Speaker H:What's going on, man?
Speaker H:How you doing, sir?
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker D:I'm doing good, man.
Speaker D:It's Tuesday.
Speaker D:As.
Speaker D:As Whoopi said, everybody had a day today.
Speaker D:I'm like, oh, yeah, we.
Speaker D:We had a day today.
Speaker D:I don't know.
Speaker D:What's something in the air, something in the water?
Speaker D:I don't know.
Speaker H:I don't know.
Speaker H:I.
Speaker H:I.
Speaker H:All I can say is we've.
Speaker H:It's already a week and it's only Tuesday.
Speaker H:I'm like, what the actual hell, y'all?
Speaker D:I see Spartan already stretching in the back like, yo, you ain't never lied.
Speaker H:Yo, did you replace your camera?
Speaker H:You looking kind of smooth there, brother man.
Speaker D:Nah, I got everything situated.
Speaker D:I hope me and Spartan been working on the ship.
Speaker D:It's just like, yo, Captain, you got it?
Speaker D:I'm like, I got it.
Speaker D:Oh, I feel.
Speaker H:I feel that a thousand percent, man.
Speaker H:But it's good to see you.
Speaker D:I'm.
Speaker H:I'm glad you back up in here, dude.
Speaker D:So I know I missed free comic book day this weekend, bruh.
Speaker H:That's not what I needed to hear from you, sir.
Speaker D:It was a good cause.
Speaker D:My kid, he.
Speaker D:Him and his wife just bought it there own home.
Speaker D:So we were in Columbus helping them move.
Speaker D:I've never walked 25 flights of stairs in one day, and I don't think I'll do it ever again.
Speaker D:I recovered quite quickly.
Speaker D:I was surprised, like, next day I was just tired and, like, wasn't sore.
Speaker D:No, Charlie Horses.
Speaker D:But I was.
Speaker D:I was.
Speaker D:I was there.
Speaker H:But you had that PTSD from stairs, though, didn't you?
Speaker D:We ain't doing this again.
Speaker D:Oh, no.
Speaker D:So you.
Speaker H:I'm telling you, free comic book day, dude.
Speaker H:They showed out this year, bro.
Speaker H:I'm mad, though, because I missed one comic I was waiting to get and I missed out on it, and that was the black mirror.
Speaker H:Free comic book.
Speaker D:I will say this because of me having to help my kid this weekend, which he didn't have.
Speaker D:He.
Speaker D:All he had to do was just say, hey, Dad, I need his question no more, son.
Speaker D:It's done.
Speaker D:It's why Operation Ghost Protocol was such success.
Speaker D:Only.
Speaker D:Only for.
Speaker D:Only for Operation Redaction.
Speaker D:Going to play the next night.
Speaker D:Two nights in a row.
Speaker H:Don't brag, because I want to go see it again.
Speaker D:So with that being said, I agree on the horrors in the building.
Speaker D:Keep my heart.
Speaker D:Look, she's already dancing.
Speaker B:Hey.
Speaker D:How are you, my dear?
Speaker I:A better week than last week.
Speaker H:It's only Tuesday too.
Speaker I:I haven't been commenting, but I've been reading the chat and I'm like, oh, that was my week last week.
Speaker D:So, yeah, we have been adulting.
Speaker D:Sucks.
Speaker D:I need to talk to.
Speaker D:I need to talk to Thanos and I need to talk.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah, I need to talk to Thanos and I need to talk to the Doctor.
Speaker D:Like, those are the two people I need right now.
Speaker D:Facts.
Speaker D:Those we don't need fix whatever this timeline is that we're on.
Speaker D:I don't care.
Speaker H:I do want better.
Speaker I:That needs to happen.
Speaker H:Give a specific number of people the death note and let them know with great power comes great responsibility.
Speaker I:I'm not on that kind of shenanigans yet.
Speaker D:Very close.
Speaker D:I know who would be on that death note.
Speaker D:But we're going to talk about.
Speaker D:We're not going to talk too much about them.
Speaker H:What's up, brother?
Speaker B:Ah, it's been a day.
Speaker B:But you know what?
Speaker B:It's amazing what 75 push ups will do for you.
Speaker D:His 75 of my 25 makes for.
Speaker H:Even 100, so 75 would put me asleep.
Speaker H:Okay.
Speaker H:You would be without the shepherd book today.
Speaker D:Normally.
Speaker D:See, for.
Speaker D:For Spartan.
Speaker D:That's white work for us.
Speaker D:We would look like Jamie Foxx did when he took that driver test.
Speaker B:No, I struggle.
Speaker B:This.
Speaker D:This is.
Speaker B:This is everything getting back to working out before the big.
Speaker B:Before the big.
Speaker B:Under the knife.
Speaker B:So that 75 was a who it.
Speaker B:You know, six months ago would have been fine.
Speaker B:I'd be like, okay, cool.
Speaker B:But when.
Speaker B:When I lost that.
Speaker B:When I lost that weight, I lost that muscle.
Speaker B:And then my chest was like, negro, you gotta work your way back up to this.
Speaker D:You got things to do.
Speaker D:What are you doing?
Speaker D:You know, like, what are you doing?
Speaker B:I mean, arms was cool, but the chest was like, hey.
Speaker D:Safari TV is in the building.
Speaker D:What's happening, Jafar?
Speaker C:Hold on, ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker H:What up, man?
Speaker D:He's making sure all our gear is together pretty much.
Speaker H:So, yeah, that man is senor.
Speaker D:Look to the right.
Speaker H:Because every time you see him, he never looks like at the camera.
Speaker H:He's senior.
Speaker H:Look to the right.
Speaker C:Let me get some use out of this tripod.
Speaker C:But my monitor's over here, but I don't have, like, room for them both.
Speaker C:And I don't like the way it, like, it's the brio sits, because, like, if you tilt it the wrong way, then the whole thing just goes over.
Speaker C:And I don't feel like y'all watching me adjust it constantly.
Speaker C:So I'm looking at y'all here, but y'all are here.
Speaker B:Oh, it also.
Speaker C:It also lets me have many gym in the office moments when things are, oh, we have.
Speaker C:Or Gregory, if you watch Abbott.
Speaker D:So we have plenty gym moments around this place.
Speaker D:Look like our chat started bumping, and that's when Whoopi said it.
Speaker D:And I'm like, yeah, that sounds about right.
Speaker D:That sounds about right.
Speaker D:There.
Speaker D:There it is.
Speaker D:There it is.
Speaker D:We know what it is now, so.
Speaker D:But, yeah, it's.
Speaker D:It's been.
Speaker D:It's been a heck of a couple weeks.
Speaker D:A couple weeks.
Speaker D:It feels like a couple weeks.
Speaker D:Couple days, but here we get two hours to kind of chill and max out and.
Speaker D:And just kind of let the breeze blow through our hair.
Speaker H:Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Speaker H:I wasn't even gonna put this up here.
Speaker D:Hold.
Speaker H:You know what?
Speaker H:Hold on.
Speaker I:No, hold on.
Speaker B:Really.
Speaker D:It'S not a bad thing.
Speaker D:Like, I cut mine on purpose.
Speaker H:It's not the same.
Speaker H:See, I.
Speaker H:If you frolic with a beard, you're gonna catch some from the park, so.
Speaker H:Yeah, that's a different.
Speaker H:That's a totally different deal.
Speaker H:Okay.
Speaker I:I was trying to keep it light, but, you know.
Speaker H:I know you was.
Speaker H:See, I look at your crown, and then I, I.
Speaker H:And I.
Speaker H:I just.
Speaker D:I just.
Speaker H:I live vicariously through y'all.
Speaker H:There we go.
Speaker H:Problem solved.
Speaker D:Oh, my goodness.
Speaker B:So don't feel bad.
Speaker D:Maybe I'm.
Speaker B:I'm three die hair jobs away from just going back to back.
Speaker D:My goodness.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker D:I don't even know how to respond to that.
Speaker H:You can't.
Speaker D:You really can't.
Speaker D:But.
Speaker D:Well, I guess we can get into the news.
Speaker D:We can get that popping, why don't you think?
Speaker D:As I mentioned before, it's.
Speaker D:It was free comic book day this past weekend.
Speaker D:It was all also Star Wars Day, which makes today.
Speaker D:So for.
Speaker D:And I'll answer the question for Tafar.
Speaker D:I know he asked it before.
Speaker D:Like, what is the actual canonical statement?
Speaker D:So it's May the Fourth be with you.
Speaker D:What is it?
Speaker H:Revenge of the Spirit.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:The Empire was it the Fifth Strikes Back and then Revenge.
Speaker D:So it all.
Speaker D:It really.
Speaker B:You definitely don't.
Speaker B:You definitely want to put Revenge of the Fifth next to Cinco de Mayo.
Speaker D:Could really use a lot of that.
Speaker D:Speaking of which, like I said, we normally don't do politics on here, but if you're going to use AI and impose on a holiday that's meant for us in Star wars, at least get it right.
Speaker D:The history anyway, because you look like an ass again.
Speaker C:Yes, I was told.
Speaker C:Apparently it's the fourth.
Speaker C:What is it?
Speaker C:Revenge of the Fifth.
Speaker C:And then the Six strikes back because you're hungover from Cinco de Mayo.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:That is the reasoning.
Speaker C:Tick tock in the Internet has given me.
Speaker D:Acceptable except.
Speaker C:And on that rare year where it all falls on free comic book Day, you get to drunk read books and celebrate being a dork.
Speaker H:Oh, hell no.
Speaker D:And mind you, all three together, not to mention there's always a comic book movie release.
Speaker H:Yeah, true.
Speaker H:That is very true.
Speaker D:So we managed to always have a nice release without spoiling thunderbolts.
Speaker C:Unless you have notifications turned on from Marvel.
Speaker C:Jesus.
Speaker D:Right?
Speaker C:Like, right, like straight up, when I got on YouTube this morning, first thing I hit my phone, I'm like, y'all didn't give it a full week.
Speaker D:Like, yeah, you're right, Christy Cheeto.
Speaker D:Satan got that all the way wrong.
Speaker D:I'm like, you really missed.
Speaker D:You've never watched it.
Speaker D:You.
Speaker D:I can tell.
Speaker D:I can just tell.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker D:But yeah, you're right.
Speaker D:I had this conversation in another chat and they were saying it was crazy how you, if you are following certain people that were in the film, there are certain things happening.
Speaker D:Billboards are changing, cereal boxes are changing.
Speaker D:And I found it weird at first, but then I had to think about it.
Speaker D:I said, I forgot we only have 45 day movie releases.
Speaker D:45 day movie releases now.
Speaker D:Like that's how long you're in the theater.
Speaker D:And that kind of changes the whole.
Speaker D:It's a domino effect that we didn't realize would actually happen because before you know it will be at least, at least two weeks before you heard anything.
Speaker D:You might get a slip up here and there.
Speaker D:But it's, it's not even that now.
Speaker D:It's become the weekend of at this point and, and well into a week of it.
Speaker D:So, you know, it's more or less, hey, find the chat group that is talking about it if you've seen it and if you're inside chat group and you haven't seen it muted because it's.
Speaker D:They're gonna say everything.
Speaker D:And so I think it's more or less that because of the shortened window that a movie runs, that Is called.
Speaker D:Is like, okay, let's let this cat out the bag because we just don't have a lot of time.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker D:And that's the only way I can look at it.
Speaker D:Unless they extend that 45 day window back to 90.
Speaker D:It's not hard to do.
Speaker D:That way you're not suppressed.
Speaker D:That way you're not so oppressed to having movie releases so close together.
Speaker C:Did y'all see Sinners come back and like panic?
Speaker C:Like, what happened?
Speaker C:Like not even a full set.
Speaker C:Even the early screenings didn't.
Speaker C:Haven't seen it a full week yet.
Speaker C:Y'all just said, all right, Monday morning, just drop all the drafts.
Speaker C:Just drop.
Speaker D:They did.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Sebastian Stan is out changing poster boards.
Speaker D:Red Guardians doing, Doing work.
Speaker D:I'm like, what is happening right now?
Speaker D:It's weird.
Speaker D:It's weird.
Speaker D:But I.
Speaker D:But there is, there is one thing with the Sebastian Stan thing.
Speaker D:Going around chasing the bus stop posters.
Speaker D:Somebody said in the comment, and I think it's cool.
Speaker D:I said, I'm waiting on Sam to come behind him and tear those posters down.
Speaker C:It would be.
Speaker D:It would be perfect.
Speaker D:It would be.
Speaker D:It would be the perfect sale.
Speaker D:I said, just run with it.
Speaker D:Run with it.
Speaker D:You know.
Speaker D:So I guess it is what it is.
Speaker D:But here we are.
Speaker D:It's.
Speaker D:It's wild that we're in these positions of movie watching nowadays.
Speaker D:And.
Speaker H:To be a blurry.
Speaker D:I don't know about everybody else, but we're eating.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:That we are.
Speaker D:So other than that, without giving away on our.
Speaker D:On this platform, we're just like, hey, we don't know anything.
Speaker D:There she is.
Speaker D:My second command.
Speaker H:My other captain.
Speaker D:We.
Speaker D:Without, like I said, like I was saying, without spoiling the movie.
Speaker D:There's a quick rundown of what you thought, Kira.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:I don't.
Speaker D:You got.
Speaker A:Was fine.
Speaker B:It was fine.
Speaker D:No, she didn't give it like, she didn't.
Speaker D:It was fine.
Speaker D:She didn't give it like a crazy little score or anything.
Speaker A:Yeah, no, I liked it.
Speaker A:I thought I had a good time.
Speaker A:I thought it was funny.
Speaker A:Which is, you know, standard for a Marvel movie.
Speaker A:Try to do the funny thing.
Speaker A:It wasn't overkill.
Speaker A:Excuse me.
Speaker A:Like they usually do.
Speaker A:I just ate something.
Speaker A:I'm really sorry.
Speaker A:I've been hungry.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:I think they could have done more with some things, less with others.
Speaker A:I think they need to ask their audience to be smarter.
Speaker D:Yes, I, I agree.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:I went in and I did a quick review.
Speaker D:I went in watching the movie, expecting just what I got.
Speaker D:So I wasn't underwhelmed.
Speaker D:And.
Speaker D:But the overall thing, which I will say being released during Mental Health Awareness Month, this is a great sell.
Speaker D:And this was probably the.
Speaker D:I didn't think this would be a great vehicle for it, but it's actually a really good vehicle.
Speaker H:Very good.
Speaker D:To talk about something like that.
Speaker D:So to deal with trauma, to deal with your past.
Speaker D:And I'm like, that is pretty damn interesting.
Speaker A:I think it.
Speaker A:It's very door.
Speaker A:Ish opening, but it's also very influential of how if you're going to do something like this, it's not all sunshines and.
Speaker A:And rainbows just because your friends are there.
Speaker A:And I think that can be a.
Speaker A:I don't want to.
Speaker A:It's not dangerous, but it can be misleading.
Speaker B:Misleading.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker D:I can see that.
Speaker A:Of people thinking that, oh, I just need to, you know, pat my friend on the back and tell them that they're worth it.
Speaker A:It's not.
Speaker A:It's not that.
Speaker D:No, It.
Speaker D:It just helped in this particular situation.
Speaker D:It just.
Speaker D:And I'm glad, because Yelena, who we tend to like around here, she's.
Speaker D:She's.
Speaker D:She's adorable.
Speaker A:Lady Ms.
Speaker A:Ma'am carried.
Speaker A:She carried.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:I put it like this.
Speaker D:Father and daughter did their thing.
Speaker D:Let's just put it that way.
Speaker D:Yeah, they did their thing.
Speaker D:And literally there's a scene where she asked Bob, are you okay?
Speaker D:And he's trying to remember.
Speaker D:She was like, okay, you're coming with me.
Speaker D:So the fact that she's almost playing big sister mother hen to.
Speaker D:To this particular individual, she's like, I'm keeping this one close.
Speaker A:You know, it's also that.
Speaker A:A little bit of co.
Speaker A:I want to say codependency, too.
Speaker D:Yes, yes.
Speaker A:Just because she see.
Speaker A:She.
Speaker A:She sees the dark.
Speaker A:She sees.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:Gravity towards that.
Speaker H:Real, real, real easy.
Speaker A:So it's.
Speaker A:It's nice to.
Speaker A:I think people with depression can gravitate towards those characters, and because they see themselves gravitating towards those types of people, because they get.
Speaker A:They get it.
Speaker A:They get each other.
Speaker A:They fully.
Speaker A:They understand.
Speaker D:That's why that conversation they first had, when they first.
Speaker D:First, like, are introducing to themselves, that conversation was the starting piece.
Speaker D:And I think that was.
Speaker D:And that started it for him.
Speaker D:He was like, there's someone here who generally gets me and gives a damn and is kind of going through it, too, and gets it.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker D:Navy.
Speaker H:Oh, boy.
Speaker H:I'm about to repeat what I said on Sunday because I had this conversation with Lady Mandalore, and if y'all never had a conversation with Lady Mandalore about something she's very passionate about.
Speaker H:She gives you that look, you know.
Speaker A:What did I look like?
Speaker B:So intensely feral.
Speaker H:No, nothing like that.
Speaker H:Nothing like that.
Speaker H:Everybody's experiences is different and I fully understand it.
Speaker H:But what I.
Speaker H:I enjoyed this movie because I expected it to be what I wanted to be fun.
Speaker H:I went into it with an open mind like I always do for any Marvel movie.
Speaker H:I never go with expectations because if you do, you're going to set yourself up so you kind of open your mind to what they're presenting.
Speaker H:And I was not disappointed.
Speaker H:From beginning to end characters.
Speaker H:The.
Speaker H:I just, I just don't like Valentina.
Speaker H:I've said this many times before.
Speaker H:That is a character that should just.
Speaker D:Charming, charmingly hateful.
Speaker H:Just give her a bullet to the head and then just keep it moving.
Speaker I:Damn.
Speaker H:I said what I said.
Speaker H:I, I enjoy.
Speaker H:I thoroughly enjoyed the.
Speaker H:I enjoyed the movie.
Speaker H:Elena definitely carried it and it was funny.
Speaker H:Is after I had this conversation with after Lady Mandalore and I went off the air, I said movies like this can be a vehicle to open other people's eyes if they are not open to real life situations.
Speaker H:Sometimes you need a make believe or pretend scenario for you to understand what someone's going through by saying it through a different lens.
Speaker H:And I said, wow.
Speaker H:Even though you may not know all of the nuances of being in that level of depression and misery, you see it and you can recognize it and you can even understand it to a certain point.
Speaker H:So while the solution may not always be, hey, we're gather around people.
Speaker H:To me it was recognize it and understand that someone's going through something a lot worse than you and they're not.
Speaker D:Not, not succumb to it.
Speaker C:But.
Speaker H:And they're gonna put up their own defenses in order to deal with it to continue moving forward.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker H:But I, I really love, I really love the movie.
Speaker H:I want to go back and see it again.
Speaker H:It is definitely a required repeat viewing.
Speaker D:Yes, it's fine if you haven't seen it.
Speaker C:Managed to dodge spoilers like blindfold yourself and ask an usher to walk into it to a theater at this point.
Speaker C:Because like even the promos in the.
Speaker D:Building have like, yeah, I need to go back and take another picture of the cereal box.
Speaker C:Like you.
Speaker C:You get spoiled on the way to the movie.
Speaker C:The actual box office now.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker C:But I thought it was okay.
Speaker C:Like it did what it needed to do and for once accurately set up what's right around the corner.
Speaker C:Which is something we haven't done.
Speaker C:Like think since it's multiverse of Madness.
Speaker C:Yeah, it was.
Speaker C:It was a different group of characters.
Speaker C:I mean, I had to get adjusted to seeing how these people work.
Speaker C:We know John's a dick.
Speaker C:No one was shocked by that whatsoever.
Speaker D:Now he.
Speaker D:He's now.
Speaker D:He's now a more affable dick.
Speaker D:At this point, you can tolerate.
Speaker D:He's more like.
Speaker D:He's smart, but not smart enough.
Speaker D:Like, he.
Speaker D:He doesn't catch it quick enough.
Speaker I:He never will.
Speaker D:Like.
Speaker D:Like Bucky and Elena, they're.
Speaker D:They are here and they can catch something.
Speaker D:John is just like three sentences behind.
Speaker D:It's like, dude, we just discussed this.
Speaker D:Just discussed this.
Speaker D:What are you talking about?
Speaker D:You know, so.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:Seeing everybody's dynamics.
Speaker C:Seeing everybody at the.
Speaker C:Seeing the point where they figure out they shouldn't abandon each other.
Speaker C:I'm not shocked at how fast they figured out they were all basically being played.
Speaker C:Like I said, Val, I feel like, is who Norman Osborne would be if Sony would play nice.
Speaker C:Because even her whole spiel, watching Bucky awkwardly talk to women, trying to do espionage was weird because it's like, I saw you talk to Sam's sister two episodes in a row.
Speaker C:So I know you've done this before, but he can.
Speaker D:He can talk to the sisters.
Speaker D:You forget he was in Wakanda for quite a while, so he can talk to the sisters.
Speaker D:It's everybody else he may not have any R for.
Speaker D:That's just all it is.
Speaker H:You already know.
Speaker H:He got jungle fever.
Speaker I:Took too long.
Speaker D:He brought cookies and cream cake to the.
Speaker D:To the.
Speaker D:To the.
Speaker D:To the party.
Speaker D:So, yeah, he knows.
Speaker D:He knows that level.
Speaker D:He gets that.
Speaker C:That nice.
Speaker C:Knowing a Wakandan arm and metal is dishwasher friendly.
Speaker C:I found that hilarious.
Speaker D:That's not a spoiler.
Speaker B:That's actually in a trailer.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker H:Don't you wish it was that easy, though?
Speaker C:Turning.
Speaker C:Turning Bob's name into a running joke.
Speaker C:I didn't.
Speaker C:I thought it was gonna.
Speaker C:I didn't think it was.
Speaker C:Would land the way it did, but it actually worked.
Speaker C:So we told you his name's Bob.
Speaker C:Bob.
Speaker D:Bob.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:I think it all came together nicely.
Speaker C:Third act kind of went exactly how I thought it would.
Speaker C:I wasn't too shocked.
Speaker C:I will say the plot twist at the end, I'm like, ah, you sneaky Caucasian.
Speaker C:I'm not shocked that you pulled.
Speaker C:You pulled this off very well.
Speaker C:Very smooth of you.
Speaker C:I didn't think they would go with it, though.
Speaker C:I thought they were very much going to be like.
Speaker C:I figured they would all do their own.
Speaker C:Just Homer Simpson away and leave Red Guardian and Just be like, I'll take the glory for this.
Speaker D:No.
Speaker I:This was the second movie that I kind of wasn't ready for, to be honest with you.
Speaker I:I felt like Guardians.
Speaker D:Oh, my God.
Speaker D:Leave it to math.
Speaker D:Leave it to now.
Speaker C:Wow.
Speaker H:He pulled out the dagger on this one tonight, bro.
Speaker C:We have officially.
Speaker I:Bullseye accuracy.
Speaker D:We made.
Speaker B:We made it to almost 36 minutes in.
Speaker B:We almost.
Speaker C:We have officially corrupted this man.
Speaker C:But go ahead, lady.
Speaker C:What do you mean, we?
Speaker D:What do you mean, we?
Speaker D:He corrupted the T.
Speaker D:Wait, the tagline is entertain and educate and encourage.
Speaker D:I guess we did that.
Speaker I:Yeah.
Speaker I:I mean, I felt like this was the second movie that caught me off guard and how deep it kind of would be as far as, like, just dealing with mental health.
Speaker I:Like, first it was women in the yard that absolutely.
Speaker D:Oh.
Speaker D:Oh.
Speaker I:Hard watch for me.
Speaker I:And then, like, this was somewhat of a hard watch because I was like, this is really getting into some of the things that I need to deal with myself.
Speaker I:So I was like, if.
Speaker I:If not thunderbolts, if Guardians of the Galaxy you needed therapy for thunderbolts, you got therapy for.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker I:Another thing was that this was now kind of undoing some of the criticism that.
Speaker I:Oh, God.
Speaker I:Falcon got in his movie in.
Speaker I:In Captain America by talking down Red Hulk.
Speaker I:Because of the climax that happens.
Speaker I:I'll just leave it at that, since we're not talking about spoilers.
Speaker I:Yeah, nobody come for what happened and how that resolute resolved itself.
Speaker I:Everybody had comments for the new Captain America and how he talked down my Paul, so I thought that was very interesting as well.
Speaker D:Spartan.
Speaker B:Not to sound like a broken record, but it's amazing to take the subject of mental health and basically build a movie around it and still keep the characters relatable.
Speaker B:Walker was still a dick.
Speaker B:That's never changed.
Speaker D:That's why the shield isn't fixed.
Speaker B:I mean, Ghost.
Speaker B:Ghost was exactly that.
Speaker B:Because Ghost had about as much screen time as.
Speaker B:As LeBron's career playoff run right now.
Speaker D:Wow.
Speaker I:I mean, there was someone else who had less, but we're not gonna say no names.
Speaker B:Yeah, there was someone who had way less.
Speaker B:There was someone who had way less, but we're.
Speaker B:We'll let y'all figure that out.
Speaker A:That was to.
Speaker A:It's at its finest.
Speaker H:She was not happy.
Speaker I:That person.
Speaker I:Piss off.
Speaker A:For real.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:That was way too easy.
Speaker D:But I'm like, yo, wait a minute.
Speaker B:Although I will.
Speaker B:Although I will say, I think that's a nice way of.
Speaker B:Of doing a.
Speaker B:Doing a order 66 on that person.
Speaker B:I'm gonna leave it at that, I did like the fact, again, like I said, that the mental health aspect of it all to where, you know, if you leave something buried and, you know, you keep burying it and burying it eventually becomes a manifestation and then you have to deal with the trauma.
Speaker B:And then my favorite has always been Red Guardian.
Speaker B:Red Guardian, to me was the pillar of the entire freaking movie.
Speaker B:Because that man, that man's optimism was un freaking shakable.
Speaker B:That man's optimism is just.
Speaker B:He's like.
Speaker B:And of course, I just love the fact that he was really.
Speaker B:He played the position he was wanting to play since Black Widow, not to give much movie away.
Speaker B:And like I said, Bucky.
Speaker B:What can you say about Bucky outside of the fact that Wakandian hair and shea butter has never looked good on a white boy?
Speaker B:Because you can tell that he didn't.
Speaker B:You can tell that the shea butter was still in place.
Speaker B:But outside of that, it does set up a nice dynamic to where, like I said, this was essentially a good movie.
Speaker B:I can see where there might have been some hang ups, but I can't complain.
Speaker B:I thought.
Speaker B:I thought it was solid for what they're trying to go for, especially for the story moving forward.
Speaker D:Two things that I really picked that I really picked up on.1, and it hit me both times.
Speaker D:There's a scene between Yelena and Alexi and she pretty much breaks down and she calls him daddy.
Speaker D:And I'm like, all the fields, damn it.
Speaker D:And she just kind of lets it out and I'll.
Speaker D:And you look at his face and he's like.
Speaker D:And we know that's not his.
Speaker D:His.
Speaker D:That's always his little girl.
Speaker D:Without actually being his little girl.
Speaker D:Her and Natasha.
Speaker D:And that look he has, like, he's trying to make her stop and he just wants to grab her and hold her, like, damn, that is your daddy.
Speaker D:It's.
Speaker D:It's Yondu all over it.
Speaker D:He may have been your father, but I'm your daddy.
Speaker D:Right?
Speaker D:Just like, damn.
Speaker D:So, yeah, that was that.
Speaker D:That was.
Speaker D:That was a yanker and pause.
Speaker D:So, yeah, I'm quick with it.
Speaker D:So, yeah, that was.
Speaker D:That was a moment.
Speaker D:And then there's another scene.
Speaker D:If you look at the color gradient of the entire film, like that kind of grayish, cloudy, ish.
Speaker D:Look.
Speaker D:Look at the final scene.
Speaker D:Completely different.
Speaker D:It's dark, but it's like a.
Speaker D:It pops.
Speaker D:The color pops.
Speaker D:Yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker D:You know, shout out to the Russos for that.
Speaker D:That scene.
Speaker D:But those two scenes, I'm like, oh, I'm noticing a theme here.
Speaker D:And John, no one likes you because it's 14 months later and you still have a taco for a shield.
Speaker B:So why did you keep this?
Speaker C:And I guess Bob is just getting a free room and board at this point.
Speaker B:Like, I'm like, did you undo what you did, sir?
Speaker D:Or like, he's trying, but he's just like, I'll just have this milkshake and wash the dishes.
Speaker C:Y'all have three super soldiers.
Speaker C:Y'all can't each, like, grab just a piece and just.
Speaker B:I'm tripping on the fact that how do we have.
Speaker B:And how do we have antimantium?
Speaker B:And you're like, you're.
Speaker B:You're still dealing with metal.
Speaker B:I'm like, sir.
Speaker D:Oh, he.
Speaker B:Oh, requisition.
Speaker D:I'm sure he's asked Bucky, and Bucky's like, yeah, no, they don't like you.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:When either Black Panther Three Eyes or Wakanda.
Speaker D:I need.
Speaker C:I need all the shade and strays.
Speaker C:Wakanda's been catching the dress.
Speaker C:Because that's like two movies in a row where it's sounding a little hard.
Speaker D:Er.
Speaker C:Ish.
Speaker H:Definitely.
Speaker B:Come on.
Speaker B:Nowhere.
Speaker D:Oh, you thought it was like that, huh?
Speaker D:Do our dirty work.
Speaker C:King Embargo is not getting invited to any of these meetings.
Speaker B:I just want.
Speaker B:I just want him to walk and just go, you bunch of bald headed demons.
Speaker D:So last night, I will speak for me and Kira.
Speaker D:Last night, we were fanboying and fangirling out over the Met Gala.
Speaker D:The black Met Gala.
Speaker B:I see why y'all.
Speaker B:I see why y'all was hyper to go back and watching pictures.
Speaker B:I was like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker D:There was.
Speaker D:There was.
Speaker D:There was vibes.
Speaker D:And as cold Coleman put that on, Domingo stated.
Speaker D:He said, I'm tapping into all of it.
Speaker D:I'm tapping into black church.
Speaker D:I'm tapping in.
Speaker D:I'm like, yes, say it all, my friend.
Speaker D:Because he tapped into that.
Speaker B:So not the post.
Speaker B:And after.
Speaker B:When the pastor gives.
Speaker B:And before that message.
Speaker D:Glory was had.
Speaker D:Joey Turner Smith came out.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker H:Yes, ma'am.
Speaker D:Tiana Taylor.
Speaker A:She won.
Speaker H:Yo, coming up them steps in that cape.
Speaker H:Oh, my gosh.
Speaker D:Like, I couldn't catch the one where she had her hat.
Speaker D:But I'm like, yo, I don't know who did this, but that's fine.
Speaker A:You know, it's a Ruth B.
Speaker A:Carter.
Speaker D:That was Ruth.
Speaker B:All I gotta sit there and say.
Speaker I:Is gonna be today's price again.
Speaker D:No, that she's.
Speaker D:She's put.
Speaker D:She's put her stamp on a lot of stuff.
Speaker D:Halle Berry came through and once again, damn ego warden even had to turn around and was like, yo, wait a minute.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:I don't mean to be that person, but if the guy is looking down at the floor and her mouth is open, something has been seen.
Speaker H:Yeah.
Speaker H:There is a revelation.
Speaker B:That man's eyes is looking at the floor like it's money on there.
Speaker B:Like it's money down there.
Speaker H:There's a 50 on the floor.
Speaker D:It's like his ego war.
Speaker D:His egos.
Speaker D:Her look is so.
Speaker D:That's a she's.
Speaker D:Because she was already standing behind her taking pictures.
Speaker D:This has to be after she turns around and she's like, oh, my.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker D:Speaking of which, her look.
Speaker D:These loose was out there.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:These looks was out there.
Speaker H:Yes, ma'am.
Speaker H:Yes, ma'am.
Speaker A:Getting the call because you.
Speaker A:You put that on too for your first time out.
Speaker C:Now.
Speaker D:Her mouth has been popping.
Speaker D:Echo's month has been popping.
Speaker D:If you are watching Saturday Night Live.
Speaker H:Not the hair.
Speaker D:For the past.
Speaker D:After that.
Speaker D:After that Weekend Update skit that went hilariously wrong.
Speaker D:It went absolutely right, but it went wrong with how it should have went.
Speaker D:It's actually a hilarious.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker D:And it was the crowd's fault, but that's what made it hilarious.
Speaker D:But ever since then.
Speaker A:Well, wait a minute.
Speaker A:Wait a minute.
Speaker A:Because you gotta.
Speaker A:You.
Speaker A:I think you have.
Speaker A:Don't ask me why.
Speaker A:I know.
Speaker A:I believe it.
Speaker H:Why?
Speaker A:You know, I think it's.
Speaker A:You get notice months in advance.
Speaker A:So that invitation happened way the before.
Speaker D:You think it was.
Speaker D:You think it was when Pedro Pascal showed up on snl, the state cutting scene.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:But she got.
Speaker A:She got in before all this started to pop off.
Speaker D:Oh, yeah.
Speaker C:I didn't expect it to go this far.
Speaker D:You rang, Mrs.
Speaker D:Adams?
Speaker D:That's all I need to say.
Speaker C:I was trying to be slick and grab my car.
Speaker C:That whole.
Speaker B:That whole.
Speaker B:That whole sound effect was caught.
Speaker H:Literally said going back.
Speaker A:My bones is tired.
Speaker A:Squeak.
Speaker D:Oh, my goodness.
Speaker B:This brought to you by WD40.
Speaker C:You know, I tried some.
Speaker C:It doesn't do anything.
Speaker C:I think old girl just needs to.
Speaker I:Go at this point.
Speaker C:Oh, I'll back like old.
Speaker H:Y'all give us a super chat so we can get the far new chair.
Speaker D:Oh, man.
Speaker D:You.
Speaker D:Janelle Monae showed up.
Speaker D:And.
Speaker D:And, yes, she was embodying a little bit of everything and everybody.
Speaker A:She put that on two times.
Speaker D:Two times.
Speaker C:Wait, you don't have the reveal.
Speaker A:She had a whole other outfit underneath there.
Speaker D:She did.
Speaker D:Yes, she did.
Speaker D:I did not.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:I could not find out the reveal.
Speaker I:But that Second outfit.
Speaker A:Oh, she had a.
Speaker A:That's them.
Speaker A:Just about to pull it apart so she could pull.
Speaker D:They kept that one under rest, the bastards.
Speaker D:Not like.
Speaker D:Yeah, I could not catch that one.
Speaker D:Yeah, send it to.
Speaker D:If you catch it, send it to Megan.
Speaker D:Megan came through.
Speaker D:Glam.
Speaker D:Glam did as per usual.
Speaker A:Homage to Josephine Baker, was it?
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker D:I almost didn't recognize Lizzo.
Speaker D:I mean, I seen her on SNL after she had dropped all the way, but she came in with the blonde wig and the glass and her face card's never been declined.
Speaker D:Lizzo's always been pretty, you know?
Speaker D:So, like.
Speaker D:So I'm like, yo, what the.
Speaker D:I didn't.
Speaker D:Almost didn't recognize Kira, said Lizo.
Speaker D:And I'm like, where?
Speaker D:Like, where.
Speaker D:Where did you see this?
Speaker D:So our very own.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:Thighs and all.
Speaker A:Double tattoo thighs.
Speaker D:Like double tattoo thighs.
Speaker D:Dancing Idris.
Speaker D:Not only is he promoting F1, that he started in with Brad Pitt, but he came through with the Blood Red Drift.
Speaker H:I love that helmet, though.
Speaker B:All I can sit there and say is, you can smell the white girl off the album.
Speaker D:That's a pretty one.
Speaker D:Sierra came through.
Speaker B:Very nice.
Speaker C:Very nice.
Speaker D:And I think she might be next for another baby after this night, because how can you not.
Speaker B:Russell.
Speaker B:Russell wants a football team.
Speaker D:We know that.
Speaker D:Speaking of another baby on the way, of course, everybody was waiting on Rihanna.
Speaker D:She came through, revealing the baby bomb.
Speaker D:Third baby coming along the way, glammed out, as usual.
Speaker D:Like, that's the job.
Speaker D:That.
Speaker D:That is the job.
Speaker B:In the words of Tafara, asap.
Speaker B:Wasted no time after that verdict.
Speaker A:Listen, one time.
Speaker C:All right, so that not vert.
Speaker C:That not guilty verdict was February 19th.
Speaker C:It is now May 6th, so.
Speaker D:Oh, no.
Speaker A:She's at least six, seven months along.
Speaker C:Yeah, yeah, it kind of.
Speaker B:It kind of.
Speaker D:They just.
Speaker D:They just released pics from her fenty shoe.
Speaker D:Lingerie shoe, and she wasn't showing, so they just.
Speaker D:That was.
Speaker B:Not guilty to.
Speaker B:We're expecting.
Speaker C:That was a.
Speaker C:That was a case.
Speaker C:I don't come home baby.
Speaker C:But we still trying for the girl.
Speaker B:He won't.
Speaker B:Yeah, he wants a girl, but yay.
Speaker D:He's a winner in our eyes.
Speaker C:You did the super bowl just fine.
Speaker C:You can make it to the Met Gallery.
Speaker C:You'll be all right.
Speaker D:So that's probably all right.
Speaker D:And I didn't grab his picture, but he's.
Speaker D:He's learning.
Speaker D:He's learning.
Speaker A:No, no, don't sleep on him.
Speaker A:No, sleep on.
Speaker A:He had his together before Rihanna.
Speaker A:It's just.
Speaker A:It was hood aesthetic as opposed To.
Speaker D:That is what it is.
Speaker D:That's what it is.
Speaker D:Now he, he gets questionable.
Speaker D:No, it wasn't quite.
Speaker D:It was, it was sharp.
Speaker A:Oh, no, no, he was.
Speaker A:No, he was good.
Speaker A:He was stolen.
Speaker A:Solid.
Speaker D:I think it was when we said.
Speaker D:What did we say last night?
Speaker D:It was like you had to look.
Speaker D:It was the execution.
Speaker D:That's what it was.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker D:That's what it was.
Speaker D:The look was there.
Speaker D:The execution wasn't there because he had the.
Speaker D:It was given, London.
Speaker D:It was given.
Speaker A:Right, Right.
Speaker A:No, no, the other way around.
Speaker A:The execution was, was like the, the drama for the reveal.
Speaker A:Great.
Speaker A:The fit.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:So now notice the thing now as we do.
Speaker D:As we do.
Speaker D:They took a whole photo.
Speaker D:Photo in the bathroom.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:What was that?
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker D:I love us.
Speaker D:Yeah, it was just like black Nigel.
Speaker D:I'm like, yeah, black Love all of that.
Speaker B:I don't.
Speaker B:I mean, I get the bathroom with the best lighting, but.
Speaker A:Hey, Trey, what's up?
Speaker D:Speaking of which, Spike Lee, I don't know if you're watching this show or heard of this show or any of this thing, but you have a new movie coming out.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker D:And we have a voice actor who would love to do some voice work for you too for the trailer.
Speaker D:I'm just saying, you want black support.
Speaker B:You don't get no black in that.
Speaker H:Yeah, an award winning award nominated voice actor to boot.
Speaker D:Yes, yes.
Speaker H:You got foundation.
Speaker H:And don't, don't, don't go for Craig around the corner because it's convenient.
Speaker D:Nah, Craig around the corner.
Speaker D:I thought, I thought he was going around that cord.
Speaker D:Oh my God.
Speaker D:Craig around the corner.
Speaker D:So we're gonna take a quick commercial break.
Speaker D:We're gonna come back, we're gonna talk about the last of us, and we're gonna top it off with some more Star wars news.
Speaker D:Well, we'll be right back and I hope you guys have fun until then.
Speaker C:There's a God.
Speaker C:Thanks, Join.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Hahaha.
Speaker C:I know.
Speaker C:They answered the question.
Speaker C:Go see Captain America 4.
Speaker C:The joke wasn't supposed to run this damn long.
Speaker C:Blame Marvel.
Speaker C:Marvel, not me.
Speaker C:One second.

Speaker D:All right, we are back.
Speaker D:A bit out of order, but we're back.
Speaker B:It's what we do.
Speaker D:So I was in the middle of watching episode four of the Last of Us.
Speaker D:I know, I know, Laney.
Speaker D:I know.
Speaker D:Spartan, I think maybe you played it and I believed far right.
Speaker D:I think all of it except for myself.
Speaker D:We played it.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:Kira hasn't played it.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker H:I've had many friends who have cursed their way through playing, so I've lived for them.
Speaker D:Look, I'm playing Jedi.
Speaker D:I'm playing Jedi Survivor.
Speaker D:So I.
Speaker D:I'm trying to.
Speaker D:I'm doing that right now.
Speaker D:But what are your takes so far, like how close to the game it is?
Speaker D:And are you okay with some changes?
Speaker D:Because I'm sure there are changes.
Speaker B:Yeah, well, there are some changes, but not very big ones.
Speaker B:And I had to.
Speaker B:I'm actually kind of playing the Last Of Us, Part 2 as the show's going on, so I'm kind of spending some nights trying to get to where the game is and where the show is.
Speaker B:So it's fun, that.
Speaker B:But no, there's not really a lot of big changes.
Speaker B:Like currently where they're at right now, this is still the beginning of the game.
Speaker B:This is just the filler in between as you approach.
Speaker D:Really.
Speaker B:As you approach Seattle.
Speaker B:So the whole thing with.
Speaker B:The whole thing with Dina and with Ellie, it was.
Speaker B:It really wasn't touched on.
Speaker H:Face is everything.
Speaker A:And this is just the beginning.
Speaker A:What?
Speaker B:This is your beginning.
Speaker C:This is your introduction to Seattle.
Speaker B:I'll put this way.
Speaker B:Kira in episode.
Speaker B:Episode five, and all that stuff is gonna pick up, but right now, this is still.
Speaker B:This is still the.
Speaker B:Just for anybody doesn't know, she's still hunting down.
Speaker B:There's five people she has to hunt down, including Abby.
Speaker D:It's just one.
Speaker D:Maybe, Maybe not.
Speaker I:See how they.
Speaker I:How they adapted that part.
Speaker C:Everyone.
Speaker C:Everyone in that room.
Speaker C:Everyone in that room is complicit.
Speaker D:Yep.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:And that's the thing.
Speaker B:She said.
Speaker B:She literally.
Speaker B:She literally says their names.
Speaker B:Now, they didn't cover it in the show, but in the video game, she says everybody's names before she gets knocked out.
Speaker B:So when she comes to, she's like, I'm gonna hunt this person.
Speaker B:This person, this person, this person.
Speaker B:So again, early in the game.
Speaker B:So this episode.
Speaker D:Arya Stark.
Speaker B:Yeah, it's Arya Stark.
Speaker A:It.
Speaker A:I mean, go for yours, girl.
Speaker A:Are we four episodes in?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker I:So here's the thing.
Speaker I:I think the way that they're gonna adapt it is that they're taking season two and season three since at the second game.
Speaker I:So that's why it's kind of slowering, because, like, if you think about it from the game's perspective, you might be in hour three or four.
Speaker I:Four by the time the fourth episode comes.
Speaker I:And it's about a 15 to 20 hour game.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:And.
Speaker D:And.
Speaker B:I'm trying to thank you.
Speaker D:And it begins, ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker B:Got it.
Speaker B:Right now, the adaptation is.
Speaker B:We don't know if she's going to.
Speaker B:We don't know.
Speaker B:Again, this.
Speaker B:The adaptation.
Speaker D:They may not.
Speaker B:She may not go for anybody for that.
Speaker B:Or the rest of them could just be Cannon Father.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Along the way.
Speaker B:Now, what's interesting about this episode, though, is you get introduced to Isaac, Jeffrey Wright's character, who also, Jeffrey Wright did voice in the game.
Speaker B:So for a lot of people that don't know, he did voice Isaac in part two.
Speaker B:So now you.
Speaker B:So now you get to introduce the guy that basically is the leader of the wlf.
Speaker B:And if you see a lot more.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:So it's just Jeffrey Wright.
Speaker D:You better.
Speaker D:You better pay.
Speaker B:I love.
Speaker B:I love.
Speaker B:I love how he did Isaac.
Speaker B:How he does.
Speaker B:I mean, you get A little brief backstory on him, and then you see why what happened and go from there.
Speaker B:And then the torture scene with one seraph.
Speaker B:So just to sum it all up, it doesn't really have a lot of adaptation for right now.
Speaker B:You're really getting the backstory on what you find out later in the game.
Speaker B:Like, correct me if I'm wrong on that, Laney.
Speaker I:Yeah.
Speaker I:So I think also what I've been hearing, and I kind of disagree with it, was that some people are taking issue with, especially in.
Speaker I:In episode four, how it feels like Ellie's a lot softer than in the game as a person.
Speaker I:I think the one thing I do agree with was that, like, the way that Ellie is portrayed as far as maybe even being a hunter and this sense, I think Dina has a lot more of those qualities or showing a lot more of those qualities and that I kind of understand and.
Speaker I:And understand that that's a gripe and think the rifle gripe.
Speaker I:But then they were saying how, like, by this time in the game, especially by the time they get into the theater, he is cutthroat.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker I:I think we've seen a part of that.
Speaker I:But I also think it would feel very out of place being that unfortunately, herself stature has not translated well from the game to here.
Speaker I:So because they're working with smaller person stature, I feel like her being, like, acting all buff and everything like that, to me made total sense.
Speaker I:But I have heard that, like, that.
Speaker I:That pushback as far as the characterization of Ellie by Bella Ramsey, at least now.
Speaker D:Well, I mean, she did command an army and.
Speaker D:And make them follow Jon Snow.
Speaker D:So, I mean, I'm just saying.
Speaker B:Plus, the train.
Speaker B:The train team with all the quarter steps, I'm like, that was awesome.
Speaker B:That was very well done.
Speaker C:Yeah, this.
Speaker C:This whole episode played like that part of the game.
Speaker C:This was basically your introduction to Seattle.
Speaker C:So, like, the guitar part playing and take on me, all of that is the extra stuff you can do.
Speaker C:Otherwise, you can go straight to finding the people who got struck, finding the people who got strung up, and then having to kill those people who came looking for them.
Speaker C:And then you end up in the train.
Speaker C:And that.
Speaker C:That's basically the end of that level.
Speaker C:But there's a bunch of stuff to explore, and that's kind of what they fleshed out here.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker C:And now the game matches the show because, damn, y'all know how to throw an awkward ass sex scene in there.
Speaker B:Like, I mean, it was.
Speaker B:If you want to talk about.
Speaker D:I was.
Speaker B:I was trying to explain to my.
Speaker B:Me and my wife were watching and she's like, what the.
Speaker B:I said, this is why.
Speaker D:Just.
Speaker B:Just ride it out.
Speaker B:It won't be long.
Speaker D:Wait, wait.
Speaker A:I got a baby in me.
Speaker A:Let's.
Speaker A:Let's do it.
Speaker D:I'm not.
Speaker D:I'm not.
Speaker A:I'm not here.
Speaker C:It was.
Speaker I:Not two critical point.
Speaker D:They.
Speaker D:She.
Speaker I:That's very, very differently in the game.
Speaker I:Yeah, he reacts very, very differently.
Speaker I:But I was.
Speaker I:I went back and forth of trying to grapple with that.
Speaker C:They also.
Speaker C:I mean, they also did do this.
Speaker C:They also did do this earlier when Joe was getting just bodied in the other room.
Speaker C:So that's when this was supposed to happen the first time.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:But they stopped Joe at the time that Joe is getting killed.
Speaker B:Dina supposedly is doing the dude.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker I:Yeah.
Speaker C:Getting high and doing the dude with Ellie.
Speaker C:And then they decided to say, like, hey, I'm immune.
Speaker C:I'm pregnant.
Speaker C:Cool.
Speaker C:What?
Speaker C:Right, like, which means you were like sneak dicking the entire time Ellie was in a coma.
Speaker A:So maybe not the whole time.
Speaker A:Just one time.
Speaker H:Just enough to get him through.
Speaker H:Just enough to get him through.
Speaker C:Once is enough.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker C:So in the game, it looks dumb like for the.
Speaker C:At the time period.
Speaker C:It was at the game.
Speaker C:Got away with it because it was like, everyone's trying to avenge Joel.
Speaker C:This gives Dina more reason because it's like before you just left because you like this girl regard.
Speaker C:Knowing you were pregnant.
Speaker C:At least in the show, they give her a reason because she has all the facial IDs she saw Joel dot.
Speaker C:She at least has some attachment.
Speaker C:Before it was just like, yeah, I left my child's father back there and came because I got a crush on you.
Speaker C:Let's go kill some people.
Speaker C:People.
Speaker B:At the same time.
Speaker B:But the crazy part is that the whole time you literally get to meet the wlf.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker C:So you're getting introduced.
Speaker C:You're getting introduced to the dynamic of this new territory.
Speaker C:Whereas you have the scar or the wolves.
Speaker C:The scars.
Speaker C:And then you've got the infected on top of that with the.
Speaker C:Now you've got basically military.
Speaker C:Or you got what, Fedra and Firefly refugees in a new group.
Speaker C:And then you've got a cult.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:Federal scars.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:I wasn't.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:I would say this the.
Speaker D:The scene where Isaac is garnering information.
Speaker D:I'm.
Speaker D:I'm setting things up and I.
Speaker D:And I look over and I'm like, I'm.
Speaker D:Wasn't expecting that in my face.
Speaker D:Thank you very much.
Speaker D:But.
Speaker A:I felt very bad for that young man.
Speaker A:I felt like he did not deserve the treatment he got.
Speaker A:He was living a hard enough life packing what he was packing.
Speaker A:He could have just let him go.
Speaker A:That's punishment enough.
Speaker H:We all knew.
Speaker A:Look, look, I'm not.
Speaker I:You did not give him a chance to show his girl.
Speaker A:Send him home.
Speaker A:Just send them.
Speaker I:I almost thought that they might.
Speaker I:That he was going to actually have that copper on that thing because I'm like, for him to be all the way naked.
Speaker I:I thought that he might have.
Speaker A:Why would they show that if we.
Speaker I:Are not seeing the proof of that?
Speaker C:That's.
Speaker D:That's okay.
Speaker B:Like, they.
Speaker C:I couldn't tell who.
Speaker C:What that person was because of how they shot it.
Speaker C:And I'm like.
Speaker C:I thought they were just leaving it up.
Speaker C:Like, for you.
Speaker H:They're brought to you by Mountain Dew because I got nothing else.
Speaker B:Yeah, that was the Sarah fight he was torturing.
Speaker C:I couldn't tell if it was male or female because of how they had the shadows and the legs crossed and the.
Speaker I:I think it was.
Speaker D:Who knows?
Speaker D:Male.
Speaker A:So, yeah, I mean, that's cool.
Speaker D:That was full on Twitter.
Speaker C:I didn't.
Speaker C:I didn't catch it, thankfully, so.
Speaker B:Does get a lot more.
Speaker B:Gets a lot more story, especially where I was more.
Speaker C:Like, I was.
Speaker C:I was just focused on Isaac just beating the dog car out of this, man.
Speaker C:And everyone like, oh.
Speaker C:Oh.
Speaker D:There was no actual beating.
Speaker D:There was.
Speaker D:There was literal torture.
Speaker C:Like, oh, I'm sorry.
Speaker D:No bloody knuckles.
Speaker D:What's he got.
Speaker B:He got the good times treatment.
Speaker C:I promise.
Speaker C:I didn't see him.
Speaker C:Not that I'm looking.
Speaker C:I'm just like.
Speaker A:It was like.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:That's all you saw?
Speaker I:Like, come on.
Speaker I:How did you miss that, bro?
Speaker D:I'm just like, y'all see who caught it?
Speaker D:All I said was, damn, man.
Speaker D:You could have left the draw zone.
Speaker D:I'm just saying something.
Speaker D:You just.
Speaker D:All in his head, I will say this.
Speaker D:I wasn't expecting Josh to make Josh Peck to be in this episode.
Speaker I:That was telling the story.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Josh Peck was one of the soldiers in the very beginning.
Speaker D:Because I'm like, is that Josh?
Speaker A:He was the.
Speaker I:Oh, that's the one that they took.
Speaker I:Took away with him.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker I:Not his character.
Speaker I:But I wish that they just took Josh Pack because I would have loved to see him be an.
Speaker I:Like, really being.
Speaker C:He was the one.
Speaker C:He posted on his.
Speaker C:Yeah, he posted on his Instagram, actually.
Speaker I:Okay.
Speaker D:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:What has been seen cannot be unseen.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker C:Thank God I didn't catch it, so watch it again.
Speaker I:It's fine.
Speaker C:I'm okay.
Speaker C:It's just.
Speaker C:No, go ahead, finish your sentence.
Speaker A:Oh, no.
Speaker A:Now everybody can't say it.
Speaker C:Look at the bottle and say it.
Speaker D:How about that?
Speaker B:Try to sashay one in there on the.
Speaker B:On the slick side.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:I do have a serious question.
Speaker D:We're seeing a lot of games now getting transferred to live action.
Speaker D:Are they getting better at doing them?
Speaker D:Yes.
Speaker I:They skewered.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker I:They secured Until Dawn.
Speaker I:That's why I say that.
Speaker D:Oh, yeah.
Speaker B:Was it the dumpster fire?
Speaker B:I knew and hoped it would be.
Speaker I:Oh, it was more than enough Survivor.
Speaker D:That you knew and hoped it would be.
Speaker B:I kind of figured it would be, but, you know, I'll wait on yours.
Speaker D:I look at the success of the Sonic franchise because it's a franchise now, you know, and last of us got until dawn, but we're not talking about that.
Speaker D:And then there's talk.
Speaker D:There's the talk of Zelda being live action now.
Speaker D:And of course.
Speaker D:And of course, Mario.
Speaker D:The Mario franchise in Fallout and Fallout.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker D:So right there, there are six different titles that are.
Speaker D:I take that back.
Speaker D:Five.
Speaker D:Because I mentioned Until Doll.
Speaker D:Five titles that are actually quite successful in their transfer.
Speaker D:Whether it's over.
Speaker D:The live action Mario works best as the animation.
Speaker D:It just does, you know, considering the.
Speaker D:The content of it.
Speaker D:So that in Minecraft.
Speaker D:Thank you.
Speaker B:We don't talk about Halo.
Speaker B:Whoopy.
Speaker I:Yeah.
Speaker B:We don't talk about.
Speaker D:The first season's good.
Speaker D:It's just we're.
Speaker D:I don't know.
Speaker D:That first season.
Speaker B:That first season should have never happened because whoever was a showrunner never played the Halo game.
Speaker H:Yeah, I noticed that too, because it was.
Speaker H:It was so toned down.
Speaker D:That's what I thought it was.
Speaker H:So, Tony.
Speaker D:I mean, outside of.
Speaker D:Outside of the storyline that it should have done, it wasn't horrible.
Speaker B:They could have done Forward until Dawn.
Speaker B:You could have done Reach.
Speaker B:You could have done odst.
Speaker D:You could have literally.
Speaker D:You know what?
Speaker D:You know, Whoopi, you're right.
Speaker D:Unchartered is not bad.
Speaker D:No, Chartered really isn't bad.
Speaker B:Mark Wahlberg was not the right person for Sully, but as far as everything else was fine.
Speaker D:I agree.
Speaker D:I agree.
Speaker C:And you can.
Speaker C:You can age everyone up and just recast them and do a whole new set of friends.
Speaker D:I still say they should have went with Nathan Fillion, but, you know, call me a cynic, you know, because Tom Holland was the it factor at that time.
Speaker D:I get it.
Speaker D:And it wasn't a bad pick in the film itself.
Speaker D:Wasn't bad.
Speaker D:You know, so here we are looking at all these Properties.
Speaker D:They do.
Speaker D:Either they do fairly well or they don't.
Speaker D:I guess follow to code is the best way to put it because they.
Speaker B:Don'T follow the lore.
Speaker B:We have said it multiple times on the show.
Speaker B:You have all the lore, source material and video games fall back on.
Speaker B:You saw it and we saw it in Netflix.
Speaker B:We did one piece.
Speaker B:They did one piece.
Speaker B:And you actually did very well for one piece.
Speaker B:To give it eight episodes.
Speaker B:Everybody loves it now again, I could talk about Halo and all the multiple problems there or I could sit there and say Amazon did a wonderful job with Fallout telling the original story going into New Vegas.
Speaker B:There's a.
Speaker B:It's night and day how you can do something.
Speaker B:If you do it wrong, it shows.
Speaker B:If you do it right, you get more seasons.
Speaker D:So it's the same.
Speaker D:The formula is the same when it comes to comic books.
Speaker D:If you make the proper.
Speaker D:If you make the proper change, it's fine.
Speaker D:You know, I have yet to hear and I can use the Ultron theory all day.
Speaker D:I have yet to hear one person complaining about Tony Stark making Ultron instead of Hank Pimp.
Speaker D:I have yet to hear anyone complain about that because story wise to make it make sense to some form of realism.
Speaker D:It works.
Speaker D:Yeah, it just works.
Speaker D:And you know you.
Speaker D:Not every.
Speaker D:It works to have T'Challa and Shiri be smart, but Sherry's like the genius.
Speaker D:Yeah, it makes it.
Speaker D:You know, you can't have every major hero be have like 8 or 9 degrees and then be.
Speaker D:It's almost.
Speaker D:It's repeating a problem.
Speaker B:But it's also in terms of continuity as well.
Speaker B:You didn't, you really did not introduce Hank Pym at the time of Iron Man.
Speaker B:So trying to introduce Ultron and Hank Pym in a early setting would not go.
Speaker B:That's why that's what it made.
Speaker B:It would make sense for Tony to sit there and come up with the Ultron program.
Speaker B:That makes sense.
Speaker B:And then as you introduce Ant man, then you can introduce that side.
Speaker B:So there's a continuity side to it as well.
Speaker B:You can't throw multiple characters in one movie and then expect it to work.
Speaker B:Zack Snyder.
Speaker D:Ratner.
Speaker D:So I mean we see these things whether it's comic books, whether it's video games.
Speaker D:So we know it's not us being.
Speaker D:When we hear certain direct.
Speaker D:If you hear about a film that should have done better than it did than it does and then you find out the director, oh well, I've never read a Thor comic.
Speaker A:You waititi.
Speaker B:Thank you, Kira.
Speaker B:That.
Speaker B:Thank you, Kira.
Speaker B:That train Ain't never late.
Speaker B:We were fine.
Speaker D:We were fine with Ragnarok.
Speaker D:That was fine.
Speaker D:However, we didn't need another version of that.
Speaker D:That bowled it down exactly.
Speaker B:When you had Gore the God Butcher, one of Thor's greatest enemies.
Speaker B:And you literally.
Speaker A:Was perfect.
Speaker A:In the comics.
Speaker A:It was perfect.
Speaker A:And you just wiped your ass with the whole.
Speaker B:Because he wanted.
Speaker B:He wanted to make Ragnarok longer, longer, funnier and even cornier.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:I think outside.
Speaker D:Outside of Jane.
Speaker D:Outside of Jane and Valkyrie and their camaraderie.
Speaker D:That was fine.
Speaker D:That was.
Speaker D:That was completely fine.
Speaker D:But everything else.
Speaker D:I don't know what happened.
Speaker B:You literally had.
Speaker B:I mean, thank you for showing us Bost.
Speaker B:And thank you for showing us Cool.
Speaker D:Cool Con.
Speaker D:I don't know.
Speaker D:Maybe.
Speaker B:Maybe, huh?
Speaker B:You good?
Speaker H:Yeah, I'm fine.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker C:He's awake.
Speaker B:Stop.
Speaker B:He's awake.
Speaker H:I think I fell asleep.
Speaker B:Yes, we did.
Speaker B:Kind of think he was asleep.
Speaker D:Was a lot.
Speaker H:I was looking down.
Speaker H:I hear all of y'all in my ears.
Speaker H:Good Lord.
Speaker H:You know?
Speaker H:How about that?
Speaker I:You can't fall asleep.
Speaker D:No, but it was.
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker B:It was the angle.
Speaker B:Navy.
Speaker B:The angle.
Speaker B:Because.
Speaker B:Because Kira was pointing out.
Speaker B:I'm like, is he looking down at the phone or his eyes closed?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:What I was.
Speaker A:I was trying to be like.
Speaker A:I was.
Speaker A:I'm gonna poke.
Speaker A:I'mma poke you.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:But yo.
Speaker D:Yo.
Speaker B:Looks like point.
Speaker B:You're pointing to Navy as you're trying to poke.
Speaker B:That's what I was like.
Speaker B:That's why everybody kept looking like, what is Kira pointing at?
Speaker H:She's tickling my Captain America cup right there.
Speaker D:But see, that's.
Speaker D:But therein lies the problem.
Speaker D:Like when you have a Thor Ragnarok, which did very well, and we were okay with.
Speaker D:But then you turn around and say, let's take that formula again and tell another Thor story.
Speaker D:No, that's not what you want to do.
Speaker D:And this is.
Speaker D:And now here we are.
Speaker D:And.
Speaker D:And it's.
Speaker D:It's not Helmsworth fall.
Speaker D:It's not anyone's fault.
Speaker D:It's just.
Speaker D:Except for the director like.
Speaker B:This.
Speaker B:I wish that they took the same stand that Vincent Porio and.
Speaker D:The entire crew of Daredevil Born again.
Speaker D:The entire crew.
Speaker D:They all said.
Speaker D:They all said, we're not coming back.
Speaker D:And let's shoot to it.
Speaker D:Right?
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker D:Like hits.
Speaker D:And now that's why we've got the amazing season of Daredevil War get born again.
Speaker D:And we got.
Speaker D:Because they stood their ground.
Speaker D:They're just like.
Speaker D:Have you seen the previous series?
Speaker D:Have you read any of the Books, where's it at?
Speaker D:You know, so.
Speaker C:Last of us at least has Naughty Dog people working on it.
Speaker C:And then they've at least got the people who played the original characters helping on the show.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker D:And see, that's what I can appreciate for anything, anything that transfers a medium, I can appreciate.
Speaker D:You involve someone who's been on the original medium, whether it's a writer, one of the developers, one of the voice actors.
Speaker D:If several voice actors that know these characters don't just run, you know, you don't just run in there bare ass naked and make a movie and disregard fan or disregard the lore or everything.
Speaker D:You know, we've seen it before.
Speaker D:Some things we're fine with.
Speaker D:If you tell it outside of certain Star wars, if you.
Speaker D:We know we could have gotten better from that last film.
Speaker D:We know.
Speaker B:This is true.
Speaker D:I'm just saying it's true.
Speaker D:So I think it's, it's fair to say that any of these mediums, any of these fandoms that cross over, that you involve somebody that's been there.
Speaker D:Like, this is why Henry Cavill was so adamant about the Witcher.
Speaker D:He was just like, why would you do this?
Speaker D:I played this game, I've read these books.
Speaker D:Why would you do this?
Speaker B:Hence why I was successful.
Speaker B:He, he followed, he followed Blood of Elves all the way to the Wild Hunt.
Speaker B:And it was freaking beautiful.
Speaker B:And then y'all decide to say, we are gonna do it our way.
Speaker A:Yeah, it don't make sense.
Speaker A:It don't make sense.
Speaker A:You literally half the work is done for you.
Speaker A:The shit's written.
Speaker A:You got a storyboard.
Speaker B:That part.
Speaker D:Whether it's a game, whether it's a game series, whether the comic book series, Hell, I will say out front, any comic book movie you do on any major character, whether it's dc, whether it's Marvel, there is enough history to pick from and say, how can we transfer this to make it relatable, palatable and watchable over and over and over again.
Speaker D:The success has been pretty well for Marvel for the most part.
Speaker D:The success looks like it's going to be very well for D.C.
Speaker D:thanks to James Gunn.
Speaker D:I'm already hearing reports of.
Speaker D:He got through it.
Speaker D:He got the assignment, he knew the assignment.
Speaker B:And rumors and rumors that people may have already, some people may have already seen Superman, Superman's movie, and are raving about it.
Speaker B:Yeah, there are.
Speaker B:So there are tests.
Speaker B:There are test screens being done.
Speaker B:They did not say where, but James Gunn did come back and sit there and say.
Speaker B:He did come back there and say that test screens were done and crowds did love it, so somebody's get to see it.
Speaker A:He don't up on these types of movies.
Speaker A:Even the shitty ones.
Speaker A:Shitty ones he made.
Speaker D:He gets.
Speaker C:Went when they wait which ones are bad?
Speaker A:Slither.
Speaker I:Thank you.
Speaker A:That's why I'm saying that.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Even.
Speaker D:Even I think that.
Speaker D:I think in.
Speaker D:In Slither is one of my favorite horror films too.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker D:It's.
Speaker D:I think it's supposed to be.
Speaker D:It's supposed to be cheesy by design because that's what he's going for.
Speaker C:I would have gave.
Speaker C:I would have gave you a bright burn.
Speaker C:No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker C:It wasn't.
Speaker H:It wasn't supposed to be an introduction to a whole universe and it itself like it was supposed to.
Speaker C:It wasn't bad, but that movie needed another 30 minutes.
Speaker C:It just kept like, hey, here's a full wide shot of the next setting.
Speaker C:We're gonna do this 50 times as a transition and next crazy.
Speaker B:I always say Brightburn was basically Homelander's origin story.
Speaker H:Yeah.
Speaker C:Minus.
Speaker C:Minus the beatings and the torture.
Speaker C:This little boy was just like, out of all the ways to test your.
Speaker C:Of all the ways to test your power hand lawnmower.
Speaker B:Why not?
Speaker C:Like, what if this didn't work for you?
Speaker C:What was gonna be the lesson here and then.
Speaker D:Oh, no, no, no.
Speaker D:Bama Bradburn was not bad.
Speaker D:Actually.
Speaker D:It was not bad.
Speaker D:It was.
Speaker D:It was from James Gunn's perspective.
Speaker D:He said this was.
Speaker D:He said, what if Superman was evil, right.
Speaker C:In Russia, he just.
Speaker C:He tried to do way too much too quick.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker H:They could have done as an intro for Irredeemable.
Speaker H:If they were smart.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker H:If they were smart, that could have been a series of Irredeemable that have been fine.
Speaker H:But when you're trying to introduce a character and create this whole universe, but you don't give any type of other structural or background or other characters that don't get the chopped out of them because of a angsty little boy.
Speaker H:What the hell?
Speaker C:He, like, he realized I had powers.
Speaker C:It's like, well, everybody, I'm doing what I want today.
Speaker C:Like, no.
Speaker C:No reason other than the.
Speaker C:Then when he goes outside and has this alien crash out moment and we just eat dinner the next morning like nothing happened.
Speaker C:That's the problem.
Speaker C:I was like, what the is happening?
Speaker D:Like, let's see, there are.
Speaker D:That's why I say there are certain.
Speaker D:I don't want to say there are certain films that we would love to have seen a second Part two.
Speaker D:Go ahead.
Speaker H:Yes.
Speaker A:Have you not seen what's going on outside?
Speaker A:After this election these out here acting like I don't understand what's going on.
Speaker A:Oblivious.
Speaker A:Oblivious.
Speaker A:Put your head.
Speaker B:That's idiocracy.
Speaker A:That was completely.
Speaker D:Unfortunately we're living that sequel or the we're living the prequel.
Speaker H:If Martha and Jonathan Kent didn't get it it and I never would my look.
Speaker C:The kids did a better job of hiding the spaceship.
Speaker C:Their child came in their spaceship talked back to him and made translated a whole language and they're just like.
Speaker C:And waffles at this point.
Speaker C:Like have a conversation.
Speaker C:Hey, you came in that thing.
Speaker D:What.
Speaker C:What happened?
Speaker C:You had a whole.
Speaker C:By the way you blew a hole in the roof the other day.
Speaker C:What was that about?
Speaker C:Like they just pretend he doesn't have powers until people start turning up missing and then you find he's a whole psychopath stringing people up like a.
Speaker C:Like a science experiment.
Speaker H:That was a testament to mental health.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker H:Ability to see of what's in front of you.
Speaker H:Come on now.
Speaker D:But I even.
Speaker D:But speaking of like films that we would have loved.
Speaker D:Like that's the film.
Speaker D:I would love to love to See another part 2 Since it was teased and gun said I had something in the tank.
Speaker D:But it's.
Speaker D:And he played it smart.
Speaker D:He said I had something in the tank.
Speaker D:However it's been so long it's not going to be worth.
Speaker D:It's waiting gold to do it again.
Speaker D:And I get it because I've seen movies.
Speaker D:Sin City is a perfect example.
Speaker D:Sin City is a great film.
Speaker D:Yep.
Speaker D:You waited 10 years to tell Sin City a dame to kill.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:It was 10 years.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:10 years too late.
Speaker D:Chronicle.
Speaker D:Chronicle is another one.
Speaker H:Yes.
Speaker C:I made a joke.
Speaker C:I made a joke before you can make a movie and just call it the Forgotten take the people.
Speaker C:Let the kid from Brightburn let him age up.
Speaker C:Let them be an absolute nightmare.
Speaker C:He has to go find you get the kids from Jumper, whoever's left from Chronicle and handcuff and just.
Speaker C:And go let him handle business.
Speaker I:Damn you bringing them out.
Speaker H:I can see that.
Speaker H:For Jumper though.
Speaker H:I could see that.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Jumpers and Tucker and Dale vs Evil was funny.
Speaker D:You couldn't give me a sequel.
Speaker D:Now they.
Speaker D:They have waited that long.
Speaker D:It's been over 10 years for Tucker and Dale versus evil.
Speaker D:I'm like damn two regnet boys who are mistaken for serial killers.
Speaker I:It writes itself.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:It's a whole.
Speaker D:It's a whole horror comedy.
Speaker D:When you find out I am Number.
Speaker C:Four was another One that was good.
Speaker D:I am.
Speaker D:No, there's a lot of films around that time period that did pretty well, but I think, I think that.
Speaker D:I think Iron Number Four came on like, on the tail end of that because it was.
Speaker I:Yeah.
Speaker I:Of the ya craze.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:You know, so you had.
Speaker D:What was it?
Speaker D:Divergence, Hunger Games.
Speaker D:It was another one.
Speaker D:It was I am Number four, Hunger.
Speaker D:Divergence, Virgins.
Speaker D:And it was one other one and they tried it and they really.
Speaker D:Hunger Games is probably the most successful out of that entire period.
Speaker I:Okay.
Speaker H:You know what's crazy?
Speaker H:There is a.
Speaker H:I think.
Speaker D:I mean.
Speaker C:Yeah, Potter was on his way out, I think, around that time.
Speaker H:There's another movie you could throw in there too, and that could actually be a connection.
Speaker H:If you threw in Looper, that was a good one.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:Like the world blooper.
Speaker D:Like people that are trying to.
Speaker D:People that are figuring it out.
Speaker D:And Demetrius is.
Speaker D:Is a stock supporter of this, of this life.
Speaker D:You have the Alien, the Predator, Blade Runner.
Speaker H:Oh, yeah, Blade.
Speaker H:Yes.
Speaker D:Like those worlds exist within each other now, you know, so there's.
Speaker D:There's opportunities when you know the source material.
Speaker D:There's opportunities when you know the right piece.
Speaker D:When somebody say, oh, it's too hard to write a Superman movie.
Speaker D:A character that's over 70 years old is.
Speaker D:Is too hard to pick from any kind of source material.
Speaker D:You can't.
Speaker D:You can't tell a live action Hustler or any of those major stories like that.
Speaker D:You.
Speaker D:You can't pull that off.
Speaker D:That's a problem.
Speaker D:Like, do the work.
Speaker D:It's not hard.
Speaker D:Dr.
Speaker D:Strange.
Speaker D:It's not hard.
Speaker D:What was Benedict doing in the stores?
Speaker D:I'm going to pick up some Dr.
Speaker D:Strange books.
Speaker A:Oh, my friend was working at that store when he took those pictures.
Speaker D:See, John Barathol, when he got the roof Punisher, he went straight to a comic book store picking up Punisher books.
Speaker D:And he says, the guy that works there said, no, you don't want those.
Speaker D:You want to read these.
Speaker D:And he did it and, and he got it, you know, so there's.
Speaker D:There are levels.
Speaker D:There are ways to do it without messing you up.
Speaker D:We're not saying it has to be page for page, panel for panel, frame for frame.
Speaker H:Whether it's game or book, they capture the essence.
Speaker D:That's it.
Speaker D:Dungeons and Dragons.
Speaker D:Honor Amongst Thieves is a great movie that got a bad rap.
Speaker H:Say it again for the people in the back, please.
Speaker D:Amazing honor amongst these.
Speaker D:Y'all let that movie down.
Speaker D:That movie was fun, it was funny, it was action packed.
Speaker D:It Paid homage to the original Dungeons and Dragons cartoon crew.
Speaker A:It didn't blow everything out the water, but it didn't do bad.
Speaker D:No, it didn't do what it could have done.
Speaker H:People dogged it out.
Speaker H:People who didn't understand it and don't understand that type of movie dogged it out because.
Speaker H:Because unfortunately you live in a generation now where they want.
Speaker H:Wanted to pop out because they're stupid.
Speaker H:They have 15 second attention spans and if it doesn't hit them right away, it's a failure.
Speaker H:And those are the ones you want to push off a cliff and see if they swim.
Speaker D:Oh, wow.
Speaker H:I know they ain't gonna fly.
Speaker H:Damn pelicans just let them drown.
Speaker C:So another one that I know people were like, the fans are cruel on or critical on when I worked at the theater, but like the Cat was Warcraft.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker I:I never seen that.
Speaker I:Actually.
Speaker C:I didn't get to watch it.
Speaker C:I know my parents like that.
Speaker C:I know.
Speaker C:What?
Speaker C:What?
Speaker C:What?
Speaker A:What?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker H:Lord, here we go.
Speaker A:I didn't say anything.
Speaker H:You don't have to.
Speaker C:I don't pull down the curtain.
Speaker C:I don't know anything about the world of wow.
Speaker C:I just know the people who are like die hard fans.
Speaker C:Absolutely.
Speaker C:Absolutely not.
Speaker C:Regular movie goes like, hey, this is nice.
Speaker H:They did it.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:My son said the same thing.
Speaker D:He said it's not exactly the game, but he said this.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker D:And that's all I need to hear.
Speaker D:It was like.
Speaker D:Because I.
Speaker D:Because I can understand that as a comic book.
Speaker D:As a comic book guy.
Speaker D:I seen the original Captain America movie from the 90s.
Speaker H:I remember the TV show.
Speaker D:That in that one too.
Speaker D:I still cringe watching that.
Speaker I:So David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury.
Speaker D:Yeah, seen that one too.
Speaker D:Yeah, Yeah.
Speaker I:I didn't even know what I was watching, actually.
Speaker D:The Generation X TV film, the Justice Society television film that should go on to be found on YouTube.
Speaker D:The Wonder Woman pilot that day never got to air.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:I've seen quite a few things that I have taken.
Speaker D:I have.
Speaker D:I've been the cannon fodder for the people's enjoyment, so to say.
Speaker D:I've seen these things.
Speaker H:So we're not going to talk about the original Wonder Woman series.
Speaker H:It was Kathy Lee Crosby.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Oh, yeah, I remember that.
Speaker D:That.
Speaker D:I remember that.
Speaker H:Forget that one.
Speaker H:That's a scar on myself.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:The melting.
Speaker D:The melting walls.
Speaker C:She made a cameo in one of the movies, didn't she?
Speaker D:The original.
Speaker D:Not, not, not Kathy Crosby, but Linda Ham.
Speaker D:Linda Carter, that, that one.
Speaker D:She made a cameo in the second.
Speaker B:Wonder Woman the second coming of the wonder woman.
Speaker D:The.
Speaker D:The.
Speaker D:The own.
Speaker D:The best part of that film.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Was.
Speaker D:Was Linda Carter still.
Speaker D:Just because I was just like, oh, it's nice to see you again, Diana.
Speaker D:I don't care what they're calling you in this film.
Speaker B:In other words, really.
Speaker B:The really rough Marvel days.
Speaker B:Really rough.
Speaker D:Iron man, was that that trial of incredible Hulk?
Speaker D:Oh, boy.
Speaker B:Special special effects and camera angle.
Speaker B:Still learned something that day.
Speaker D:Stan Lee was in attendance that day.
Speaker C:Hulk was in court.
Speaker D:Yeah, Hulk was in court.
Speaker D:So we're gonna take another break.
Speaker D:We're gonna premiere a new music video by our very own Crazy.
Speaker D:It's great.
Speaker D:We're gonna check it out, do a little review right now.
Speaker D:Here it is on our ex.

Speaker D:Breakthroughizzy.
Speaker D:Check this out.

Speaker I:That joint's hot.
Speaker H:Yes, sir.
Speaker H:That's my third time listening to it, but be over there blushing like father.
Speaker D:Father.
Speaker B:No speeding on Dallas.
Speaker D:I have to pick him up for.
Speaker B:A second because all you heard was.
Speaker D:Just back and forth.
Speaker D:Oh, you heard speeding foot footsteps.
Speaker A:That's all I can think.
Speaker C:We got two new.
Speaker C:We got two new crazy eight tracks before GTA 6, right?
Speaker A:Get two crazy albums before we get GTA 6.
Speaker I:That part.
Speaker D:So as I.
Speaker D:As we stated earlier, May 4th just premiered this weekend.
Speaker D:We also got Tales from the Underworld.
Speaker D:Kira, I think you watched it in its entirety.
Speaker A:Yeah, it was good.
Speaker A:It was good.
Speaker I:1 Episode 4.
Speaker A:Nah.
Speaker A:B O B Yo B.
Speaker A:They did.
Speaker A:They did right.
Speaker A:They did right by cat.
Speaker A:I still don't forgive them for killing him, but they did.
Speaker A:Ventress, let's go more.
Speaker D:I appreciate.
Speaker D:I truly appreciate what Filoni has made made happen in this camp.
Speaker D:And it gives me great hope of what they have going forward, animation wise and live action.
Speaker D:What I've seen so far, live action like Skeleton Crew and even the Acolyte, which if I honestly, I'll stand on this hill.
Speaker D:If you had given acolyte a solid 10 episodes and scaled back some of the slow burn, you might have been all right.
Speaker D:Because the slow burn in the beginning was fine, but then you hyped it up and then you dropped it back down.
Speaker D:That was the problem.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker C:Once we got to episode five, it should have just been all cranked from there.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:So that I still say give that one another shot and just go ball to the wall.
Speaker D:Just let it happen.
Speaker D:Like, even.
Speaker D:Even Andor's first season was slow burn.
Speaker D:We know this is the last season, so we can.
Speaker D:We know this is the last season for Andor, so they have no choice but to ramp it up.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker D:You know, so those types of things we need, you know, so I appreciate that level of action.
Speaker A:Wait, is there another episode of Andor tonight?
Speaker A:Are they doing three at a time each time?
Speaker C:Everybody's on this release schedule.
Speaker H:You must exercise willpower, Lady Mandalore.
Speaker A:I won't go sleep.
Speaker H:Then go sleep.
Speaker D:I watch.
Speaker I:You gotta be an adult, Lady Mandalore.
Speaker H:Yes.
Speaker H:Thank you.
Speaker H:Thank you, lady.
Speaker D:Thank you.
Speaker C:They said everyone is.
Speaker C:Everybody's on that.
Speaker C:Your friendly neighborhood release schedule.
Speaker I:Why finally watch that whole thing.
Speaker I:That is so good.
Speaker D:You just.
Speaker C:Girl, where have you been?
Speaker I:I haven't had the time.
Speaker H:Exactly.
Speaker H:She's been adulting.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker H:Example.
Speaker D:Look here, look here.
Speaker D:Don't you put that on us.
Speaker D:Just tired of it all.
Speaker I:At least I got to it.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker D:Yeah, it's.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:I'm glad that he's putting out.
Speaker D:This is what we call quality content.
Speaker I:Amen.
Speaker D:Like you're.
Speaker D:You really put it.
Speaker D:I just spoke to a woman today.
Speaker D:She said, yeah, me and this older lady.
Speaker D:She was like, yeah, me and my husband, who their star.
Speaker D:They're Star Trek fans.
Speaker D:But she said she's not big on Star wars, but she's managed to watch Star wars like some of the shows.
Speaker D:And she says.
Speaker D:She was saying, yeah, my husband just started watching this other one and.
Speaker D:Or no, not and.
Speaker D:Or skeleton crew.
Speaker D:And I said, it's the schooling.
Speaker D:It's Goonies in space.
Speaker D:That's all I could tell her.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker D:I said, it's Goon.
Speaker D:Her eyes lit up.
Speaker D:Because I.
Speaker D:You say it that way, they know what to expect.
Speaker D:I said, you don't need to know anything else.
Speaker D:You don't.
Speaker D:You don't need to know anybody else.
Speaker D:It's a straight shot.
Speaker D:It's about some kids adventure, just straight out fun.
Speaker D:Go at it.
Speaker D:Will they get another season?
Speaker D:I honestly kind of hope they do.
Speaker D:They should.
Speaker D:So I don't.
Speaker D:But I'm glad that.
Speaker D:I'm glad that even though I couldn't celebrate free time, but I'm glad that I've seen a lot of people going out there and doing what it's actually meant to do, and that's taking their kids and getting them to.
Speaker D:To read.
Speaker D:To actually read comic books.
Speaker D:It's probably the best thing to start children on Anything shout out to John over at Carolyn.
Speaker D:John's Comics.
Speaker D:He started his comic collection from his grandfather who was an immigrant and that's how he learned how to read.
Speaker D:And he just passed them off to his grandson to his job.
Speaker D:And so it's an endearing story and it says a lot about what it means to just start off something if you're not used to it.
Speaker D:PBS is a real thing.
Speaker D:We need that.
Speaker A:What type of human who goes after Big Bird and Elmo?
Speaker B:I'll give you three guesses.
Speaker C:Thank you, Satan.
Speaker C:BLS above in the devil.
Speaker D:Credit on this one.
Speaker D:He was like, look, look, I didn't even sanction this.
Speaker D:What the hell is wrong with you?
Speaker B:The whole thing against.
Speaker B:Not the whole thing against PBS and npr, which is kind of funny.
Speaker B:There are publicly federally funded foundations.
Speaker B:He can't, he can't cancel that.
Speaker H:Them.
Speaker D:That's right.
Speaker B:Congress has the ability.
Speaker D:It's been writing.
Speaker I:Would you know that?
Speaker I:And so Supreme Court.
Speaker B:So yeah, I don't mean to go.
Speaker B:I don't mean to go too political on this.
Speaker B:Congress has the ability to cut funding.
Speaker B:He does not have any power to cancel.
Speaker A:Like they're against him.
Speaker B:I'm not gonna argue that.
Speaker B:I'm not gonna argue the cult is out out there.
Speaker B:But he can't just, he can't just do everything he wants to do.
Speaker B:Hence why a lot of his so called terrorists are not in effect right now.
Speaker C:Hey, man, Elmo has raised congressman and killer.
Speaker C:Somebody will spin the block on the bfc.
Speaker C:Keep playing.
Speaker B:Hey, all we, all we need is another Luigi.
Speaker D:Just saying.
Speaker B:Although in the words of the.
Speaker B:All the words of a Murphy's character from Mulan.
Speaker B:He was right in front of you.
Speaker D:You.
Speaker D:How did you.
Speaker C:It was three inches to the right.
Speaker C:How did you.
Speaker A:When, when was.
Speaker B:When, when, when reset.
Speaker D:That's like.
Speaker A:Shot.
Speaker A:He got real close.
Speaker A:You gotta give him that.
Speaker A:He got real close from that far.
Speaker B:I'm just saying he was right in front of you.
Speaker C:But as far as education, I did hear like comic book shops were packed everywhere this weekend.
Speaker C:So.
Speaker D:And, and I'm, and I'm glad this is.
Speaker D:These are the stories I like to talk about when it comes to comic books is when you have free comic book day and you hear about how the brick and mortar stores are packed when you have certain bookstores who carry these books are packed.
Speaker D:That creates another generation of readers of people who wants to want to come in and say, you know what?
Speaker D:I haven't read this book about Superman, Batman.
Speaker D:I haven't read this book about The X Men or whatever one shot they have for any indie book that they come out, that only comes out during those times, you know, so that creates another generation, that creates another reader, that creates another person who's literally being literal, literacy based.
Speaker B:And also it keeps the doors to local bookstores, libraries.
Speaker B:It keeps them open.
Speaker D:It does it.
Speaker D:These, that's the part that no one talks about is these doors stay open for these brick and mortar stores because it still costs them shipping, it still cost them for storage, it still cost them for all of this stuff.
Speaker D:So they're, you know, even after free travel day, the majority of what they have may be gone.
Speaker D:But if you still go to these stores, they still have some leftover.
Speaker D:So go grab what you can.
Speaker D:You know, if you have a little one in your life, like if you have little girls and little boys, they have, they make everything for free time.
Speaker D:Book day.
Speaker D:From My Little Pony, Powerpuff Girls, all the way over to anything done by Image, Marvel, dc, some of the stuff that you get from the majority, major, major 3 now are literally back doors to bigger storylines.
Speaker D:That's going to be told in the main continuity.
Speaker B:So but at the same time, at the same time, it's always that.
Speaker D:I'll be honest, I'm just gonna speak.
Speaker B:From the parent side.
Speaker B:I love a quiet car ride once I leave the combo store.
Speaker B:Oh, Oh, I love that quiet car ride.
Speaker D:Oh, that's gorgeous.
Speaker D:That's beautiful.
Speaker D:With that picture you shot that picture, that picture you showed all three of them back there.
Speaker D:Book open, book open.
Speaker B:And then book open the front.
Speaker B:Now, I say quiet for two reasons.
Speaker B:One, to see all my nephews.
Speaker B:You see all my nephews go into a comic book store and I don't.
Speaker B:I said, first year, I had the guy to years after that, let them go.
Speaker B:Let them go.
Speaker B:And they peruse, they pick their comics.
Speaker B:They'll go around.
Speaker B:If they got money, they'll buy whatever they want to buy.
Speaker B:Or if it's progress, my wallet's going to cry.
Speaker B:But it's a worthy cost.
Speaker D:It's a worthy cost.
Speaker B:I'll, I'll pay.
Speaker B:I'll pay that bribe all days a week for all A's and B's.
Speaker B:I will pay that.
Speaker D:I've been, I've definitely been there.
Speaker D:You know what?
Speaker D:Can I.
Speaker D:Go right ahead.
Speaker D:Add this to the list.
Speaker B:But no, it's just the whole thing of, like, for me, it's literacy.
Speaker B:Like, kids do better.
Speaker B:Like, nobody's not gonna.
Speaker B:After school special kids do better in grades and they're reading when they're reading.
Speaker B:They do better in math, they do better in science.
Speaker B:They do better in, in English.
Speaker B:Especially in English, because again, vernacular, your vernacular is open at the same time, you know, it works their creative thinking, it works their motor skills.
Speaker B:It does.
Speaker C:Yeah.
Speaker D:It wakes something up that, you know, you might have a child who doesn't learn as fast or doesn't learn as well in a, In a crowded classroom that we are currently under.
Speaker D:And it's not because they're slow or anything, it's just the attention span.
Speaker D:But if you put something in front of them that catches their attention, the colors pop the word.
Speaker D:They're just like, they're going to ask questions.
Speaker D:It might be a character they've seen on television or in a cartoon or in a movie, and they're completely locked in.
Speaker D:And they say, wait, and this is free.
Speaker D:And.
Speaker B:And it's not just comics, mangas.
Speaker D:So the, the door is open.
Speaker D:And I'm so glad that I see a lot of people come out and do support for the brick and mortars.
Speaker D:I'm glad to see so many kids, especially because kids that look like us, that come out and, and get their eyes on books and read the level of.
Speaker D:I think about the Dwayne McDuffies.
Speaker D:Yeah, that.
Speaker D:That could be created from this.
Speaker D:I think about the, the Daryl Banks that could be created from this.
Speaker D:I think about those type of people who come up and say, I like the way this art looks.
Speaker D:I like the way this character looks.
Speaker D:This has given me ideas.
Speaker D:You may end up wanting to work for the major three.
Speaker D:You may end up wanting to work for yourself.
Speaker B:And there's nothing wrong with being independent because we shot them out all the.
Speaker H:Time and they shine like supernovas.
Speaker D:That's it.
Speaker D:So it's, you know, so shout out to all of those creatives who participated in free comic book days.
Speaker D:So shout out to all the people who went and supported their.
Speaker D:Their shops and showed their love to their niece, nephews, the sons, daughters, grandchildren, whatever, and just had fun, you know, whether it be damn, people still cosplayed in a lot of them, you know, so they, you know, they.
Speaker D:It is still just another great time to go out, have fun, and just kind of get away.
Speaker D:And like I said, it happens every May 4th.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker D:Which is awesome.
Speaker B:Oh, Lord, we lost the host.
Speaker H:He messed up.
Speaker A:Oh, oh.
Speaker D:Oh, Lord.
Speaker H:What in the world?
Speaker A:Oh, hi.
Speaker H:Oh, you know what it was?
Speaker H:Oh, you know.
Speaker H:You know what it was.
Speaker B:Elon Musk strikes again.
Speaker H:First Saturday and he gave a date.
Speaker D:And the computer said I have no idea.
Speaker B:That just.
Speaker D:I'm like, what in the world just happened?
Speaker D:Correction.
Speaker D:I'm sorry, Issa.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker D:Just.
Speaker D:We're good.
Speaker B:That was wild.
Speaker B:That was.
Speaker B:That was.
Speaker B:That was Skynet for the robot joke in the chat.
Speaker B:In the chat room.
Speaker D:Oh, Lord.
Speaker B:That was Sky Nick saying.
Speaker C:Oh, we forgot to say the.
Speaker C:The dismissal.
Speaker C:All the things we said about the president in GTA 5.
Speaker C:That's.
Speaker C:That's how you dodge getting banned.
Speaker D:They're.
Speaker B:They're talking about us again.
Speaker D:Hit the button.
Speaker D:No, it's time for his land anyway.
Speaker D:But, yeah, shout out to all the brick and mortars who in.
Speaker D:Who supported Free Comic Book Day, who support Star Wars Day, who just go out and it's just about.
Speaker D:Just to get away from it.
Speaker D:All right?
Speaker B:I.
Speaker D:Even though I couldn't make it this year, I still got to go see Thunderbolts, So it's like.
Speaker D:I'm like, I'm getting something out the deal.
Speaker D:I'm getting something out this deal, you know?
Speaker D:So I'm like, I ain't doing this for.
Speaker D:For my health.
Speaker D:I'm doing this for.
Speaker D:For liberty in the rebellion.
Speaker D:So the glory.
Speaker D:For the glory.
Speaker C:On the Wheaties box.
Speaker D:No, but it's.
Speaker D:It's.
Speaker D:I'm glad that we're getting all of this stuff, and I'm glad that especially the Blur community, we are eating extremely well because Sinners has already amassed 2,236 million and counting.
Speaker B:Y.
Speaker D:Already considered a contender at the Cans Film Festival.
Speaker D:There is already talk of Oscar.
Speaker B:As it should be.
Speaker H:As it should.
Speaker B:You.
Speaker B:Oscar.
Speaker B:All you Oscar people.
Speaker B:You actually got to watch the movie this time.
Speaker B:We heard.
Speaker B:We know the rules.
Speaker D:Ah, yes.
Speaker D:What a time to be alive.
Speaker C:I promise you, if.
Speaker C:If nobody gets anything at the end of that.
Speaker C:The end of that ceremony, somebody's gonna make that meme of the handshaking sinner.
Speaker C:Magazine dreams getting snubbed by the entire Academy.
Speaker B:Oh, magazine dreams should also be considered because.
Speaker B:Lord, Lord, I watched that.
Speaker D:I'm like.
Speaker B:Just as a person.
Speaker C:Was it.
Speaker C:Was it not beautifully uncomfortable for two whole.
Speaker C:You're like, all right.
Speaker B:Words.
Speaker D:That.
Speaker B:That's all that needs to be said about that.
Speaker B:Beautifully uncomfortable.
Speaker B:Comfortable.
Speaker D:It's.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker C:The diner scene.
Speaker C:I was like, no, just like.
Speaker C:Just stick them and run.
Speaker C:At this point, it's.
Speaker C:I'm feeling weird.
Speaker D:We'll just say that sometimes your idols should not be met.
Speaker C:In his idol when he was already, like, one bad sentence away from just, like, the deep end.
Speaker D:That's.
Speaker C:I'm like, dog, he ain't catching.
Speaker B:Although I will say this as a person that works out.
Speaker B:Not everybody in the gym is natural.
Speaker B:But if you want your feeling, but if you want your dream shattered, watch magazine dreams for about a good hour.
Speaker D:Into the movie when, hell, when Hellspawn says, yeah, I don't need that in my life.
Speaker D:Like, I'm sure it's good, but I.
Speaker D:I haven't been in that.
Speaker D:In that circle with those folks.
Speaker D:It ain't working.
Speaker D:But with all that, we're getting ready to land the ship, talk and do our thing, and then go back and adult.
Speaker I:Why did you have to curse us?
Speaker D:Dang, sir, look, my name's not Harry Potter.
Speaker D:I don't know that that curse Lady Mandalore.
Speaker D:Talk to the people, let them know where you're at.
Speaker A:Hey, I am Lady Mandalore.
Speaker A:You can find me on these Internets at has a room full of blurbs.
Speaker A:That thing up there.
Speaker A:I, me and Navy.
Speaker D:Hi.

Speaker A:However, we are currently on a brief break.
Speaker A:We'll be back in July live.
Speaker A:But in the meantime, you can catch all of our lovely previous shows and reading of comics in the thing list that.
Speaker A:The watch list, whatever over on the YouTube.
Speaker A:I need my hours up help.
Speaker A:Please watch things.
Speaker A:Please critique.
Speaker A:I take criticism fairly well and sometimes I just ignore it.
Speaker A:But outside of that, I will be streaming live on Fridays.
Speaker A:Currently playing Jedi Star Wars.
Speaker A:No Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Speaker A:I am currently in the.
Speaker A:I think I'm ahead of Lloyd from Midnight Comics in the gameplay.
Speaker A:I'm going to probably accidentally operate purpose play for an hour tonight after get off because I want to make sure that I'm ahead of it.
Speaker A:Yeah, you can catch me on YouTube, Twitch and tick Tock for the video gameplay.
Speaker A:And then I work for sandwiches or free things when voice acting is involved.
Speaker A:Look, it's a fire sale.
Speaker A:Please hire me.
Speaker A:I like to do all types of things.
Speaker A:Yay.
Speaker A:Okay, bye.
Speaker D:Oh, my gosh.
Speaker I:Okay, y'all, what's up?
Speaker I:I am Lane from Geek by Heart.
Speaker I:Me and my husband run Geek by Heart.
Speaker I:I too also need our watch hours to get up.
Speaker I:So I understood that.
Speaker I:Lady Middle.
Speaker I:We do trailer reviews.
Speaker D:We do movie reviews.
Speaker I:We are covering the last of us.
Speaker I:We are putting out a review video the night that it comes out or definitely the day after.
Speaker I:We've been really good with that for the first four hours.
Speaker I:Episodes I stream on Wednesdays and Fri.
Speaker I:No Wednesdays and Sundays.
Speaker I:Wednesdays from 7:30 to about 10.
Speaker I:On Sundays from about 5 to now 8.
Speaker I:Right now I'm finishing up south and I want to either go into Little Nightmares or even the Mortuary Assistant.
Speaker I:I'm looking at that gameplay and thinking that I might do that.
Speaker A:So Little Nightmares, Little Nightmare, Little Nightmare.
Speaker B:Little Nightmares are hollow night.
Speaker D:I would see little.
Speaker H:See you doing Little Nightmares.
Speaker H:I want to see you play Little Nightmares.
Speaker I:Okay.
Speaker C:You can swap until dawn for the Telltale Games too.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker I:You know what?
Speaker I:The only reason why I'm not thinking about this because you just covered it.
Speaker I:So I'm going to get it till maybe October.
Speaker I:I want to play the T games again.
Speaker C:Well, I only did the third and fourth because I finished the first two and I wanted to wait till I could do it properly.
Speaker C:But the first two seasons are always good to revisit.
Speaker I:Oh, my God.
Speaker I:That whole thing is awesome.
Speaker C:Either that or.
Speaker C:Either that or Wolf Among Us.
Speaker C:Because that one's more magical.
Speaker B:Like Once.
Speaker I:I've never actually heard of that.
Speaker B:And I said Among Us.
Speaker B:You like it?
Speaker C:You ever watch Once Upon a Time?
Speaker H:That's you every day.
Speaker C:Imagine.
Speaker C:Imagine.
Speaker C:Kind of like what the first season of Once, but it's more.
Speaker C:They're trying to keep contained and you're kind of the sheriff of everybody.
Speaker B:It's also on Game Pass right now.
Speaker H:They patterned it after the comic fables and it's brilliant.
Speaker D:Y.
Speaker D:I mean, yeah.
Speaker C:Giving me, like, I.
Speaker C:I had to watch that.
Speaker C:I had to watch that ending three times before I understood what even happened.
Speaker D:Like, jeez.
Speaker D:So toar talk to the people working on new things.
Speaker C:If anybody wants to get their cards graded cheap.
Speaker C:I did go to GameStop and get a couple things looked at.
Speaker C:I have a couple, like, N1 Pokemon cards I got looked at, so just posted a video about that I'm working on.
Speaker C:Anyone's ever seen those, like, goofy producer pitch type videos?
Speaker C:I'm working on one of those for the Zelda franchise.
Speaker C:It was supposed to be done today.
Speaker C:I will hopefully have it up tomorrow.
Speaker C:Just finished streaming the Walking Dead.
Speaker C:I'm streaming Metal Arms glitching the systems in Kingdom Hearts right now.
Speaker C:Against my better judgments, I will be going to an early screening for Final Destination tomorrow.
Speaker C:Sorry.
Speaker I:Oh, nice.
Speaker H:We'll pray for your immortal soul.
Speaker H:What the hell?
Speaker D:Be all the way.
Speaker I:Might work out.
Speaker C:I come from a squeamish family.
Speaker C:Like me and my cousin, we tried to thug it out through two.
Speaker C:We were like nine.
Speaker C:So we got to the truck, we're like, you know what?
Speaker C:Shrek 2's next door.
Speaker C:Let's go watch that instead.
Speaker D:Speaking of which.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Somebody's.
Speaker D:Somebody actually got into an accident recently.
Speaker A:You'll be fine.
Speaker A:Y'all don't have one up there?
Speaker D:Look, you don't drive.
Speaker C:You don't drive in.
Speaker C:You don't drive in Dallas.
Speaker C:Okay?
Speaker C:It's already a pilgrimage to get to where the theater is going to be.
Speaker C:It's already scary enough as long as.
Speaker B:As long as it wasn't behind a log.
Speaker B:Wasn't behind a trailer full of logs, was it?
Speaker D:No.
Speaker H:We have an affair.
Speaker B:I would have been like, no, I.
Speaker H:Will pull the over.
Speaker D:As we've said before.
Speaker D:We told you we didn't lie over logs.
Speaker H:Yeah, I'm over here.
Speaker C:I will get around every Optimus prime size truck that is on the roads out here in these streets because I'm not going to be number one in the pile up.
Speaker C:Oh yeah, I we are still.
Speaker C:We're.
Speaker C:We're still under thing Blurred Con archives so if you want to go check that out, I'm also still over there.

Speaker B:Take away from the Reverend as I I think I heard Zuri about five seconds.
Speaker B:That little girl.
Speaker B:That little girl has found her voice.
Speaker B:And good Lord, she got set of lungs.
Speaker B:Anywho, not take away from the Reverend don't doom scroll.
Speaker B:Protect your peace.
Speaker B:Find something.
Speaker B:Do something that takes your mind off things, makes you laugh.

Speaker B:If you have the ability to make somebody smile, do so the world.
Speaker B:Use more of that.
Speaker B:Rules still apply about cons and cosplays.
Speaker B:Respect the cosplayer at all times.
Speaker B:Please wash your ass.
Speaker B:It's a dirty world out there.
Speaker B:Soap is available for everybody at the same time.
Speaker B:Guys, again, be nice, be kind.
Speaker B:Talk and share your fandoms.
Speaker B:Don't be a dick in the wind.
Speaker B:Yeah, we'll all be cool.
Speaker D:I thought he said he.
Speaker D:I thought he was gonna say may the wind be at your back.
Speaker D:I don't.
Speaker B:I was gonna say.
Speaker B:Maybe I was gonna.
Speaker B:I don't know why my mind.
Speaker B:My mind went, may the power protect you.
Speaker B:May the force be with you.
Speaker B:And somewhere in the middle of it, Doritos.
Speaker B:What?
Speaker H:What kind of Doritos, though?
Speaker H:That's the question.
Speaker B:I.
Speaker B:I was thinking because Obi.
Speaker B:Obi has found a his.
Speaker B:He likes the Nacho version.
Speaker B:The original Doritos.
Speaker B:Nacho orange.
Speaker B:He likes those chips.
Speaker D:Okay, so I'm.
Speaker B:So that's why my mind just went to like ping pong between three different places.
Speaker B:And that's for the whole.
Speaker B:Everything.
Speaker B:Everything went to my mouth.
Speaker B:And when mom was like, like, no.
Speaker H:May the power of the Force be with you.
Speaker H:What?
Speaker H:Shut up.
Speaker D:Imagine him saying that the force will be with you, my son Dorito.
Speaker B:As I'm doing Star Trek, he's gonna.
Speaker D:Start saying three fandom one time.
Speaker D:Oh, my man.
Speaker D:Maybe Myel.

Speaker H:To create something with legacy and something with history.
Speaker H:Stop giving your time, money, and attention to people who don't give a damn about you.
Speaker H:They only want your likes so they can brag to other people.
Speaker H:And they're not bringing out any type of content that is conducive to you or yourself.
Speaker H:If you can't show it to their kids, it's not worth it.
Speaker H:Okay?
Speaker H:We have too many amazing creators out here who are not getting the shine.
Speaker H:And don't and complain when these so called reality show guys don't pay you any homage.
Speaker H:They don't give a about you, but we do.
Speaker H:So give us that love, we'll return it back a hundredfold and everything will be fine.
Speaker D:Lock the doors.
Speaker D:Lock the doors.
Speaker D:Lock those damn doors.
Speaker H:Put the bigger.
Speaker D:Because we just want your money.
Speaker D:Unlike the gorilla that's gonna fight 100 men, we don't need that.
Speaker C:You know what?
Speaker D:I'm over here.
Speaker D:Although Hill Spawn wanting to fight a kangaroo seems interesting.
Speaker C:It's not.

Speaker C:Give me the gorilla debates any day.
Speaker C:Give me gorillas and met galas on my timeline.
Speaker C:I don't need to hear.
Speaker B:I'm sorry.
Speaker D:I remember.
Speaker B:All I can remember at a zoo one time was seeing a gorilla pick up half a log like it was a twig.
Speaker B:And I'm not talking small log.
Speaker D:I'm talking huge.
Speaker C:Huge.
Speaker B:And he flung it like a softball.
Speaker B:So you told me 100 people.
Speaker B:I'm like, y'all get y'all asses kicked.
Speaker D:If you want to.
