personal, personal lives.
Speaker C:But as a crew, always does.
Speaker C:We always check on each other.
Speaker C:We support each other, we lift each other up.
Speaker C:And we also encourage other people or people that watched and supported us.
Speaker C:We do the same But I want to just do like a quick roundtable.
Speaker C:Well, I don't want to say quick, but I want to do a nice roundtable on what was their favorite moments from the season.
Speaker C:And I know Too Far is going to tell everybody where we're going to be at because even though we're not going to be here, we're going to.
Speaker C:To be out in the world.
Speaker C:You know, we may even do a popup online between what, now and mid July, late July.
Speaker C:Who knows?
Speaker C:You never.
Speaker C:You never know.
Speaker C:So we'll start.
Speaker C:We'll start with our real some moments.
Speaker C:You.
Speaker C:You take what took away from this past season and what are you looking forward to?
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker I:Obviously flurcon and being at work on also being a lot more in the gaming room shout out to Navy because.
Speaker I:And actually, even though it's my fourth year, that was my first year actually being in there.
Speaker I:And I'm just so sorry I missed the denomination.
Speaker I:I'm so sorry I missed her.
Speaker I:I mean, I'm so sorry I missed them.
Speaker I:We tried.
Speaker I:It is what it is.
Speaker I:I think that we just had some amazing black excellence come out in Hollywood this year.
Speaker I:And just to chop it all off with just us geeking out really heavily on Sinners made my day.
Speaker F:Okay.
Speaker I:Because like, we knew Sinners was gonna be great.
Speaker I:We ain't know it's gonna be multilayerly great.
Speaker I:And the fact that we were able to really just talk about that for a couple of weeks.
Speaker I:It wasn't even like a day we were able to talk about that.
Speaker I:A couple weeks to live in that black horror space made.
Speaker I:That's mine.
Speaker F:Gotcha.
Speaker C:I agree.
Speaker C:Like, we're still living in that black horse.
Speaker C:I'm like.
Speaker C:I'm just saying.
Speaker C:It's Lady Mandor.
Speaker C:I think I have an idea with one of your biggest takeaways is.
Speaker C:But I'll let you tell me what you.
Speaker C:What was your biggest takeaway from the season and.
Speaker C:And what you're looking forward to.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker A:You know what?
Speaker A:I'm not gonna hold you.
Speaker A:I'm having a mild stroke of everything that we did this year.
Speaker I:Same since about January.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:It's only been four months.
Speaker A:So like, look, listen, look.
Speaker A: l back stuff that happened in: Speaker A:I'm trying.
Speaker A:I'm legitimately.
Speaker A:Aside from like major travel events, which obviously, you know, everything has been kind of a blur for me this year.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:I will.
Speaker A:I'm not gonna hold you.
Speaker A:I love when we have guests on.
Speaker A:But I love it more when it's just us vibing.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker A:Those are the moments that I really the most.
Speaker A:I love finding out about our guests.
Speaker A:I love finding out new things to get attached to.
Speaker A:But the time where we're acting the goddamn ass on here and just vibing with one another, I enjoyed most out of all of that baby's face every time we put on the holy roll of music.
Speaker F:I'm sorry.
Speaker A:Music.
Speaker A:I loved it when we surprised you with the theme music.
Speaker C:Lie that.
Speaker C:That the first time I premiered it, the look he had was like, that was beautiful.
Speaker E:That was from.
Speaker E:That went from a joke to reality.
Speaker E:That went from a joke to reality.
Speaker F:Every time.
Speaker D:Now, the reverend needed his moment whenever he feels a sermon that comes on.
Speaker C:And it was it.
Speaker C:It hit it hidden away.
Speaker C:He was like, the first thing they can say was like, mega.
Speaker C:I'm like, had to happen.
Speaker C:It had to happen.
Speaker F:Y' all made me blush on national Internet.
Speaker F:That was the strangest thing in the world.
Speaker C:But Spartan.
Speaker C:No, no, no, no, no.
Speaker C:Go ahead.
Speaker A:Always seeing y' all live and in person.
Speaker A:And Tafari surprise birthday party.
Speaker A:That was fun.
Speaker A:And then also.
Speaker C:I'm mad.
Speaker C:I couldn't make that.
Speaker C:I was so mad.
Speaker C:I couldn't make that.
Speaker A:Listen, look, it almost didn't happen.
Speaker A:It's several times for several reasons.
Speaker A:It almost didn't happen.
Speaker E:Look, don't, don't tell me a solid day and then the day gets switched and no one tells me why.
Speaker A:We gonna talk after the show.
Speaker D:But.
Speaker A:The biggest thing is, is the Janelle Monae magic that happened, like, out of nowhere.
Speaker A:That was.
Speaker A:That was awesome, too.
Speaker C:That was awesome.
Speaker C:Something else that was spoken into reality.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker C:Because I literally, in our blurred station chat, me being the director, I said, we get this.
Speaker C:I want Kira and Flo to run run point.
Speaker C:It's only right.
Speaker C:I, I, I, I'm get it.
Speaker A:Oh, there's a block.
Speaker F:That's her Uno laugh, right?
Speaker C:That whole.
Speaker C:If it wasn't for Navy running point on that.
Speaker C:You know when I, when I say.
Speaker C:He was like.
Speaker C:They said that this, this, and this and this.
Speaker C:And I said, rules.
Speaker C:We do rules.
Speaker C:Did they forget who they were dealing with?
Speaker A:I'm like, rocket, I'm gonna get that.
Speaker A:I'm get the hand.
Speaker F:We gonna make this happen.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Like, one thing, one thing I can say that you can bank on on this crew is we want you to tell us no just so we can be petty enough to go against the grain.
Speaker A:I like the soft life.
Speaker A:I'm not gonna say I want you to tell me.
Speaker C:No smoke.
Speaker F:However, I'LL read your body language and go translate.
Speaker F:You're an idiot.
Speaker F:We're gonna do this anyway.
Speaker C:All right.
Speaker C:Because I'm telling you, when somebody say yeah, y' all can't do.
Speaker C:I'm like this.
Speaker C:Let me show you better than I need.
Speaker C:Tell me.
Speaker C:I look.
Speaker C:You thought Lex Luther had an ego.
Speaker C:Wait till you tell me.
Speaker C:No right to do.
Speaker C:Just watch.
Speaker C:So far.
Speaker E:I think getting ready to go over all the Blurred TV we watch between what?
Speaker E:Spider Man, Daredevil, Goonies in space.
Speaker C:That's just what it was.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker E:So just getting to connect with that because I really.
Speaker E:Outside my brother, I don't have anybody else in my house to really talk about it with, so.
Speaker E:Looking forward to those with y' all every week.
Speaker E:Yes.
Speaker E:I appreciate the birthday party at Blurred Gun.
Speaker E:Thank you.
Speaker E:I like.
Speaker E:I like bowling.
Speaker E:Thank you.
Speaker F:Body language from.
Speaker F:From Lady Mandalore.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker D:That was suspect.
Speaker E:Our waiter was also.
Speaker E:I think our waiter was just a nice lady.
Speaker E:And that was it.
Speaker E:So.
Speaker D:This story.
Speaker E:No, because one of the one.
Speaker E:Because what was it?
Speaker E:I ordered, like, a milkshake or something, and it was taking, like, a hot minute.
Speaker E:Like the whole city was on strike or something.
Speaker E:Between that and Flo's lemonade, which took an hour the day before.
Speaker C:Hey.
Speaker A:Oh, yeah.
Speaker F:That was weird.
Speaker F:Wow.
Speaker E:I don't know.
Speaker E:But then this.
Speaker E:So the girl who was, like, taking our order, I guess she would have made the milkshake and stuff and brings it out.
Speaker E:She's like, yeah, I don't think it's that great, but I want to just do it, help you out here.
Speaker E:I didn't think anything of it.
Speaker E:Apparently everyone else there was like, that.
Speaker A:Is not all that she said.
Speaker A:But go off.
Speaker C:What did.
Speaker C:I don't.
Speaker C:Please.
Speaker E:Because I don't fully remember.
Speaker C:What.
Speaker E:What did she say?
Speaker E:No, no.
Speaker D:Go ahead.
Speaker A:Ever had.
Speaker D:And here's what really happened.
Speaker E:My memory is.
Speaker E:My memory is more on the food.
Speaker E:Kira, please, by all means, recall.
Speaker A:Oh, my God.
Speaker A:That was your moment.
Speaker C:I'm not.
Speaker I:That's your birthday party's birthday party.
Speaker E:I almost said I was handed food.
Speaker E:My eyes went immediately the food.
Speaker E:And then everyone else is like, so what was that?
Speaker E:I'm like, what was what?
Speaker E:I.
Speaker E:That was chocolate and stuff in a cup.
Speaker A:That's lean.
Speaker I:You are such a very nice guy.
Speaker I:That's all I'm gonna.
Speaker C:Look.
Speaker C:They want the detail.
Speaker E:Like, please, by all means.
Speaker D:They're not gonna say it.
Speaker D:Now, one of y' all remind me.
Speaker E:What she said, because I fully don't remember.
Speaker I:Guys, remember how it went.
Speaker I:And I'M just was like, wow.
Speaker I:Okay.
Speaker C:Was it.
Speaker C:Was it a flirtation moment?
Speaker A:The tip was already included.
Speaker A:She did not have to work as hard as she did.
Speaker D:I want to say pause, but I don't think it's appropriate.
Speaker E:I didn't.
Speaker C:Nothing.
Speaker E:I didn't think it was a big deal until I.
Speaker E:Until I got the post game interview from these two.
Speaker D:So he.
Speaker C:So he was oblivious.
Speaker C:He was oblivious.
Speaker D:Hence.
Speaker E:Hence why.
Speaker E:Hence why my memory of whatever she said is locked away with those two.
Speaker E:So if you want to know, ask them.
Speaker C:World remembers.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:I remember the food.
Speaker C:That's the clip Petrick peppered.
Speaker C:FR remembers.
Speaker C:That's the clip right there.
Speaker C:She.
Speaker E:She did her thing.
Speaker E:I appreciate it.
Speaker E:But bowling was fun.
Speaker C:This.
Speaker E:This stream was fine.
Speaker E:Getting hang out with everybody again.
Speaker D:Again.
Speaker E:Just getting to see people in real life.
Speaker F:Oh, I.
Speaker F:I plan to just.
Speaker C:Oh, my goodness.
Speaker E:Getting to hang out with everybody irl.
Speaker E:Getting to cross over to this next chapter of life with my friends.
Speaker E:So that's just some of the cool people we've had come through who we've met or supported before, and then we finally get to make that connection with them now.
Speaker E:So it's been fun.
Speaker C:A lot of.
Speaker E:Lot of television, a lot of.
Speaker E:Lot of tantrums, lot of tangents.
Speaker C:Oh, a lot of tangents.
Speaker C:A lot of tangents.
Speaker C:It's like I start using a red alarm for the tangent.
Speaker C:I'm like, that right?
Speaker C:Makes some good stuff whoopty.
Speaker C:What's your takeaways from this?
Speaker C:Even?
Speaker H:You guys are a beacon in my week and just coming on and being able to talk about all the foolishness that I like to talk about people that know what I'm talking about makes my.
Speaker H:Makes my day.
Speaker C:I know the feeling.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker C:As long as I've been married to my wife and the flirtation things I say that come from nerd stuff.
Speaker C:Like, I can't tell you how many times I've told her I'll be in my bunk.
Speaker C:And she's like, what are you talking about?
Speaker C:I'm like.
Speaker H:I have a sibling who swears she's not a nerd, but she is definitely nerdy and act like she's not.
Speaker H:She's just as Tolkien heavy as I am.
Speaker H:She loves high fantasy.
Speaker H:She loves Star Wars.
Speaker H:She loves Marvel.
Speaker C:Marvel.
Speaker H:To ask her if she's a nerd and she's like, no, no.
Speaker H:And she runs away.
Speaker C:Nice not to run away.
Speaker H:He runs away.
Speaker H:Literally.
Speaker H:Like, she'll be sitting here and if I'd be like, but look it off.
Speaker C:She goes, do you hear do you hear little feet taps like feet tapping?
Speaker H:And I'm looking forward to meeting more of you guys in person.
Speaker H:I've already met two.
Speaker H:Seeing one next week.
Speaker F:Damn right.
Speaker H:I'm really looking forward to meeting the rest of y' all.
Speaker E:I know.
Speaker I:That's right.
Speaker C:Yeah, it's gonna happen.
Speaker C:If it's anything like Firefly and Mal and Zoe at the bar.
Speaker C:Yeah, it's gonna be some.
Speaker D:Some good trouble, Lord.
Speaker C:Definitely good trouble.
Speaker C:Spartan.
Speaker D:Hang on.
Speaker D:I'm getting attacked.
Speaker D:She woke up and was like.
Speaker D:She woke up and started attacking me.
Speaker D:And my hair.
Speaker C:Says tatty.
Speaker D:Literally speaking, she said, I heard the.
Speaker E:Man beneath us is being attacked.
Speaker E:I would like to jump in.
Speaker D:Go.
Speaker D:Go for it, Toar.
Speaker D:Because I.
Speaker D:I get her situated first.
Speaker D:Go for it.
Speaker E:No, you're good.
Speaker E:I was just making a joke.
Speaker E:She wanted just.
Speaker E:Zuri wanted to join the verbal scarfuffle.
Speaker E:I was victim tour.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker C:He's talking about the colossa.
Speaker C:I'm glad he got it in touch with Webster style.
Speaker A:So thank you, Mr.
Speaker A:Webster.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker D:Now, I will say my.
Speaker D:Because my whole thing has always been tangent.
Speaker D:I didn't.
Speaker D:Because, you know, life be life.
Speaker D:And couldn't actually join you guys at cons this year.
Speaker D:But it's just a tangence that we have that I literally eating your beard.
Speaker D:I'm sorry.
Speaker A:I think she has regrets about that.
Speaker C:Obie didn't get you like this, baby.
Speaker F:No, OB never got you like this, bro.
Speaker C:You see, without the fighter, I have.
Speaker D:To hold her at a distance.
Speaker D:I have to hold her literally at a distance because she can try to.
Speaker D:When she's not girl.
Speaker D:Really?
Speaker F:Familial assault.
Speaker D:Dada.
Speaker F:I want a taste of father.
Speaker A:Give that baby some fiber.
Speaker D:Wait, wait.
Speaker D:She eats all the time.
Speaker D:Those two.
Speaker D:Between her and Obi.
Speaker D:If I got.
Speaker A:Damn.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:I need.
Speaker A:I need some sweet potatoes.
Speaker D:No, she's.
Speaker D:She is hyper and attacking, right?
Speaker F:Give me fries, brother.
Speaker C:Give me fries.
Speaker C:Father.
Speaker F:I want fries.
Speaker F:Oh, my Lord.
Speaker C:Beard eating baby alert.
Speaker A:Oh, wow yourself.
Speaker A:I didn't realize she was plucking at your face.
Speaker D:No, you missed when she was doing this, the entire.
Speaker D:See what y' all was talking.
Speaker D:She was literally doing this to my face.
Speaker H:And she's trying to eat that lock.
Speaker D:Yeah, and trying to eat my hair at the same time.
Speaker A:Oh, not.
Speaker A:He disappeared.
Speaker I:Captain.
Speaker D:No.
Speaker D:Oh, there we go.
Speaker D:It's just us.
Speaker D:There we go.
Speaker D:We're slowly coming back.
Speaker D:We're slowly coming back.
Speaker D:And we live again.
Speaker D:There we go.
Speaker F:Did you fire the dog?
Speaker F:It's the dog.
Speaker C:Damn scrolls.
Speaker D:Let me.
Speaker D:Let me Go ahead and move on.
Speaker D:No, my whole thing's been tangents.
Speaker D:We have sat there and between that and Shoyo showers which are still sticking my head.
Speaker D:How did we go from Bama's five minute showers to Shoyo bathing in sulfuric acid and for 30 minutes.
Speaker D:That was our tangent for 30 minutes.
Speaker D:One of many tangents that we've been on.
Speaker C:But there's got to be a fine tuned time for sure.
Speaker C:Says 30 minutes and I'm like 30, man.
Speaker C:Your hot water lasts that long?
Speaker F:How long it takes to make soup.
Speaker D:Roasted in a shower?
Speaker C:I'm sorry.
Speaker D:30 minutes in the shower.
Speaker D:Are you just trying to make sure you're well done?
Speaker A:Keep the black on.
Speaker E:The time stamp on that entire segment is just whatever this conversation was.
Speaker D:But that's what that's about.
Speaker D:But that was my whole thing.
Speaker D:It's just the fact that whenever we get on tangents, they are never boring.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker C:The people agree they're never boring.
Speaker C:They are severely entertained.
Speaker C:So if you are in the military or your name is Jack Bauer.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker D:Military.
Speaker D:Military.
Speaker D:They at least give you a T.
Speaker D:10 minutes.
Speaker H:How you wash your legs in 10 minutes.
Speaker F:You get sick.
Speaker E:Deal with the kids in holes.
Speaker E:Got like eight.
Speaker E:Damn.
Speaker D:I was gonna say I can't speak.
Speaker D:I can't speak for navy.
Speaker D:I only can speak for army.
Speaker D:I can only speak for army because.
Speaker C:I work beside him.
Speaker C:The fact he said no, the kids at home got eight minutes.
Speaker C:Jesus.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker D:Granted it had.
Speaker E:It required tokens and it was all cold water.
Speaker F:But.
Speaker D:But still you expect.
Speaker D:Oh, hot water for Air Force.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker C:Oh my God.
Speaker C:Navy.
Speaker C:What were your takeaways and looking forward to for the following or the upcoming season?
Speaker C:50 Shades of Show.
Speaker I:Has been on a roll for the last couple months though his.
Speaker C:Crew.
Speaker C:I'm crew now.
Speaker C:I'm.
Speaker C:I'm part of the crew now.
Speaker C:I'm part of the crew now.
Speaker F:For me I think one of the biggest.
Speaker F:Besides having the chance to congregate with some of the dopest people around who understand what it means to be able to embrace it and show the world that is the sexiest thing to do.
Speaker C:Period.
Speaker F:To the different.
Speaker F:Every episode has been a journey this season and it continues to just influence other creators.
Speaker F:There are other creators who actually watch what we do and they're influenced and they're inspired.
Speaker F:So that's.
Speaker F:It's awesome to be a part of that.
Speaker C:Episodes just know you can't copy the formula.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's all natural.
Speaker C:Over here, baby.
Speaker A:Give us a goddamn shout out.
Speaker F:One step at a time.
Speaker C:I should have blew it up.
Speaker C:I looked straight at the party.
Speaker C:He gave that look.
Speaker C:It was like, damn it.
Speaker C:He gave that same look.
Speaker C:Everybody looking.
Speaker C:When you watch them sitcoms, they just look at the camera that ain't dead.
Speaker E:Why have.
Speaker E:That's why I have an angle that way.
Speaker E:Not gonna look straight often, but what.
Speaker C:I do, there's a reason.
Speaker F:My favorite takeaway from this weekend.
Speaker F:Well, this.
Speaker C:I'm sorry.
Speaker F:This weekend, this season was when we played DND together.
Speaker C:Yes, absolutely.
Speaker F:Episode one and two was absolute fire.
Speaker C:That will be.
Speaker C:That will be revisited.
Speaker E:I got crushed by a troll.
Speaker D:Don't feel bad.
Speaker D:Kira Left me twice.
Speaker D:Left me twice.
Speaker F:I will say this on a personal note.
Speaker F:February was really rough.
Speaker F:And the fact that y' all came through for me speaks more volume than anything.
Speaker F:Y' all have solidified a part of my life, and it's a day by day.
Speaker F:Y' all checked up on me.
Speaker F:Y' all make sure I was good.
Speaker F:Lady Mandalore was a psycho, but I love you anyway, and that's why I.
Speaker C:Brought on to the crew.
Speaker C:Yeah, that part.
Speaker F:And just being a part of this collective is a blessing.
Speaker F:So that's my takeaway.
Speaker D:She is.
Speaker C:She is.
Speaker D:She is the life coach of the group.
Speaker A:Get your together.
Speaker F:That's all you gotta do.
Speaker F:Go to episodes one and two.
Speaker F:And we're gonna do this again.
Speaker C:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker C:I often have said reason why I said Lady M is like my second in command.
Speaker C:If I'm Captain Reynolds, she's Zoe Washburn.
Speaker F:She's ZoZo.
Speaker F:From now on, you'll be known as Zo.
Speaker C:That's a good thing.
Speaker C:So for those who don't.
Speaker C:Who have not watched Firefly or, you know, the crew that Malcolm Reynolds brings on are really extensions of himself.
Speaker C:Shepherd Book is a.
Speaker C:Is an extension of belief that.
Speaker C:That Mal used to have.
Speaker C:Zoe is the extension of his.
Speaker C:Just his shooter.
Speaker C:He, like.
Speaker C:He's straight guns blasting away, ask questions later.
Speaker C:Jane Cobb is just like the loose cannon when necessary.
Speaker C:So Kaylee is his innocence, and Wash is his.
Speaker C:Is like his comedic calm demeanor.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:So, like, when you really break down that show and, like, you realize these are extensions of himself, you know, with him not realizing.
Speaker C:So, like, the lady in will will, like, captain, please let me take this gun.
Speaker C:I'm like, go.
Speaker C:Ready?
Speaker A:I'mma be quiet.
Speaker C:Whatever you need to do.
Speaker C:Just don't hit the windows.
Speaker C:We steal the space.
Speaker C:And so, like, torture them.
Speaker C:Just don't leave no blood in that.
Speaker C:In the galley.
Speaker C:But no, some of the takeaways is just running Point at home during the Blur Con live stream, which I was very like, I wasn't hesitant.
Speaker C:I was just literally trying to figure that out.
Speaker C:Like, I'm like, how can I run point?
Speaker C:I'm not there.
Speaker C:But I was able to do it.
Speaker C:The live stream went off very well.
Speaker C:A couple hiccups, but that happens even with the most professional live shows.
Speaker C:And people responded extremely well.
Speaker C:We wanna, I wanna thank everybody who was involved with that live stream.
Speaker C:Go check it out on the Blur station live stream.
Speaker C:You can check it on the Blur Station YouTube channel.
Speaker C:You can check it out on blurstation.com where you can also sign up.
Speaker C:And sign up because we will be launching this year.
Speaker C:Don't ask me how I know.
Speaker C:Apparently this is moving power.
Speaker C:I speak stuff into existence.
Speaker C:It happens.
Speaker C:I need a million dollars.
Speaker C:No, I want a million dollars.
Speaker F:I'll take 500k.
Speaker C:That's how it works.
Speaker C:I'm trying to figure it out.
Speaker C:Like, it's like, it's like wish master.
Speaker C:It's like you got.
Speaker C:It's the way you make the wish.
Speaker C:It's like turns over near the river.
Speaker C:So if I say I want a million, I'll be wanting a million dollars.
Speaker C:I need a million dollars.
Speaker C:Same thing.
Speaker C:I'm like, no, I need, I need a million dollars in my account.
Speaker D:I just want to do a run to a thrift store that had a couch with 400 grand in it.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:You ever hear those stories story?
Speaker D:One guy bought.
Speaker D:One guy bought a 20 couch at a thrift store, had 400 grand stuffed in it.
Speaker C:And he returned.
Speaker D:And he returned the money.
Speaker A:Yeah, that guy.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker F:Oh, damn.
Speaker E:Sure.
Speaker E:I'm sure the.
Speaker C:Going to n.
Speaker C:If you had told.
Speaker C:If you hadn't told me he gave something to the church and did this and did that.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker C:But to say, oh, it's 400 grand, I'mma take you back to the store.
Speaker A:They didn't know about economy.
Speaker F:Here's your reward of $11,000 for your.
Speaker F:For your honesty and generosity.
Speaker H:That has 10 bucks.
Speaker A:Here's the 10 finders fee.
Speaker D:400 grand.
Speaker D:You bought that?
Speaker D:You bought that couch.
Speaker D:That is technically your money now.
Speaker E:Didn't he get like a punk ass gift card or something?
Speaker D:Yeah, he got a gift card.
Speaker D:He got like a plaque or something from the store.
Speaker C:Like lady.
Speaker C:Like lady.
Speaker C:I'm saying in this economy, Are you kidding?
Speaker C:No.
Speaker F:You get lifetime discounts.
Speaker F:I need money for that.
Speaker C:How much discount do you need?
Speaker D:Different than people finding bags of money and like storm drains and whatnot.
Speaker D:What's the first thing they do Call the police.
Speaker C:I found this money.
Speaker A:Who is this for?
Speaker E:I'm sure the ghost of Florida Evans.
Speaker D:That lucky let me find a bag of money near storm drain.
Speaker D:What bag?
Speaker C:My great grandmother taught me a long time ago when we was on the walk and I found money and I said hey look.
Speaker C:And she said.
Speaker D:And now it's gone like.
Speaker C:And first thing she said is you don't yell that stuff out.
Speaker C:You, you found it, it's yours.
Speaker A:See something fall directly out of somebody pocket.
Speaker A:That's just mine.
Speaker A:I don't care.
Speaker A:I'm for your loss.
Speaker A:But I didn't find it.
Speaker C:I'm just saying I've been looking for this.
Speaker C:Yeah, you're gonna have to work a little harder.
Speaker D:I know.
Speaker D:I will fail those integrity questions.
Speaker D:You find a wallet with a substantial amount of money in it and a driver's license, I'll send back the wall of the driver's license license.
Speaker D:But what about the money?
Speaker C:There you go.
Speaker A:That's a free lesson.
Speaker A:That's a lesson, right?
Speaker C:Count it.
Speaker C:We like ain't gon this much around.
Speaker A:If I have, if I have to lick my thumb to count it, it's gone.
Speaker C:That part.
Speaker C:He said I'm insane as they come.
Speaker C:And I ain't saying that.
Speaker C:No, no.
Speaker C:But just in moments like this, taking away moments like this where we just go and we just have fun and we talk about the stuff that we love and we even express like our disdain for something that we dislike with a reason.
Speaker C:And so unlike most trolls.
Speaker C:But yeah, calling point for from from home for the blurcon live stream.
Speaker C:Having you guys around.
Speaker C:And like we weren't guest heavy this season.
Speaker C:We weren't guest heavy this season and I'm glad for that because like Lady M said, sometimes it's about just chilling out and having moments because everybody has these adult lives, even people that are watching us or listening to us and they look forward to this time twice a week to just kind of like zone out, have a laugh, have some fun before they have to deal with the BS of adulting.
Speaker C:Right.
Speaker C:So I'm glad that we are able to provide.
Speaker C:Like we, we have seen it, we have dealt with it, we.
Speaker C:But the fact that we still come together like Voltron and, and handle it and look out for each other and handle our business and people are saying, well, you guys are good, you guys are funny, you guys are professional.
Speaker C:Yeah, we're all in the world.
Speaker C:We just need the money.
Speaker C:Where's the money?
Speaker C:You know, I know it's coming.
Speaker C:I'm just like, I'm just trying to say.
Speaker C:I'm saying, I'm like, I see people who are way worse, you know, like our elected officials.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:Like.
Speaker C:Like, I.
Speaker C:Like, I know I ain't doing nothing wrong, and it ain't all us, so it was like.
Speaker C:I'm just saying we need.
Speaker C:So I'm just saying, you know, you are a black entrepreneur who has a lot of cash.
Speaker C:Flush with cash.
Speaker C:You won't be disappointed.
Speaker D:Donate to the church.
Speaker D:We take donations.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:He's like, y' all my people in my community, that's what we're here for.
Speaker C:That's what we're here for.
Speaker C:So just doing this when I literally, like, I'm like, before the show, I was tired, I was exhausted.
Speaker F:The timing is perfect.
Speaker C:You never know, right?
Speaker C:Because doing this for.
Speaker C:For this time, and I'm just like, I'm in the zone.
Speaker C:I'm in the zone, and this is what I love to do.
Speaker C:And I love promise myself as a child, I will never do a job that I hate just to pay bills.
Speaker C:I'm almost there.
Speaker D:Would I love to sit there tomorrow and just say.
Speaker C:Because I just need one call, baby.
Speaker C:One call.
Speaker C:Kevin.
Speaker C:Kevin, if you're watching Kevin, I need that one call.
Speaker C:Say, fury, we're in.
Speaker C:Danny getting two weeks out of me now.
Speaker H:They don't give me two weeks.
Speaker H:When they fire you, don't give them two weeks.
Speaker D:Hey, you know real.
Speaker D:You know it's real.
Speaker D:When you fold the shirt on top.
Speaker C:Of the desk and you fold it neatly, you gonna get that.
Speaker C:You're gonna get that send off like Martin.
Speaker C:You gonna get that last look.
Speaker C:Lights go off, you might get a signature.
Speaker C:And I'm out the door.
Speaker A:The scrubs over my head.
Speaker A:North Carolina.
Speaker I:You bringing it back to the 90s, baby.
Speaker C:The fact that when it happens and I walk out that door, they like.
Speaker C:And this happened before.
Speaker F:Watch somebody Pablo, it's gonna be, hey.
Speaker C:Yeah, Chris, we'll see you tomorrow.
Speaker C:I've done that before.
Speaker C:More than it feel.
Speaker C:It's like, what Doing them like that.
Speaker C:Hey, I got to do what I got to do, baby.
Speaker C:I'm gone.
Speaker C:I'm sorry.
Speaker F:The.
Speaker F:That you tried to reach is no longer in, right?
Speaker C:Look, I said I'm like.
Speaker C:That was on the.
Speaker C:That was on the bucket list.
Speaker C:I gotta put that on there again.
Speaker C:That was.
Speaker C:That felt nice.
Speaker D:The day.
Speaker D:The day.
Speaker D:Look at that bank account.
Speaker D:See that many zeros be the day.
Speaker D:That many zeros because how many people getting cussed out?
Speaker C:That's all I need.
Speaker C:Like, it's for me.
Speaker C:It's not.
Speaker C:It's just me and my co worker.
Speaker C:I.
Speaker C:I don't have any.
Speaker C:And our boss.
Speaker C:Is she cool?
Speaker C:Is.
Speaker C:I don't know what.
Speaker C:But even she know.
Speaker C:She was like, look, when the time come, I'm gone.
Speaker C:She.
Speaker C:I'm like, sister, you was up front with that.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker C:I like you already now.
Speaker C:Like, you already.
Speaker C:So, yeah, just.
Speaker C:I'm just waiting on that phone call, that.
Speaker C:That text.
Speaker C:Fury, what are you doing later on tonight?
Speaker C:I need to drive to Columbus.
Speaker F:Pay off my life.
Speaker F:I don't need y' all anymore.
Speaker F:I'm good.
Speaker C:Yeah, that's all.
Speaker C:I'm waiting on two weeks notice.
Speaker C:I've been planning on leaving this job for two years.
Speaker C:Hey, it ain't that way.
Speaker E:I remember on the office when the entire world warehouse hit the lotto pool and they came and paraded through the building on their way out.
Speaker D:Yep.
Speaker E:And Darren was like, I was in the pool up until I got promoted up here.
Speaker C:There's people that.
Speaker C:There's people in chat.
Speaker C:It was like, chris, you leaving?
Speaker C:I'm like, who told you that?
Speaker C:What do you know?
Speaker C:What did you hear?
Speaker F:Explain yourself.
Speaker F:Explain yourself, Lucy.
Speaker D:Oh, when you leave, it'll be a surprise.
Speaker C:Oh, damn.
Speaker C:Like my co worker already said.
Speaker D:He said.
Speaker C:He was like, oh, yeah.
Speaker C:When you out, you out.
Speaker C:Hey, you already know it, bro.
Speaker E:Quitting or being cracked out, both things go through the office like wildfire.
Speaker C:Yeah, so.
Speaker C:So, yeah, I'm just.
Speaker C:That.
Speaker C:That one text and phone call, that's all I'm waiting on.
Speaker C:I'm like, we did it.
Speaker C:We got it.
Speaker C:We locked in.
Speaker C:You ready?
Speaker C:You have no idea.
Speaker C:So that type of stuff is that.
Speaker C:That's the stuff I'm looking forward to.
Speaker C:And just hopefully hitting a convention after the summer because Jesus Lord said, hey, hey, hey.
Speaker C:Funds not just yet.
Speaker C:Lock it in for a minute.
Speaker C:You might be for a bit of a wild ride, but you about to get there.
Speaker C:So just having the crew around and doing this.
Speaker C:This show and this platform and just providing everything for everybody out there to watch it and have fun and just kind of take your minds off everything.
Speaker C:It's worth it.
Speaker C:It's absolutely worth it.
Speaker C:You know, I.
Speaker C:When I started, I.
Speaker C:I would burn.
Speaker C:I was almost in burnout mode when I first started because I was doing this show, DC show, and then I was on Circle of Nerds, and that was Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Speaker F:Speak of the devil.
Speaker F:Speak of the devil.
Speaker F:Look who popped up in our chat.
Speaker C:Look at this.
Speaker F:Look at this.
Speaker D:Raise your hand.
Speaker C:Apparently the mutant power.
Speaker D:I was gonna say he said Raise your hand for the Blur spirit bomb.
Speaker D:Did we.
Speaker C:Did we just manifest good news?
Speaker E:Just.
Speaker E:Just asking for.
Speaker E:For goodwill from the chat.
Speaker C:I don't know.
Speaker C:I don't know whatever happened to Everybody else on December 21st.
Speaker C:All I know is I got a mutant ability.
Speaker C:I inactivated it.
Speaker C:I'm just learning how to use it.
Speaker F:My room is still standing in the kitchen.
Speaker C:No, but just having this platform and talking about all this stuff and really digging in and really talk.
Speaker C:Look at that.
Speaker C:Even now.
Speaker C:He said I'm late, but I'm really digging.
Speaker C:Screw.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker C:So just.
Speaker C:Just.
Speaker C:It's.
Speaker C:It's comments like that and people coming in and realizing you don't have to have a platform to talk negatively, just to be seen.
Speaker C:Okay?
Speaker C:And I see it all the time where they do these reactions or they do these platforms and it's just negative, negative, negative.
Speaker C:Just don't you got something good to talk about?
Speaker C:As Stack would say, no vision, right?
Speaker C:No vision.
Speaker C:So we here at this platform are about the tagline, educate, entertain, encourage.
Speaker C:And I'm glad that you are part of this.
Speaker C:I'm glad y' all are part of this crew.
Speaker C:I'm glad we have a lot of people out there who really believe in us.
Speaker C:I'm glad they have a lot of people out there that support us and they turn to us and say, yeah, listen to them.
Speaker C:They know what they're talking about.
Speaker C:There's.
Speaker C:There's a reason they're talking about it.
Speaker C:You know, we.
Speaker C:The.
Speaker C:We ain't always the first ones to jump out the gate and just to say it's the hot thing to talk about.
Speaker C:No, no, if you don't mind, subscribers, because 90 of the time we've all seen something and we're gonna sit back and talk about it.
Speaker C:So, hey, shout out to Chris.
Speaker C:Thank you, Chris.
Speaker C:Oh, thank you.
Speaker C:You guys have gotten some of us through some tough times.
Speaker C:Appreciate y' all.
Speaker C:Enjoy your break.
Speaker C:Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Speaker E:You'll have stuff in the off season.
Speaker E:Don't worry.
Speaker C:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker C:Tom said it best negative for no reason.
Speaker C:I hate reviewers that just say what they would have done if you could have done, if you would have done it.
Speaker C:Yeah, it's that.
Speaker D:So it's.
Speaker C:Yeah, we.
Speaker C:We here for sure for the people.
Speaker C:You know, if you are an ally, welcome.
Speaker C:I know.
Speaker C:I know a few of them personally.
Speaker C:One of.
Speaker C:One of the other bright spots is inetwork, and a guy that works in it was like, hey, what's happening, man?
Speaker C:And I'm like, hey, what's going on.
Speaker C:And he's like, yeah, I did joke.
Speaker C:I forgot he did work on my computer a couple years ago.
Speaker C:And he was like, yeah, man, I love the show.
Speaker C:And I'm like, oh, you're a fan.
Speaker C:I am so sorry.
Speaker F:Thank you.
Speaker C:Thank you.
Speaker F:Appreciate it.
Speaker C:I like, so appreciate my guy.
Speaker C:So just seeing people like in person lock in with us and, and say, yeah, man, we love you.
Speaker C:What y' all doing?
Speaker C:Keep it up.
Speaker C:You know, I've had people ask like, y' all should be big.
Speaker C:I'm like, it's coming.
Speaker C:I'm not worried.
Speaker F:Yeah, we are a marathon show.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker F:Marathon crew.
Speaker C:We.
Speaker C:We've actually lasted longer than most.
Speaker D:We lasted longer than most situationships.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker F:We lasted longer than fresh.
Speaker C:We've been.
Speaker C:I have seen.
Speaker C:I have seen some shows fall to the wayside.
Speaker C:Like, we've lasted longer than most, you know, on whether it's audio or whether it's video.
Speaker C:We have lasted longer than most.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:On.
Speaker C:On what we do.
Speaker C:We've had guests from big to.
Speaker C:To indie to well known actors and.
Speaker C:And whatnot come in and say, yeah, y' all different.
Speaker C:Shout out to Keenan Thompson, who seems to have a permanent job over at Snow.
Speaker D:Right?
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:So, yeah, people.
Speaker C:Phil Lamar has come through several times.
