We have Marcus V. Jardim of @mvj.comics! I am an upcoming Brazilian-American comic book writer and creator. I have B.A. degree in history with a focus on Afro-Brazilian history from Hunter College, CUNY. Upon earning my master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University, I decided to pursue my lifelong passion for storytelling through comics. I believe that representation in comics matters. My mission is to provide readers with diverse stories with my unique approach to storytelling which combines elements of history, psychology, current events, and, of course, my own imagination.
